Me and Pikachu are running towards professor oak's lab and we finally get there

Prof oak: oh it's you ash
Ash: what do you want to talk to me about
Prof oak: a protege of mine has just opened up a new research facility in vermilion city and I was hoping to invite you to the opening ceremony. You will come won't you?
Ash: sure! (to Pikachu) You'll come too right

Delia: (smiles) I came to deliver your lunch but what a great idea all those delicious sweet shops and fashion boutiques in vermilion city

Prof oak: it seems your love of Pokémon hasn't changed young man, tell me ash a Pokémon master is that still your goal?
Ash:there's no doubt about it but now I'm going to be a pokemon master with my buddy by my side

Prof oak: we're here I'll go park the car, you go on ahead.

Ash grabs the yamper and starts petting him much to said Pokemon's discomfort and eventually shocks him
A girl walks by and sees the smoked up trainer as she has just came home and finished speaking to her friends.

She sees a shocked trainer and just walk away to the lab
Ash POV
Prof oak: ash if you don't get a move on you will miss the opening ceremony
(In the laboratory)
???: Thank you for coming I am professor Cerise, owner of the Cerise research laboratory, I especially thank all those who travelled a great distance to be here today, thank you all
Prof Cerise: Now let's move on to the subject of pokemon
Cerise: as you know our planet plays host to this mysterious lifeform in forests,in the skies and under the seas now matter where you go you will undoubtedly find them. So when as Pokémon and humans live together in the world they bond with eachother in many different ways. We at the Cerise research laboratory are dedicated in uncovering the mysteries of Pokémon in every region investigating,analysing digging deep and expanding our knowledge because to know Pokémon is to know the world and that is the key to making it a better world for each and everyone one of us.
(Crowd applauds him)
(Y/N) POV
Me and my partner dragonite just finished our adventures and I heard about this presentation so I came here to vermilion city
(Y/N): Well that was a great wasn't it buddy

Koharu POV
I'm sitting down and waiting for You as I look down and see yamper sleeping adorably next to me which causes me to smile
Koharu: come on Goh you told me you would be stopping by here today and that's the reason I brought your homework here with me
~phone pings~
Koharu( frustrated) "I'm going to be late, I'm about to have a fateful encounter
Koharu (pouts) the only time he calls is for nonsense like this
Cut to goh standing on a building
Cut back to ash's POV
Cerise: in about 20 minutes an extremely rare Pokémon about to appear over vermilion port
Ash: a rare Pokémon!!
Cerise: what do you think
Oak: well it certainly was likely-
Ash: PROFESSOR
Ash: I'll go check it out!
(Y/N): ME TOO!
(Ash and (Y/N) run out of the laboratory and towards vermilion port)
(As they are running)
(Y/N): ash how ya doing I saw your match against kukui in alola it was awesome!
Ash: thanks! so who are you?
(Y/N): My name is (Y/N) (L/N) I like travelling and befriend loads of people and pokemon.
Ash: me too! Do you wanna be friends with me
(Y/N): (smiling) sure
(Y/N) thoughts: I'm friends with the champ of the alola region so cool!
(Y/N): oh before I forget this is my partner dragonite
(We see dragonite flying next to (Y/N))
Dragonite: roar
Ash: SOO COOL! And this is my buddy Pikachu

Ash: cool we're the first two
(Y/N): Look out!
Ash: huh... AGHHH
(Crashes into a snorlax)
Ash: snorlax! Give me a break, MOVE OVER!!
Cut to Goh
Goh: here it comes 5,4,3,2,1 Go!
(Nothing special happens as there is a random psyduck on the building looking weirdly at goh,That is until a giant thunder cloud appears over a ship and Lugia appears)
(Trainers send out Pokémon such as jolteon, wartortle,corviknight and gengar)
(They attack but it does nothing)
(More trainers appear and decide to work together and they send out bisharp, sudowoodo, garchomp and sableye and they attack and it does nothing as it dodges and knocks them back.)
Ash: there you are
(Y/N): hey Lugia
Ash/(Y/N): let's have a battle!
Lugia flies up ready
Ash Pikachu use thunderbolt now!
(Y/N): dragonite use wing attack
(Pikachu and dragonite attack and they hit Lugia but it does nothing as it shoots out a hydro pump)
(Y/N): dragonite dodge and hit it wing attack again!
(Dragonite dodges as Pikachu is blasted back and ash catches pikachu. However it is proven futile as dragonite is hit away by Lugia and blasted back aswell as Lugia uses aeroblast.)
(Y/N): dragonite noo! Return
(Dragonite is returned into its pokeball)
(Lugia flies away as ash and (Y/N) are chasing it whilst goh is also chasing it as all 3 jump onto Lugia as ash and (Y/N) latch onto lugia's leg whilst Goh latches onto the tail as it flies off.)
(Ash and (Y/N) help Goh onto Lugia as Lugia looks at them both)
(Goh is analysing Lugia about its fins and how it feels rougher than expected , whilst (Y/N) looks straight ahead)
Ash: hey look!
(They turn to see ash hugging one of lugia's fins as it is moving)
Ash: it feels so warm after it is Lugia so it's exactly how it should be
(Lugia roars and flies higher as it's fins stop moving as it is flying with a flock of fearow)
Ash: fearow!
Goh: for them to be flying up as high as Lugia they must have amazing flying power
(Y/N): you said it, those fearow remind of mine and my other pokemon at prof oak's lab
Goh: (excited) can I see them!
(Y/N): eventually along with other pokemon I will befriend in the future (grins)
(Lugia suddenly closes his fins and dives straight down at fast speeds)
Ash/Goh/(Y/N): AAAGGGHHH
(Lugia uses hydro pump at the sea which cause water to shoot upwards leaving a huge hole in the sea and a rainbow in the background)
((Y/N), ash and Goh are mesmerized by this beautiful image Lugia has just created)
(Suddenly we were submerged in the water and have to hold our breath)
(Ash,(Y/N),Goh can't believe this as goh tries to speak with horseas and ash laughs forgetting they were underwater so quickly clamp their mouths shut)
(Y/N): 🤦 (face palming)
(Lugia flies above water so ash and goh could breathe)
Ash: it was awesome to meet so many Pokémon
(Y/N): I agree
Goh: (laughs) you're both pretty funny I accept both of you
(Y/N)/ash: you accept us?
Goh: I accept you both as my friends
Ash: what are you talking about
Goh: I'm goh from vermilion city
(Y/N): I'm (Y/N) from blackthorn city
Ash I'm ash from pallet town and this is my partner Pikachu
Ash/Goh/(Y/N): nice to meet you!
(Goh strokes Pikachu and Pikachu scares by pretending to about to shock him by releasing some static from its cheeks.)
Goh: by the way (Y/N) who is your partner
(Y/N): oh me I travel with my buddy dragonite
Goh: you have a dragonite!!! SOOO COOL!

(Lugia flies over land close to the ground but unfortunately for us we get thrown off as it flies away and leaving us stranded in the middle of nowhere. luckily vileplume break our fall)

We made it back to the lab eventually
Ash: (exhausted) finally we're home
The door opens and we're greeted by a dog Pokémon
(Y/N): who is that Pokémon it's cute
(Y/N): (getting closer) hi little buddy
Yamper; Grrrrr!
(Y/N): okay you don't want near you fine I'll back off sorry (walks back to goh and ash)
Yamper cuddles Pikachu
Koharu: you're late
Goh: you're not going to believe what happened it's the story of our fateful encounter, you'll never guess I met Lugia!
(Y/N): (sweatdrops) you didn't give her chance to guess
Koharu: is that so well this is more important your homework printout
Goh: (sweatdrops) right, okay
Goh (mumbles) not that I asked for them in the first place
Koharu: ( angry) huuuh!
Goh: (scared) th-that reminds me where is professor Cerise
Koharu: oh dad's inside the lab with professor oak

((Y/N) is cut off and shocked by yamper)

(Timeskip: 5 minutes later)
Prof Cerise: I've never seen such close ups before. Lugia's back fins while it's flying and clear as day.
Goh: well you have seen anything yet
(Footage of Lugia changes to it underwater)
Prof cerise: is this underwater? Incredible!
Prof oak: (Y/N), Ash how was your experience
(Y/N): amazing! I had lots of fun
Ash: you know for a little while we actually became friends with Lugia
Goh: became friends?
(Y/N): yeah the little time we were on it we were bonding the way it slowed came above the water when you two were struggling to breath underwater and slowed our descent with hydro pump
Cerise: what gave you the impression you became friends
(Y/N): well when Lugia looked at us-
Ash: there was this chill!
Goh: that was just your imagination
Ash: no your wrong
(Y/N): basically he's saying its one of those shocks and shivers down your spine
Goh: like (Y/N) said there was that time it slowed our descent before hitting the water by using hydro pump.
(Y/N): exactly
Ash: then I heard this voice that said "here we go!"
(Y/N): (pouts) lucky
Goh(surprised): heard a voice!
Cerise: ash! That's amazing!

(Y/N): yeah it is!
Cerise: alright let me say this, thank you from the bottom of my heart for the actions you have did today, due to the three of you I've learned things about Lugia no one ever has before. So I have a request for the three of you for you to become research fellows at my laboratory.
Ash/(Y/N): what's that?
Goh: it's a special research position
Cerise: you get to meet and possibly befriend the many types of Pokémon in this world, sharing ideas and communicating and so much more and feeling the understanding we have with Pokémon, all of us as a team.
(Y/N): count me in
Goh: I've been waiting to hear that, it's reality, it's my future and I can hold it in the palm of my hand.
Ash: professor cerise! I'll do it,I'll do it!
Cerise: great the three of you will accept my proposal?
(Ash and Goh begin fighting over who'll be better)
Delia: are you you'll be alright dear, it'll be a huge travel from here to pallet town you know.
Cerise: not a problem
(Cerise opens a door which reveals a room desks, a single bed and bunk beds)
(Ash and Goh begin fighting over who gets the top bunk while I just settling with the single bed)
Delia: if that's how it's going to be
Delia :(to mimey) can you help look after ash please
Mimey: mime mime
Ash: see you later mom
Delia: before I forget I want you to eat everything on your plate even your vegetables and don't forget to brush your teeth and-
Ash: I know
(Y/N): professor oak
Prof oak: yes (Y/N)
(Y/N): is it to call you because I'm going to be calling you switch my Pokémon from time to time.
Prof oak: it's fine young man, your Pokémon will be happy to see you again
Delia: (Y/N), goh please be friends with ash.
(Y/N): don't worry we'll be best friends
Goh: you can count on me
Ash: mom will you please stop
Prof oak: ill be back
Cerise: you are welcome back anytime
(They drive away)
Koharu: Dad are you ready
Cerise: sorry but can you please wait a little longer,there's one final thing I forgot about.
Back in the lab Cerise releasees 3 pokemon from their pokeballs and the Pokémon are
Ash: woah a charmander, a bulbasaur and a squirtle too
Cerise: Goh making his Pokémon debut but i haven't given him a starter yet
Goh: let's see I'm going to choose new
Ash: huh
Goh: I already decided my first pokemon is going to be mew
(Y/N) now that's a bold declaration right there
Cerise: you mean the mythical Pokémon!!!
Goh: it's my future and I can hold it in the palm of my hand
Ash: you're kinda strange aren't you goh
Goh: you're stranger
Ash: then I win
Goh: wait I take it back I'm stranger
(Y/N): then I win as I'm more normal than both of you (grins)
