Aashna's POV:
I again saw a small head pop up and i took a sigh of relief
"Come one now" he shouted and i tried to stand by the egde my legs shivered
"No i cant" i said and took a step back
"Nerd! Its fun just close your eyes and jump! Like you are diving into a pool" he said
"If you aint coming, i am not talking to you" he said and tried to use my trick on me
"Okay fine" i said and tried to make myself confident bu thinking it was a swimming pool
"I wouldn't let anything happen to you ever" he said "just jump" and i jumped closing my eyes and down within seconds i felt water splash on me
As i came up i held his hands and firmed my grasp and took a deep breath
"How was it?" He said
"Amazing! It felt as if i was flying" i said
The fear no longer engulfed me, i was with him and i was feeling safe, after swimming into the water we came out and dried ourselves in the sun and then i wore back my clothes and we both cycled back to my home
"If anything happens again with your dad, you are calling me" i said and made him promise it
He promised to call me and then he left to his home! I just sat there and adored how lovely the experience was
Even though i had to leave for springfield soon! I texted my mom to come home soon so that she can drop me and checked my louie for updates and then packed my bag, i forgot the fact that my makeup was at his house! I opened my louie and texted him
ME: hey
SANKET: (yep i changed his name from headache❤️) yo missing me this fast?
ME: stop dreaming and get my makeup box, i have to leave for springfield
SANKET: what will i get?
ME: umm nothing
SANKET: i aint doing things for free
ME: ugh fine, what do you want?
SANKET: texting as if you will give me whatever i want
ME: shut up! No filthy stuff
SANKET: fine! I need you to come with me to a party tonight
ME: what? But i am leaving for springfield today?
SANKET: thats no issue, you wont leave today!
Tomorrow is a declared holiday kindly check your louie
ME: ugh fine but still get my makeup
SANKET: cool will get it an hour before we leave for the party
SANKET's POV:
I drove to the grocery store to get some stuff for home and then i was going to pick up Aashna for a party. I gave aashna her makeup and waited in the car as she got ready and then i drove off, i didn't initiate a talk, she kept trying to talk but i had to ignore her, we reached the party place and we both got off and on the gate, Ava welcomed me with a hug and aashna was looking shocked
"Hey babe" she said to me and Aashna's eyes widened, she left inside and i had to stay with Ava! I didnt want to make her feel that i am also like her ex!
Aashna's POV:
I was very furious to see Ava get close to Sanket and at sanket for allowing it! I went to a corner and met shruti and rohan with whom i tried to mingle because sanket was apparently busy! And hence i just roamed around and saw Kabir
"Hey" he said "aint enjoying much?"he asked
"Yaa parties aren't my thing" i said now pretty annoyed that he asked me to come here in the first place
"Well sanket is with Ava" he said
"i know and i dont care" i replied casually
"Or do you?" He said handing me to fresh lime soda and i stayed quiet
"No i dont.. we are just friends" i said "And he started ignoring me" i added sipping on my lemonade now
"Well he is also messed up and only you can clean the mess he is" kabir said and i smiled
Is it that obvious that i love him? I thought to myself
"I just hope he will drop me back" i said and sat on the couch, i saw neil and becca make out on the other couch so i just get up and make my way outside, because who would wanna see that anyway.
Later that night without talking, sanket did drop me home, but i couldn't digest the fact that what happened that he suddenly stopped talking to me?
Ugh! Anyways
A FEW DAYS LATER
I have tried to talk to sanket a lot of time, but all he does is ignore me! I dont know why! And the fact that he has stopped having lunch with us or even dinner! Everytime he is just with Ava and the gang! We then had a break before class and i decied to talk to him, while he was walking, i grabbed his hand and pulled him inside a room
"Why the fuck are you ignoring me?" I said coming staright to the point
"You have to answer me" i added noticing his silence
"Because i was just playing around with you, you are such a emotional fool! Me and Ava planned this all since day1, everyone knows how you are! You really think i would talk to a nerd! Gosh no! Now this is the last time i am talking to you! Stay away from me" he said and i was shocked all the good memories flashed before my eyes as his words hit my heart
i know it wasn't true! It couldn't be! He is lying! Or is he?
I ran to the washroom and tried to calm myself down but it all just failed
Tears formed in my eyes, i quickly called shruti to come or else i would just die crying here! She saw me and hugged me tight as i weeped and consoled me, i told her everything
"No babe, that isnt true! We have all seen you guys and that you both love each other" she said "he is just lying to you"
"Why do i love the wrong guy always?" I said as i cried over my broken destiny
"I trusted that sanket was different than other but he was also the same" i said and she consoled me
Thats when i saw some footsteps outside and I probably wanted it to be Sanket! And it was him, he left as he saw me come out but it was him
"See he does care" shruti said and wiped my tears
"All he needs to realise that he loves you"
We then go for the class and in my class of course i had to meet my co captain
"Okay guys! This is a tough one this time here! Now look at this model, its a train track and now in between this train track is a car with 5 members, the husband and the wife, and three kids in which the third one is just a month old" he said "their car is stuck on the track and the train is coming towards them, now look at the lever here! If you press the lever then the train changes the track making the people in the car safe but the train will later crash into a wall killing 30 people in the train" he said "who would you save?"
"Well i would save the thirty in the train, why sacrifice the life of many" a girl said and i still continued to look at the model and at sanket
"Well now let me make it a little more difficult, the five people in the car are you parents and siblings" he said "now who would you save?"
"Of course my parents" a girl said
"But that means you will let the 30 others die?" Another one replied because it was the same girl who wanted to save 30 people before
"So, what do you want me to do? Kill my parents! Even after having a chance to save them! My parents have worked hard to send me here! I will save them at whatever cost" the girl replied back
"Well now lets make it even more difficult" he said "in the train is a 25 year old scientist who has the cure for cancer and Aids! And his research is successful, the papers and the medicines are in his bag and he is on the way to submit them" "now who would you save?"
"Well definitely the scientist, he is saving the world" one guy said
"Cant we just make a compromise?" Sanket stated and just before James could reply, i snapped in
"Life isnt always about compromises , you cant make compromises everywhere" i said
"But you should if its saving both ends! Its a win win" he said
"No, life doesnt always give you this compromise option, sometimes you have to use your brain to see the third way out" i said and turned on the train model and allowed the train to come and as it was coming, i remove the five miniature people from the car and put them behind and the train crashes into the car but moves on ahead
"James didnt say that those people were tied in the car, they can just open their door and leave and the scientist reaches safely and helps in recovery of many suffering" i said looking at sanket straight in the eye
"Well now thats how a brilliant leader should think" James said and i left the class after
(PS: this scene isnt generated by me! It was in an episode of greenhouse academy and i have just added it here! There can be various solutions and I respect it so please dont come at me! I just found the scene to be needful in the situation)
