John frowned a bit, making a show of bitting his lip, "Unfortunately.....he couldn't come down here to claim it himself, got to sick ya know....so that's why I'm here. Eli and Jack, Matt tripping over some bins earlier, have each other a look.
"Well sure, that sounds fine n dandy all that-but what's stopping us from taking all of it?"
John smiled.

The two losers nodded at each other, grinning at the amount of money the kid in front of them had won.

The shout came from behind, the irritated looking mad stood still, outstretched in his hand was a.........stick?

The man stepped around them, flicking the wooden object at them with a 'Obliviate', before facing him.
John raised his eyebrow.
"Absolutely fascinating mate, but what the hell was that?"
The black eyes of the towering man narrowed, probably annoyed, one of John's many talents.
"Magic."
"Oh....." never seen it used like that before. John then crossed his arms(mindful of the large book in his hand).

Eyes narrowed further, "You knew I was there?"

The man scowled at him.

Just finding out what sent him there, how and to get back home, pay the bugger that caused him this misfortune a favor and go back to dealing with the supposed 'rising darkness' Manny keeps losing his shit over.

If he ever meet his mum, she'd probably be tellin him that 'honesty is the best policy' herself, but since he didn't, Chaz and Zed chaperoned first the task.

Turning to where he faced John halfway, he spoke in a cold demeanor.
If mister John Fucking Constantine was an actual 10 year old-then he'd probably be a bit intimidated, but facing down demons and evil spirits for a normal schedule, he didn't care.
