Last Chapter: Promise
Simula nang naging kami ni Chubs ay palagi na siya rito sa bahay.. Wala akong pakealam dahil gusto ko din naman. I realized that what I felt with Kyle is just infatuation. What I have with Chubs is deep. I can't explain what I am feeling. I always want him to be with me. I don't want him to be with other girls. I know its not good. I just wanted to mark what's mine.
"Who's better? Me or your ex?" tanong niya noong nanood kami ng sine.. Nagsalubong ang mga kilay ko.. Kahit madilim ay kita ko pa rin ang mga namumungay niyang mata.
"Anong klaseng tanong iyan?"
"Please.."
"Ofcourse you.."
"I'm just insecure... maybe." nagkibit balikat siya at itunuon na ang pansin sa pelikula.
"Why? Why you'd feel like that?" hinawakan ko ang kamay niya nagpapahinga sa binti ko.
"He got you first... Ako dapat iyon. You should have spent all your firsts with me.." bigla akong nanlambot sa mga sinabi niya..
"Aww.. Its okay.." I caressed his hands and intertwined with mine.
"Tell me, I'll do better next time."
"You're the best, Chubs.. No need to worry.."
He always doubts himself. I don't know but he lacks confident because he was not my first boyfriend. All I did was to assure him that I am contented with what he can give. Ayokong magduda siya sa sarili niya.
"Ginagawa niya rin ba ito sayo?" tanong niya noong minsang ipinagluto niya ako ng paborito kong sinigang.
Tiningnan ko siya ng masama.
"Stop that!" bulyaw ko sa kaniya.
"I'm just.."
"I love you.." I told him for him to stop. That's what I always do to assure him that he is the one I love.
"Stop comparing.. You're the one I love okay? " napabuntong hininga siya at tumango nalang.
Minsan ay ito ang laging dahilan sa mga away namin. He always compare himself to Kyle.
"Pinupunasan mo din ba ang mga pawis niya--"
"Tumigil ka na.." sabay diin ko sa kaniya ng towel noong minsang may laro sila dito sa village namin.
"Kasi diba..."
"Chubs!! Can't you stop it! Ayoko niyan!" sabay tapon ko sa kaniya ng panyo.
"Uwi na nga lang ako! Kainis.." ramdam kong namumula na ang mukha ko sa inis sa kaniya. Padarag kong kinuha ang cellphone at tubig sa bag niya at hindi nagpaalam na umalis. Hindi ko napansin na sumunod pala siya.
"Uyy sorry na.." sabay hila niya ng kamay ko para harapin siya.
"Ilang beses ko na iyang sinabi sayo.."
"I just can't help it.."
"Don't you love me enough that you have to ask about my ex? Lagi nalang tayong ganito.. Nakakainis ka na.. Anong gusto mo? Bumalik nalang ako kay Kyle?"
"Hey, Hey.. No.. That's not what I meant. I'm sorry for making you upset" tinangka niya akong yakapin ngunit lumalayo ako.
"Kailan ka titigil ha!.. Nakakainis lang kasi!" nabasag ang boses ko sa huling sinabi.. Nagbabadya na ang mga luha ko.
"Sorry na.. Titigil na."
That is how we always end.. Kapag hindi pa ako umiyak ay hindi pa siya titigil.
I am doing my stuffs on my laptop when someone wrapped his hand around my belly. I reached his face and smiled when I saw him.
"Hmmm?" I asked him.
"Let's go out, love.. " I patted his hands and tried to break his hug.
"Alam mo namang Saturday diba. " sabi ko habang nag s-scroll ng mga articles sa laptop.
"Let's just bring them.. Enough of that." sabi niya at agad sinarado ang laptop. Napabuntong hininga nalang ako.. Okay I lose. I watched my sisters playing on the sofa.
"Are you sure?"
"As long as you're with me.." he said and kissed my cheeks.
"Okay.." umakyat ako at nagbihis ng naaayon sa gustong damit sa akin ni Chubs.
We are out today with the twins. We brought their strollers for it to be easy for us. We entered the mall.. He was pushing the twin troller while I am busy taking pictures of him..
"Do I look like a daddy now?" he chuckled.
"Not yet.. My daddy for now." I laughed with my thoughts.
"Okay, baby.." I blushed with his reply..
We entered the Kidzania and let the kids play there. We left them there and we decided to have our date.
We entered a clothing line and I decided to buy him a shirt.
"Love dito lang ako oh.." I tried to get my hands off to him.
"Diyan nalang din ako.."
"Maghanap ka kasi diyan ng para sayo.."
"Eh nahanap ko na eh.." I can't help to smile..
"Ang corny.." he just laughed and entertwined our hands tightly.
I saw a black and white shirt. The black one has a sun shape while the white one has a moon shape on it. I like it so I decided to buy it.
"Love.." tawag ko sa kaniya..
"Yes?"
"For you.." I gave him the white one. Binuksan niya ang bag at tiningnan kung ano ang nasa loob.
"Aww.. Thank you love." he said after he kissed my forehead.
"Look what I bought for my self." I showed him the black one..
"We finally had a couple shirt."
"You trully is my sunshine.." He held my waiste and decided look for a milk tea shop.
He ordered so I just waited him here from afar. I caressed the necklace he gave me. I don't have anything to wish for. As long as I have my Chubs.. he's enough.
"May gusto ka pang bilhin love?" tanong niya habang inaabot ang favorite milk tea ko.
"Wala na love.. This is enough."
"Let's go get the kids.."
"Okay.."
He held me close to him as we waited for the twins.. I don't know why he is so clingy today. He hugged me this time..
I took a picture of us in this position. I was really close to him that I almost look so small. He was smelling my hair in the picture.
"Love.. Okay ka lang? Ang clingy mo.."
"I am just showing the other boys that you are mine.." I looked around and saw some guys looking at us..
"Kahit hindi mo na gawin to sayo naman na ako.." tumingala ako para makita ang mukha niya. He bended and gave me a quick kiss. Tinampal ko ang braso niya at kumawala sa yakap niya.
"Nakakahiya.." tumawa lang siya sakto naman ang paglabas ng mga kapatid ko. They are running toward us. Chubs sat down and extended his arms to welcome my sisters. They fell down because of it. I helped them stand up dahil doon.
Chubs carried them so I am the one who is pushing the stoller.
"Kuya I baked a cup cake today.." pagmamayabang ni Farah.
"Really?? How does it taste?"
"It taste awful" sagot ni Dainah. Hinampas ni Farah si Dainah..
"Hey.." kinuha ko nalang si Dainah at baka umiyak pa.
"Ate it really taste bad.." I wiped her sweats and nodded to her..
"Okay.. I'll teach you better soon.." I tried to put her sa stroller but she doesn't like it.
"Ate carry me.."
"OhmyGod. Okay.." I struggled when I lifted her because of the belt.. Mabuti nalang at kinuha iyun ni Chubs.
We decided to eat on the nearest fast food chain on our area. The girls are still arguing with each other. They are still insisting that their work was better than each other.
We asked assistance for the high chairs we need the moment we entered.
"Anong sayo love? Ako na mag oorder." Chubs said after he put Farah.
"Mag rice ata ako.. Pasta nalang sa kanila." tumango lang siya at umalis na.
Hindi nagtagal ay nakabalik na din si Chubs. Marami ang dala niya kaya sinalubong ko siya at ako na ang nagdala ng isang tray.
"Thank you love.."
"Chicken!!" masiglang bati ng dalawa.
"Its mine.. You'll have pasta for today" nilapag ko sa harap nila ang kanilang pagkain. They quickly grabbed the fork and started to make mess.
Paminsan minsan kong pinupunasan ang bibig at kamay ng mga kapatid ko dahil nalalagyan ito ng sauce. Napansin ko ring sinasadya ni Chubs na lagyan ng kanin ang bibig niya..
"Love.." banta ko sa kaniya. Ngumiti lang siya at inilapit ang mukha sa akin. Kumuha naman ako ng tissue para punasan ito. Matapos ay binigyan niya ako ng mabilis na halik.. I pursed my lips because of it.
"Para kang 3 years old na baby.."
"Baby mo.." agad ko siyang hinampas sa balikat..
"Tumigil ka na! Kumain ka.."
Natapos kaming kumain na parang tatlong bata ang kasama ko. May isa kasing feeling bata na nagpapapansin din. Dumaan muna kami sa grocery bago kami tuluyang umuwi. Iniwan na ni Chubs ang stoller sa sasakyan dahil ayaw naman nilang sumakay dito.
"Kuya carry me.." sabay abot ni Dainah ng kamay niya kay Chubs. Dainah is really more clingy than the other one.
"Antok na po?" tanong ko dito. Di niya lang ako pinansin at nagtago na sa balikat ni Chubs.
"Farah get another one. You have to buy for Dainah too." tamad siyang bumalik sa tsokolateng gusto niya.
"Okay po mommy" kutya ni Chubs.. Sinungitan ko lang siya.
Pauwi na kaming may dalawang plastic bag na dala. Buhat buhat niya pa rin si Dainah na malalim na ang hilik.
Buhat ko ang isang plastic habang ang isang kamay magkahawak kamay kay Chubs. He always likes to hold my hands.
"I want to have twins too, love.." napatigil ako sa pag aayos ng seatbelt ko.
"Ilan ba ang gusto mo" pabiro kong balik sa kaniya.
"Kung ilan ang gusto mo.."
"I will give you everything. " I chuckled as I fix my seatbelt.
"No.. I will give you everything, love." he replied.
I looked at him intently. This is the man I want. The man I waited. The man I will not be tired to love. My mystery poet.. My man.. My everything..
"I love you, love.." sabi niya sabay halik sa likod ng kamay ko.
"I love you too, love."
May bibigay siya sa aking envelope.
I couldn't ask for more.
I will be your forever armour.
I will protect and love you.
That's a promise and I will make it true.
