"Derek, stop!" You yelled as you boyfriend, Derek pulled your hand almost dislocating it out of its socket.
"You bitch!" He yelled, slapping you.
"W- what did I do?" You asked while trying to hold in your tears due to the sting from his slap.
"How many times do I have to tell you to stay away from that boy, Shawn." He spits out.

That was a lie, you had a teeny tiny crush on Shawn but of course you wouldn't want Derek to know that.

You looked around, "Uh, between 24th and 25th."

Shawn nodded and drove you to his place while squeezing you hand. When you get there he opened your door for you and led you inside and told you to sit down.
"Do you want some tea?" He asked, already walking to his kitchen.

He made some tea and handed it over to you. "Are you alright."
You nodded, placing the cup of the barely sipped tea on the table.
"Y/N, what he did to you was wrong and no girl deserves something like that. A girl like you deserves a gentleman." He said, placing a comforting hand on your shoulder.
