Diamond's P.O.V☆
I wasnt sure weather i had to tell David that i knew where the lost money was hidden, or was it better if i kept it to myself? No,
Me and david might have not been in our greatest terms but i was willing on telling him, we killed jerome together, we had children, we been through hell and back... together.
And i know my mistake was silly but as silly as it was it was also a small one.
So i was going to make him talk to me
Now, or never.
I took a deep breath in and entered the house with cassie
"So what did Alex say" she asked
"He just had a heart attack and two days later they confirmed his death" i mumbled
Cassie walked over to the wine cellar and opened up a crystal bottle of bourbon.
"You need so-"
"No, i want to see isaac and troy and i've had enough drinking" i whispered shaking my head at her offer.
"Suit yourself" she shrugged
I walked towards the nursery
"D your back" june said before i entered
I turned around and smiled at him
"Yep"
"Hows your friend doing?"
"Not good obviously"
"Im sorry for your loss"
"Its okay, wheres theo?"
"Shes out with paris and trish, david asked them to go baby shopping" he replied
"We running out or something?" I asked
"No, but.. actually i think you should talk to him" june said shaking his head
I awkwardly nodded and waved goodbye at him.
I took a deep breath in once again and opened the door.
Troy was on davids chest i could recognise his hair from a mile away, it was curlier than isaacs.
both david and troy were fast asleep.
Isaac wasn't there.
But the moment i opened the door i startled david which made him get up and rub his eyes.
"Hey"
"Your back now!" David chuckled, his voice was a husky drawl.
I nodded
He got up carefully laying troy down
"Wheres isaac?" I asked
"Before you ask, whos death was it?"
"You wouldnt know"
"What makes you think that"
"Can we not do this now!!"
"So when is it ever the right time for you diamond?"
"David im sorry okay, i cant do nothing more than that"
He took a deep breath in
"You should know my workers at the airport told me a jet landed yesterday.. they said a fancy woman came out along with a man who fits the description of tucci. there's hardly any jets landing here so..."
"What! Your not telling me.."
He nodded
"Their here, and i dont have time to be arguing with you"
I ran my fingers through my hair in panick.
"Relax, they have about 10 people with them, its pathetic" he said shaking his head.
"A fucking psycopath" i mumbled underneath my breath
"Wheres isaac?" I continued
"He is with nick upstairs"
I let out a sigh of relief
Me and david stood there in plain silence as we stared at eachother.
All of a sudden david started to move back and forth really slow as if he was about to faint or something
"Are you okay" i asked him
He nodded
"You been smoking?"
He shook his head
"Ight let me get you some water" i sighed
I left the room and began walking towards the kitchen
I stopped walking as soon as i heard a loud thud.
"David!!"
I turned back around and ran inside the nursery room
David was on the floor
"CASSIE COME HERE" i yelled.
In a rush i could hear nick coming from upstairs and cassie making her way towards me.
"What happe-"
"DAVID!?" she yelled as she slapped him across his face to wake him up.
Tears began coming out of my eyes.
What the hell?!
I turned my back for a second.!
"Ill call the family doc" nick nervously said as he put isaac in my arms
He was wide awake, babbling and slapping anything in his sight.
"What happend d!" Cassie yelled
"I dont know i turned my back for a second and he just...!"
He just fainted
The doctor softly shutt the door.
Both me and cassie quickly stood up
"When did you say he was in a comma?" He asked
"I dont know, weeks ago almost a month" i replied
"When he woke up did you check him at a hospital so they could check his vitals?" The doctor firmly glared
Me and cassie exchanged looks.
"No!!" Cassie whispered
"Ive been working for jeromes family for a while, David has been diagnosed with Syncope.. its a loss of consciouss amd muscle strenght, you will need to get a certain medicine from the pharmacy that ive prescribed on this piece of paper" he said as he gave us the paper.
How stupid were we?
Ofcourse it was a miracle that david woke up while i was giving birth but we didnt even bother to check him in a hospital??
"David has been getting this headaches for a while, but he told me everything was fine and i didnt need to mention it to anyone.. i didnt know it was that serious" nick said
"What!? Always trynna play the fucking hero" cassie mumbled.
She was right, he didnt always have to dump all the stress and shit on himself.
But i was probably causing all these hedaches
"Ill leave now, call me if anything happens... also, let him rest" he said
We all nodded and watched him walk out
"So now what?"
"Ill go check on him" i whispered.
I tilted the knob and walked in the room, he was lying down.. his eyes wide awake as he stared into space.
I sat beside him
"Why wouldnt you tell me you had syncope" i asked him
"I didnt think it was that serious"
I shook my head
"So now what?"
He tried to sit up but struggled.
"We kill nova and tucci" he shrugged
"With the state your in?" I laughed
"Ive been shot multiple times, i think i can handle one more thing"
"Stop pushing yourself, you have kids now" i whispered
"Kids i have to protect"
"You know what! This isnt going to work out if we keep having disagreements"
"You right"
We stood in silence shooting glares at eachother.
"So now what?" I huffed
"We friends?"
My eyes widened and i began nodding.
"Doesn't mean i forgot"
I rolled my eyes
"You just had to ruin it"
I walked towards him and gave him a hug, he burried his head on my shoulder as i could feel the spikes of his beard.
"Sorry for kissing Damon"
"His dead anyway" he replied
"What??!"
He suspiciously looked at me
"Why do you care?"
"I- i don't... its just" i stammered.
"Just what? He tried to kill you.. remeber.."
"Yeah your right" i said taking a deep breath in.
"Sorry for inviting your mom here"
"When are they coming by the way?" I sighed
"Im thinking today, los diamantes negros can be our backup.. im not sure how many of the saints will come" he shrugged
"Ill call uncle mar and ask"
I sat closer to him and squeezed his body really tight against mine.
Atleast our little brawl was over.
But not for long
As always.
There wasnt a day in this life were we both breathed air for long.
And with nova ross in harlem.
It was just like an itch in the ass you couldn't quite reach.
Its the anger that you know the itch is there.
"Even with the syncope going on, once we get rid of nova and tucci. I promise ill get you the best medical attention you need, okay?"
He laughed
"Seriously, D im okay!"
"We need to get troy and isaac away from here.." i told him.
"cassie can stay with them at the lakehouse back in seattle with a few bodyguards." He suggested.
I nodded.
"As long as nova doesn't touch them ill be fine"
The ass itch was already in harlem.
"One more thing david."
"What"
"I know where the lost money is from the brotherhood of five"
He widened his eyes
"How, who told you?"
"Mr.raj left it in a letter for me, turns out my dad hid it this whole time" i answered
"Well were is it?"
"In my old house"
"Damn that changes everything, tucci has been after the money all these years, if we let the saints keep it, i wont have to sleep with an eye open" he shrugged
"No, the money is ours.. and we should kill them David, you never know when a mf might switch up"
"Diamond, i have all the money in the world, how will the lost money change anything?"
I hesitated
"Okay fine, call tucci and lets go get the money"
"I was going to anyway"
I rolled my eyes.

DAVID'S P.O.V
"Okay, we go there. We get the money then we leave!" I whispered as soon as i entered the car
I started the engine and looked through the mirror to check if there was a car parked behind me.
"I told you to stay at home and rest" diamond sighed as she sat in the passengers seat.
"And i told you stop stressing, you gon' get older quicker"
"Black dont crack"
"Well your black done cracked" i chuckled.
"Drive.."
I stepped on the pedal faster than i was before, the window was rolled down which allowed the cold air to hit my face.
It felt good
"So what did tucci say?"
"He agreed, we give them the money and their gonna go back to houston" i shrugged.
"Id really like to see nova face to face" d pouted as she crossed her arms
"You dont want to add fuel to a fire"
"Nigga i am the fire" she mumbled cracking a smile.
I laughed as i made a left turn
"Hows your friend alex holding up?"
"I don't know, i should really call her" she frowned.
"Your not the only one that needs to call someone, haven't heard of keisha or lia in a while"
"Facts, were did they fleed to?"
"Keisha never said, i told her we killed jerome and she took lia with her" i answered
"The mara salvatrucha mafia leader not being able to locate two people" diamond scoffed.
"If she doesnt wanna be found then shes not gonna be found"
I drove down to diamond's neighbourhood until i reached her flat.
I parked my car near the convinience store that was open for 24 hours
"Pass me the spare key"
I handed it over to her.
I took a better look at her, i bet that nigga damon was punching the air in hell right now.
I laughed at my own thought
"Whats funny?" She asked
"Nun" i answered.
"Okay lets go"
I left the car and opened the door for her, we both walked towards the flat as i waited for diamond to open the door
As soon as we walked inside we headed to the elevator and pressed number 3
"This elevator hella slow" i said shaking my head
"A few kicks and its good as new" she shrugged kicking the metalic door.
"You stupid?"
"What, you afraid of getting stuck in a elevator with me?" She laughed
"Fasho, you annoying as fuck" i replied
She nudged me.
"Who you think will be gangster, isaac or troy?" I asked
"isaac, he just like you"
"If anything they both like you, agressive and calm at the same time"
"Mhm yeah you got a point"
The elevator finally reached floor three and automatically opened its doors.
We stepped out and walked at the very end of the hallway and into diamonds old door.
"So were is it?" I asked as soon as she picked the lock
The house wasn't in bad conditions, there was still belongings of hers that i recognised from the old times i used to break into her house and pay her visits with flaco
"In my old room, come" she beckoned.
The moment we entered her room, she moved her bed aside and began ripping the floorboards right from the ground
"The letter said it was underneath the same floorboard my baby crib was ontop of, but i dont remeber exactly where it used to be located" diamond said walking around.
"We not about to lift all these floorboards, right?" I asked
"Well you could start of by helping me"
I began copying what she was doing, cobwebs and dust flying everywhere like birds
I wasn't bothered but diamond on the other hand was.
"Hurry i wanna get out of this place" she coughed.
"Damn shordy, you good?"
"No there's bugs everywhere"
I laughed
I walked towards the wardrobe area and pushed it forward.
I went behind it and crouched down to the floor, pulling the wood floor board from the ground.
The moment i heard the cracking sound i lowered my arm inside til' i felt some sort of box.
"I think i found something"
Diamond ran towards me and tied her hair back
"Pull it out"
I put both my arms inside and pulled the box out.
It wasn't as heavy as i hoped it to be.
Diamond took over and put the box infront of her.
She opened the box and let out a gasping sound, putting her hands through her curls.
My blood instantly began to boil
Someone must of gotten here before us, because, The money wasn't there.
