Brianna was with her mother, getting ready to be wed.

John had left earlier, just as he had yesterday.

The morning went just as it was supposed to, and Brianna was beginning to get nervous.

"It's going to be fine, Brianna! John will treat you right!"

"I know! I'm not worried about that! I just— am I too young to love?"

Her mother cupped her face.

"No dear, if you know you love him, then you love him."

Brianna smiled. "Thanks mom. Now can you help me put on my dress?"

"Of course!" And she ran off to get it.

Eva had come back this morning, not recalling being kidnapped by Noah.

Brianna has chosen light colors for her makeup, to match her dress.

Her mother had done her hair in a simple flowing braid, with flowers scattered through it.

When her mother returned with the dress, it took them about 10 minutes to get it on properly.

Brianna made her mother tighten the corset as tight as she could make it, so she looked extra skinny.

Just then, Keith burst into the room. "Oh my! I'm very sorry dear!"

"Keith!" Brianna screamed. "What the hell! You aren't supposed to see me yet! God, please don't tell John!"

"Well John told me to come up here! And you look stunning love." Keith smiled.

Brianna calmed. "Thank you Keith."

"Y'know I forgot what I came up here for.... John just keeps going on about how happy he is to be with you, and all that and I just had to leave! Not that I don't love you, my dear! But it was getting incessant."

Brianna giggled. "Aww Keith, you know I'm glad you're a part of this family."

Keith almost blushed. "Well, I must say, I do bring the party!"

Brianna laughed.

"Well I'd better be off! John will notice I'm gone!"

"Good luck Keith!"

"You too, my dear." He said, and blew her a kiss.

Brianna smiled. Keith was a truly brilliant man.

John had told her of Keith's struggle with alcohol and near death experience with pills in 1978.

That made her respect him even more.

John had picked her a bouquet of flowers to carry down the aisle, that was sitting on her dresser.

She picked it up and looked in the mirror.

She looked stunning. Her mother was behind her, barely holding it together.

"Oh mom, don't cry! We have ten minutes to go!"

"I know! I know! Just give me a minute!"

Eva appeared in the doorway. "Hey! You gotta go, now!" She said breathlessly.

Brianna squealed. "Come on mom!"

The walked down the stairs and behind the house, so the wedding goers wouldn't see her.

She heard the music playing and started walking towards the aisle.

Everything seemed like a blur, up until she got to the altar.

John smiled at her and took her hands.

They exchanged vows, and the priest gave the I do's.

When all of it was said and done, he said, "I now pronounce you, husband and wife! You may kiss the bride!"

John looked into Brianna's eyes and kissed her.

Brianna hugged John tightly as tears spilled down her face.

John finally pulled away and took her hand.

"I love you, Brianna."

"Oh John! I love you too!" Brianna cried.

Her mother was the first to stand up and clap.

Then her father, and then everyone else.

Brianna turned to Keith, who was on John's right, and hugged him.

"Thank you for being here, Keith. It means a lot to both of us."

"Of course! I wouldn't miss it for anything!"

After the party had filed out, they all piled into John's beautifully large house.

John and Keith had stayed behind in the gardens after pictures, telling Brianna they'd meet her in a moment.

"Keith, I just wanted to say that you're the best friend anyone could ever ask for." John said after Brianna had gone.

"Aw Johnny! No need to get all sappy! I already knew that!"

"I'm serious Keith."

"John, I'm glad I can be there for you. And it's the least I can do after you practically saved me from death."

John hugged his friend. "Thank you for coming Keith."

"Anything for your happiness, mate."

They walked back up to the house to find Brianna.

John found her with Pete and Roger.

"Ahh and there's the man now!" Pete announced.

Brianna turned around with the biggest smile on her face, and John's heart swelled.

She ran to him and leaped into his arms.

"Oh Johnny! I'm so happy!" She cried.

John held her tightly. "Me too, my love. I could never ask for more."

Brianna touched his cheek and brought him in for a kiss.

"I love you John."

"I love you too Brianna." John smiled.

Pete and Roger were just standing behind them, watching.

"You two are way too cute!" Pete gushed. "If only Karen still loved me that much!"

Roger chuckled. "I'm so happy for you John! I remember how torn up about Alison you were, so I'm glad Brianna here agreed to make this as happy a marriage as it is."

John grinned and pulled Brianna closer to him. "I am too. It seemed ominous at the beginning, but really turned out to be beautiful."

They continued to chat until Brianna's father came over and asked for Brianna to dance with him.

He pulled her onto the dance floor and spun her around.

"Are you happy, luv?" He asked her.

She beamed. "I've never been more happy, daddy. Thank you so much."

They finished the dance, and the next song had started to play.

John walked over and tapped Brianna's father on the shoulder.

"Excuse me sir, but, may I have my princess for this dance?"

Her father chuckled. "Why of course!"

And he handed Brianna to John.

They danced and danced, all night long, until everyone had gone.

They were the last ones there, except for the DJ, who refused to leave until he had satisfied the dancing couple.

Once they were slowing down, and out of breath, they sat at a nearby table and looked at each other.

"Have you had a good day, luv?" John asked Brianna.

"Oh the best! I could have never asked for a better wedding!" She said excitedly.

John chuckled and took her hand. "Ready to head back?"

"Yes, I think so."

And with that, they walked back up to the house.

Brianna had never slept so soundly or happily in her life.

With John's arms wrapped around her and his warm breath at her neck, she had never been happier.

But things could only get better from here.
