It was a cool night on kronest not freezing but comfortable.
The two lovebirds cuddled in Sabine's room and outside on the balcony Ursa was in a confused state. With her cup of coffee the subject bothered her of telling her side to why her clan was disgusted at Bridger the first time they met. The reasons back to the clone wars a different time. In the distance a cold wind blew across the lake followed by the sound of the door opening and bo katan by her side. "Bo katan what is it?" Ursa asked, as the leader sat on the railing. "Remember the promise the guardians made when the empire came to power?" Bo katan asked, "yeah I was bitter towards Ezra when we first meet him." Ursa replied, "yeah but he's heard nothing of the promise from his folks himself and Sabine informed me they were killed after his transmission." Bo katan replied sadly. "How'd they die?" Ursa asked, "they were in prison as civilians." Bo katan replied softly. Thinking about her sister Duchess Satine. "Some of the best fighters to die as civilians just sounds wrong." Ursa muttered, "it was to protect their linage from the sith and from talking with commander Reznov there are others out there but the Bridger blood line has always been the main leaders of segment and I bet a few rebel cells were lead by guardians in a civilian manor , they kinda specialize in espionage." Bo Katan said followed by a chuckle. "These guardians are full of surprises!" Ursa huffed slightly annoyed in the news. "Let's go back in the sparing room I heard Ezra has been tinkering again." Ursa commented both women leaving the cool planet.
Inside the sparing room Ezra adjusted his new gautlents he's been building over the course of the war after Endor. "So Ezra what you plan these for." Sabine asked sitting beside him inspecting one of them. On them was a barrel of some sort and projectiles around the wrist. Once turned in Ezra's hand he attached it where his usual one was but this one was built for the guardians in mind. "What are these made out of?" Sabine asked examining the cylinder pointed rounds in a box. "Vibranium rounds and I installed different settings for the rounds and use." Ezra responded as he put on a metal bad that wrapped around his ear. He picked up one of the rounds and charged the guatlent. "Non lethal, kinetic." Ezra said calmly which the round programs itself for that purpose. Tristan unfortunately was the target for this test that he been watching this project come to surface. "Hey Tristan the's are non lethal mind being the target." Ezra yelled out. "Fine but if you kill me Ursa is gonna gut you Bridger." Tristan responded with. Within seconds of the reply he was thrown on the ground with only a small whoosh the place of origin being the wrist guatlents. Ezra and Sabine ran up to Tristan which was knocked out from the impact of the little round. A few seconds later Tristan woke up. "What the hell was that!" Tristan gripped on the ground as Ezra picked up the little round. "It works for that one but I installed a variety of functions in these bad boys, one I'm most definitely interested in Is the armor piercing one." Ezra said examining the round for dents but Sabine looked on her brothers chest plate to find a small ding perfectly circle in it. "Uh Ez it dented the baskra armor." Sabine said nervously and in awe.
"WHAT!" Bo katan yelled followed by Ursa with "WHAT THE FUCK ARE YOU TALKING ABOUT!" Both women surprised. "Uh I created a guatlent pairing out of a old guardian project I discovered in between battles due to travel time." Ezra answered sheepishly rubbing the back of his head nervously. Both women stormed over to look at the debt sure enough a small dent in them.
"How!" Ursa demanded Ezra for answers, "mother please relax a little bit please." Sabine begged which both women relaxed a little bit. "Through intel and during the two decades Reznov and the fleet were out in the unknown they cane across vibranium on asteroids, it was a objective my mother gave to the fleet before separating from them." Ezra answered remembering his mother making note of the unknown metal they came across by luck during the clone wars. "Keep going." Bo katan demanded making a circling hand motion. "My father was designing these during the war but never came to finishing till now." Ezra answered nervously. Ursa looked the young man over he showed no hostile intent 'this development will shatter the galaxy.' Ursa thought worried about the potential of in the wrong hands. "Does anyone else have this metal?" Bo katan asked with venom. "No the Empire never came across it and by my information only we do." Ezra responded ,Sabine and Tristan watching it.
"Why develop such devices?" Ursa asked curiously now knowing the resource was secure. "Post Endor we encountered some Saxon members working with slavers and my men had to get in close to eliminate them silently... talk about trying to wake up a hornets nest." Ezra commented back. Bo katan rubbed her chin thinking about how the Wookiee's home world was liberated stealth was one thing guardians were good at she remembered new republic rumors of a team that was able to quietly dispose of a whole out post without raising the Alarm. Ursa was thinking of they possibly could acquire this for their clans needs but that would be up for discussion later. "So Is that the lethal setting?" Ursa asked curiously. "No it's the non lethal kinetic energy, I got a mix and match on the lethals such as APEI (Armor piercing , explosive , incendiary)." Ezra responded with a cheeky grin. "Wait you're saying those little cylinders can penetrate baskra and explode inside the target." Tristan asked with little worry. "Yes but I can choose my options and no I'm not letting anyone else on them and I don't attend to use them on my girlfriends people, I'm a man who would rather have multiple aces up my sleeve then one and I have a feeling I'll be running into more saxons eventually." Ezra said followed by kissing his girlfriend on the cheek which she blushed madly.
"Now I'm jealous of you sabine your boyfriend makes all sorts of interesting weapons and I miss out." Bo katan replied playfully hurt. "What can you say a artist is very particular in her art work." Sabine said with a light laugh to it. "Well Bridger hopefully later then sooner we'll see them in action but We'd like to discuss some events we know of in the library." Ursa requested kindly. "We'll join you shortly mother." Sabine said watching Tristan , bo katan and Ursa leave before turning to Ezra. "Since when did my boyfriend become a weapons engineer?" She said seductively but he had no time to react as she pulled him into a passionate kiss.
Eventually hot caf and tea filled the studies of the Wren library. Sabine sat on Ezra's arm rest the couple sharing a cup of caf, Tristan taking out his old pistols and wiping them down again and bo katan and Ursa propped their feet up on foot rest. "We told Tristan most of what happened with the guardians at the siege of mandalore." Ursa informed Ezra, "and we fought along side one of your folks who saved countless lives by their actions during the landings." Bo katan said remembering how the effectiveness of the guardian squad was. "But sadly things don't change one door closes another opens possibly worse for the future." Alrich wren said walking in stirimg his tea.
"Maul was on the run, Almech was in our custody , from what we were told by clones in the battle your parents squad were eliminating escape routes for the shadow collective." Bo katan said

"You brought the wrong Jedi." Almech said smugly. "Ashoka it's a trap!" I called out but no response.
Back to present
"We didn't know the guardians were eliminating forces in route to the trap, that gave Ashoka a better chance against Maul but I don't understand why they didn't intervene." Bo said somewhat frustrated. "We try to stay in the dark the special forces to the galaxy and a galactic war like the clone wars was massive already." Ezra stated , "Your parents military would've caught the attention of the Jedi council and eventually sidious." Ursa said thinking on it. "We had sent Maul with Ashoka but a occupation force remained temporarily we hoped." Bo katan said
Post siege of mandalore
Ursa pov
"So when do you think the war will end now since one sith in custody?" I asked Bo, "I'm just glad my people are safe from that monster." Bo replied as a trooper ran up to me. "Ma'am you need to see this lower levels." The clone requested as a LAAT swung around and touched down with two more troopers inside. "This must be important if they're sending us with two ARCs." Bo said putting her helmet on and boarded the gun ship.
The gun ship descended into the lower levels of the city where two squads secured a area. As we unloaded, "it's a massacre in there." A trooper stated. When we entered the bodies of the crime syndicates and Saxons forces were strung through the building. As we slowly stepped over them we noticed the precision of blades contact points. "We don't know who done this." I brought up but bo was thinking.

"I should've realized it was the handy work of the guardians before but the siege was the first time we actually encountered them in person." Bo katan said pondering on those events. "But they would appear at the right time it seems." Ursa replied back.
Back to the under level
As the rest of the clones entered they raised their blasters at us, we couldn't responded fast if we needed to. Out of no where blaster shots rang out taking them all out. With our hands in the air we turned to see the troopers all but eliminated and black armored figures descending on our position by grappling cable.
Once the armor came into view it was the guardian general they meet earlier. "Miss Kyez and madam wren." The armored black figure said as he popped a few blaster bolts in the bodies. "Why'd you save us?" I asked, "things have changed a great darkness covers the galaxy, we need to move." The figure said calmly. As he came into the light I remembered who it was. "Guardian right?" I asked to be sure. "Yes ma'am we gotta move, take these." The commander says tossing them each a suppressed D17 pistol.
The group moved out avoiding patrols and gun ships in the air. With hand signals we were guided through a burning building followed by the section on fire caving in crashing through the ceilings of other floors. Jumping across roofs no jet packs we came to a view over looking the docks. Civilians were being rounded up and warriors were forced to toss their weapons down and separated from the civilians. "Mandalore warriors a new era has set upon your planet, the galactic empire by emporer papaltine himself ending the Clone War." A figure in republic intelligence uniform yelled over. "Why should we listen to you!" A civilian yelled in anger. With one hand raised gun ships opened their side doors and mounted laser cannons opened fire on the true Mandalorions gunning them down. Some tried to flee to fight another day but were shot by clones on the street.
"The republic stands no more but our time will come to free the galaxy from these monsters." The guardian leader said in a sad tone. We were powerless and could only watch.
