A feminine voice called, making me snap my attention to the doorway. Luna's friend stood there, her both hands clasped together as she figldgeted with them nervously.
I pursed my lips in an attempt to smile but my efforts proved futile.
"Y-you called for me "
She stammered. I wasn't sure if she was still scared of me, I mean, I did scared her shitless last time so there was no doubt
"Yh, I called for you "
My voice came out husky
"Please change what she's wearing " I gestured to my mate's unconscious figure and stood up, walking to my closet, I searched for an oversized t-shirt and found one. I wallked back and placed it on the bed next to her. The girl still stood at where she stood, the doorway.
I sighed and crouched down next to my mate, placing a kiss on her forehead and burrying my face in the crook of her neck to inhale her sweet scent. For a reason, that scent always calms me down.
I stood up and began to walk to the doorway, seeing the girl tense as she shuffled to step aside.
After walking pass her to the doorway, I stopped abruptly and spoke with my back facing her.
"I'm sorry for last time"
I could literally see her eyes widen at my utterance
"You don't need to be afraid of me , I won't hurt you "
With that I walked away and closed the door behind me. Forcing my hands into my pocket, I walked bare footed through the halls near the railing. I rounded the corner and came face to face with the staircase. I scanned the entire Hall filled with her pack brothers, the witches and the rest of my hyungs. I was about to descend until the main door freaked opened. Taehyung strolled in, locking eyes with me. Another person strolled behind him. The face of Pia immediately sent some fire through me. The fire settled in my head as I glared at her as she tried to look down instead of my face
I clenched my fist so tight that my nails dug into my palm.
I started seeing red, my nose flared. I could feel my fangs elongating and the veins appearing all over my body
"K-Kook"
A ferocious growl made its way through my lips, watching everyone started to tense at my actions.
I ignored them and watched her fearlessly emerge from behind Taehyung, trying to use her bitchy acts to lure me. She probably though I would never hurt her.
I mentally laughed at her.
Right now, I was out to kill, my mind was blank and I was blood thirsty.
The memory of my mate in that condition didn't help my mental state at all.
Her moving from behind Taehyung made her an easy target, with my fast speed I appeared right before her in the blink of an eye. Her eyes went wide in fear, my body was shaking furiously
"J-jung--"
I didn't let her finish and growled again.
I wrapped my fingers around her neck and began to strangle her.
She yelped as I lifted her up with a single arm
"Jung--"
"Shut.The fuck up, don't. Let my name out of that dirty mouth of yours "
I growled
"JUNGKOOK THAT'S ENOUGH! "
Taehyung yelled at me.
My head snapped to his direction.
I flashed him my red eyes and growled at him not to come near.
Turning my head back to Pia whose face had turned red as she struggled to breath, I tightened my hold on her. I had gone rabid, I didn't know the difference between right and I didnt care.Anger, rage was all I could feel .
Her hands had wrapped around my wrist , trying to get me to release her.
I dreaded her touch so I growled at her, seeing tears making their way down her face.
"Jung--kook"
Growling at her annoying voice, I threw her to the far end of the Hall.
She crashed with the wall and screamed, her coughing blood wasn't enough for me. The wall cracked.
"Don't CALL MY NAME! "
I screamed and rushed to her,slamming my fist on the wall next to her head. She screamed making me grin. She was lucky I intentionally missed my target.
I shook my head in dissatisfaction and wrapped my hands around her neck. I began to use my abilities on her. I get the heat radiating through me until it settled in my palm and then, her neck began to burn. Screams of her agony filled the air. I was burning her neck until someone tried to pull my arm. With just a single yank, I sent the person stumbling backwards. The kind of growl that came from behind me was clear of we hope I just pushed. Taehyung growled from behind me
I didn't spare him any glance , my concentration was deeply on Pia who was screaming. Lifting her up again, I finally released her by throwing her towards the staircase. An ear piercing scream came from her as she hit the metallic rail. The metal got bent at where she hit and she broke into cries. That sound didn't satisfy me, she was a vampire, she could handle pain more than my poor mate.
I wanted to hurt her till she passes out or ends up lying in the pool of her own blood , that way, my thirst will be quenched, if I see it to be equal with my mate's condition.There was screaming coming from those in the living room but it was distant. I was engulfed in what I was doing to her and the reason why they aren't stopping me was because they know not to mess with me when I pass fury to being raged.
"YOU HURT MY MATE! "
This time I was walking towards her.
"HOW DARE YOU?! "
"I WARNED YOU PIA! I WARNED NOT TO TOUCH HER "
She whimpered as she tried to sit up
"But you didn't, and because of you... S-she almost died no, "
"She died "
My voice cracked
"Jungkook that's enough "
"Shut up Yoongi hyung, this is none of any of your businesses"
I snarled at him, glancing at all of their faces and back to Pia, who had managed to sit up clutching onto her neck.
She sniffled as I glared back her unaffected, watching her body shaking like a chihuahua
That didn't affect me in any way, the pain she's feeling in comparison what my mate felt was nothing.
"I'm sorry "
I was supposed to get taken aback by the fact that Pia has said those two words for the first time in her life, I was supposed to see the regret in her eyes but no, I wasn't showing mercy.
"You are sorry? "
I asked, not believing her.I didn't give two shits about her cries.
"Oh Pia, you can cry a river of tears and I swear, I will build a fucking titanic ship and sail across it"

I hissed

Watching her nod made me laugh maniacally, my laughter was half hearted ,echoing through the house .
"Sorry? Sorry can't bring back the fact that you hurt her "
"Sorry! CAN'T BRING HER OUT OF UNCONSCIOUS AN YOU EXPECT ME TO ACCEPT YOUR STUPID APOLOGY?! "

My head turned to Taehyung
He had his eyes closed, his head thrown back as he spoke, as if trying to calm himself down.
"That's enough "
He said monotonously with a sharp exhale.
"Stay out of my business"
I warned, turning my attention back to Pia. I see she had gotten the energy to stand up then.
"She doesn't deserve you "
Pia said lowly
"Really? "
I asked with a smirk
"Yes"
There was silence
"I see"
I could see the gleam in her eyes with my calm words.
Stupid girl
"Let's see if you'd want me after this " Her excitement faded to a frown
"What are--"
She didn't finish her statement and I was making her scream in pain. I used one of my abilities to cause pain without touching on her. That thing I once used on my mate. It can kill and it hurts like bitch. It feels as if you are being ripped on the inside.
And I was enjoying it. I love to use it, it calms my anger.
Pia had collapsed to her knees, hugging her body a she cried in agony
"How... How does it feel Pia?"
I doubled her pain and took a step towards her.
"Jungkook"
I ignored Jin hyung
"Does it hurt? "
"HOW DOES PAIN FEEL?! "
"It hurts right? "
I chuckled
"This is nothing, this is me , I can kill you without a second thought "
"When will you understand that I don't. Want. You. You will not challenge my mate from now onwards "

She wasn't replying. I knew if this kept on for a while longer, she'd be dead but I wasn't going to stop until she submitted to me and replied.
Her screams had faded to whimpers
"Got it! "

I got pushed harshly on the chest sending me flying back.
I didn't fall or collide with any wall, I just stop myself from fall
Mashing my jaws together, I stood up straight with my head tilted to stare at Taehyung who was fuming as he glared at me.
"I told you to stay out of this. I will forgive what you just did. Just move "
I commanded blankly

I glared and rushed to him

I gestured to Pia

I sneered

Suddenly he burst into fits of laughter, half heartedly.
"Your mate? "
I furrrowed my brows at him
"Do you even have the right to call her that ? You never treated her like one, YOU HATED HER JEON FUCKING JUNGKOOK"
"If there is anyone to be blamed for her condition... "
He pointed his finger at me
"Then it's you "
I averted my gaze elsewhere, knowing very well he was right... Everything was my fault.
"You treated her like crap, there were times to show her that you cared but no... "

"HOW THE ACTUAL HECK DO YOU THINK THAT'S WAS SOMEONE'S FAULT?! "
My head turned to him
"And why the hell are you suddenly acting concerned about all these?! "
I retorted angrily
"Yes, I hated her!I didn't want her but I never tried to kill her ! I alwaysd felt somehow concerned for her but I was too much of a coward to know or admit! "
His face softened at my words
"Now... Now I know how I feel about her. NOW I WANT HER! "
I didn't know what I was saying till I said the last part because everyone seemed taken aback by my words. I didn't care again, no it now or not when I know my feelings for her.
I am going to be the mate I'm supposed to be, I'll do everything to have her to forgive me.
And I mean, everything
It went silent after that.
"So now, why? "
Taehyung looked up at me

This time I slammed my fist on his chest causing him to stumble back

I slammed it again and he stumbled back

He raised his voice

He gulped hardly, running a hand through his hair and pulling into them

A third party being Namjoon hyung completed his statement
My gaze, I mean all gazes snapped to him. He was leaning against the wall with a grin on his face

My voice cracked, totally shocked by the news
"Namjoon how did you know? "
Jin hyung asked and he sighed, pushing himself from the wall and walking to us,
"I suspected it since Taehyung began trying to flirt with Luna "
He admitted, I glanced back at Taehyung who had his eyes squeezed tightly shut , biting his lip

Something about his face makes me want to wipe that stupid smirk off his face

I let out a disbelieving scoff, staring at him who refused to meet my gaze
"So that's why? "
I croaked out
"Is that why, you tried to take my mate from me, saying I had to feel how it feels to have someone taken from you? "
There was silence, he wasn't answering nor looking at any of us
"ANSWER ME TAEHYUNG! IS THAT WHY?! "
I yelled so loud that my body began to shake, how come ... It must have hurt to watch your mate obsessed with someone else right in front of you eyes.
The thought of how that must've hurt so much caused tears to sting my eyes. Even when I didn't care about my mate, witnessing her with another guy, with Taehyung made me fume. I felt some heart ripping ache whenever the thought of her being with someone else pops in. I would go berserk even when I hated her. I didn't want her, yet I was possessive, that was selfish of me though.
"YES THAT IS WHY JUNGKOOK! "
He bursts out angrily
"you stole her away from me, SHE REJECTED ME FOR YOU! "
He yelled angrily and the anger in me disappeared seeing his eyes water
He had gone through a lot if that was it

I couldn't believe it, everything was just too much. It was getting stressful... All these things have happened in a single day, my mate almost dying, finding out my coven brother's mate had been obsessed with me to the extent that he rejected him and not to talk about the fact that he hated me because of it, without my knowing ?
"Yes Jungkook, you heard it right... She rejected me"
He sputters ,I could feel the tension in the room grow. I wasn't the only one overwhelmed by everything.
By the looks of it, everyone was.

Jimin let's out a hurtful scoff, attracting everyone's attention.
He laughed in disbelief
"Wow Kim Taehyung...and you never told us?The both of you were hiding it from us all these while?"
He paused with a chuckle

He spat, earning a glare from Taehyung

My voice cracked, attraction his attention

I spoke, feeling my tears escaping my eyes. I rubbed both of my hands on my face, frustrated.
"You.. I didn't even know, how was I supposed to...to know? How was I to know, you never told me! "
I couldn't handle the guilt I felt, all because of me.
So that was why Taehyung changed so much
They knew they were mates and he lived his life watching his mate go after someone else. How painful must that have been? I sat on the floor with a loud thud, running my hands on my face
"Don't act sorry now Jungkook... Stop pretending and acting like you care " He accused, my head shot up to stare at him
"Everything was your fault! You stole both my brothers from me! Sake of you... "
He said through clenched teeth
"Sake of you, Namjoon and Jin abandoned me! They, never cared for me but only you"
He pointed a finger at me, his words were of so much hatred and I felt all the guilt settle on me, they descended on me like a pelt, and slowly it weighed me down
"But, wat did they get in return? "
He forced a grin, shaking his head
"Only your ungratefulness, that was their payment.... That is what you are Jungkook. You are ungrateful"
He grimaced, my shoulders sagged, feeling his words piercing through me
I had really been a jerk, everything he said was true
"I......... I'm sorry hyung, I never meant to... "
"Oh save it Jungkook "
"Taehyung "
"Fuck off Namjoon, ! "
"Hey brat--"
"Go to hell Yoongi"
It fell silent but the tension in the atmosphere still rose higher, I glanced at the hyungs to see their hurt faces, they aren't angry but hurt. Guilt settled in their eyes, but it wasn't their fault. It was all mine.
"Tae we--"
"Fuck off Hobi AND FUCK YOU ALL! "

Jin hyung scolded
"Double fuck off for you Jin hyung, just leave me alone . "
He run a hand through his hair, letting out a bittersweet chuckle.

He spat those spiteful words in rage before storming out of the house and slamming the main door behind him with a loud bang, everyone flinched and cringed.
No one spoke afterwards, we were all taken aback and shocked
We couldn't process anything.. No one moved, we all stayed frozen in our sport, even the werewolves and witches were shocked with the kind of drama that just got displayed.
But all in one, it was all my fault.... How much more damage have I made?
