The week went by very fast and it was now Friday. I have already told my dad that I'll be sleeping over at Bri's today. It would be the second time that I'm going to be away from home expect when I'm at school or anywhere else just for sleeping purposes.

"Hey B" Bri greeted me with a hug which I gladly reciprocated. I think I needed one of those.
"So are you all set for tonight?" She ask excitedly. I giggled and nodded.
"Yeah. I can't wait" I said and went to my locker.
"My mom is gonna work late so we will have the house for ourselves" she said wiggling her eyebrows at me. I chuckle and we made way to class.
"Where's Kyle;Mycheal and Brent?" I ask for all of them at once.
"Am I God?.....my bae is running late and he told me to go and not be late for class and I feel bad though" she said in a sad tone.
"It's ok at least you offered to wait" I said even though she never said that but I have a feeling she did.
"And as for lover boy and buss boy I haven't seen them this morning" she said and I laughed.
"What I'm telling the truth" she said shrugging. I roll my eyes and sat in a seat next to the window.
"So how are things with Kyle?" I ask her.
"It's great I'm not gonna lie. We're going out on another date tomorrow" she chirp. I'm very happy for her trust me. Whenever my friend is happy that make me happy.
"So how are things with lover boy?" She ask wiggling her eyebrows. I bit the corner of cheeks to keep me from blushing.
"I gave him my number the other day and we text and call each other" I said remembering the conversations we had. He has a nice;good boy kinda vibe and he's charming also but Brent is the total opposite. He has a bad boy-secretive and caring side when he's ready and I think that is what draws me to him. I want to know more about him I want him to open up to me. He's closed up and that only pushes me further.
"Hello. You've gotta stop zoning out on me like that" she says and I laugh nervously.
"Are you ok?" She ask and my pulse began to quicken. I can't tell her anything now I can't. Not yet.
"Yeah don't worry about me" I said giving her a reassuring smile.
"You sure?" She ask again and I nodded.
"Yes now let's start class because the teacher is here already" I point to the direction of where the teacher was. She nodded and I blew out a breath I didn't know I was holding in. I'm not ready to tell them that I'm a paranoid human being to the point where I have to take pills to calm down. My eyes became moist and my throat began to close up. I took deep breaths in and out then went back to the lesson at hand. It's not that easy (as I just stated) to calm down it takes time.
After class I met up with Mycheal and we went to class together.
"So can I ask you a question?" He ask out of no where. I was a bit startled but took deep silent breaths and nodded.
"S-Sure" I stutter and my voice became hoarse. I cleared my throat and wait for what is to come.
"Have you every had a boyfriend?" He ask scratching the back of his neck. I sigh in relief.
"I'm-oh God...I knew I shouldn't have asked you" he said nervously and I giggled.
"Your too cute" I said before thinking and he blushed deeply.
"I mean....am I thought you were gonna ask me something else" I said and he nodded.
"Like what?" He ask.
"Nothing." I said and he shrugged.
"So?" He ask and I shook my head.
"No. I haven't been in a relationship" I said and a smirk played on his lips but he turned his head. The teacher came and we started the lesson at hand.
After class we met up with the others in the cafeteria. We got our lunches and sat at our regular table. I still haven't seen Brent and it makes me nervous. We started talking about movie series then I felt Mycheal hand hold mine underneath the table. I hesitated and I can see the disappointment in his eyes but I surprised him by holding his hand and he gave me a small smile and I giggled then rest my head on his shoulder. I look over at Kyle and Bri who were complaining about movies. I roll my eyes and look towards the exit. I saw Brent hand in hand with Evan walking towards the exit and I became tense.
"Is something wrong?" Mycheal ask and I nodded.
"No" I said.
"Do you wanna get out of here?" He ask and I nodded and got up from my seat followed by Mycheal.
"Where are you guys going?" Kyle ask.
"We're just going to get some air" I tell them and they nodded but not before Bri playfully wink at me. I threw a chip at her and chuckle. She glared at me playfully but then Kyle kiss her and regain her attention. I swear they are the cutest couple. Not like you and Brent though. My subconscious said and I ignore her. I took Mycheals hand and lead him to the parking lot.
The wind blew freely through my hair and I inhaled the fresh air.
"Big fan of nature are we?" He ask and I blush. What's with me and blushing now a days. I smile and nodded.
"Yeah. So Mr.Aden tell me a little about yourself" I said and he nodded.
"Well I live with my parent and I'm an only child. I love reading;nature and food. But there's a lot more about me so I guess you have to stick around to find out" he said looking straight into my eyes.
"Who about you?" He ask and I hum.
"Well there isn't much about me. I love food;nature;romance novel and movies and honest people" I said briefly. He nodded at put a stray hair behind my ear and then leaned in. I stood my ground and then I felt his soft plump lips kiss my cheek.
"What was that for?" I ask and he chuckled.
"For being a great person" he said smirking and held my hand.
"Ok" I said the rest of the walk was magnificent it turns out we have so much in common. We made owner way back to the school and finished the day.

"You ready?" Bri ask and I nodded.
"Yeah I just need to grab my stuff from home" I replied and she nodded.
"Let's go"
I hug Mycheal before going to Bri's car.
"I saw that" she said smirking. I giggled.
"So what happened when you took some 'air'?" She ask air quoting.
"Well he might have kissed me on the cheek" I said biting my lips.
"Ahhhhhhh!!!!!"she screamed in excitement. I laugh at her silliness.
"Relax Bri it was just a friendly kiss" I said shrugging but she didn't even want to hear what I had to say.
"Let's just go" I said and she started the car.
A few minutes later we were pulling up at my house. I quickly got out and went upstairs for my things and went back into the car with Bri. This house never ceases to amaze me. It was so plain in the outside but beautiful on the inside. We made our way up to Bri's room and we immediately started chatting away. He phone made a buzzing noise in the middle of our conversation and her face scrunch up.
"Is everything ok?" I ask her.
"It's Brent he says he's going to a party" she said typing on her phone then sigh in frustration.
"What's wrong?" I ask her worried.
"It's just that I don't want history repeating itself" she said and I was beyond confused. She started sobbing and I went over to try and comfort her. I didn't really know what to do so I hugged her and rub her back soothingly.
"It's ok shhh" I said trying to calm her down.
"N-no it's n-not" she said crying even harder. I sat there in silence just comforting her. After she was finished pouring her heart out she gave me a strain smile. It's the first time I have ever seen her like this so weak and vulnerable and it hurt to see her like this.
"Thanks you're the best" she said sniffing and I nodded. I don't ask her any further questions she'll tell me when she's ready.
"Enough mushy mushy and let enjoy this damn sleepover" she said excitingly. Now that's the Brith I know. She grabbed my hand and lead me down the stairs. We made chocolate chips cookies and ice-cream after which we went for our sleeping bags. It was lots of fun baking with her. After setting up we made our way to the couch and organized our scrumptious food.
"What movie do you wanna watch?" She ask me.
"I have been hearing about this movie called After and I want to try it" I told her and she agreed and put on the movie. We started eating and watching keenly at what was taking place in the movie even though it was just a girl called Theresa aka Tessa who was packing up for college. Half way in the movie I find myself crying and so was Bri. It was so emotional. I took a spoon full of ice-cream in my mouth and hugged Bri closely. We just held each other while watching the movie. My mind suddenly flash back to Brent then Mycheal. What's wrong with me. I sobbed even harder. For the next thirty or so minutes the movie ended and I was a sad wreck.
"Hardin is a prick but I love him still" I said sniffing and Bri agreed.
"This is one of the most realest love I have ever seen they have been through thick and thin but she never stop loving him" I said mostly to myself.
"Yeah for real wanna watch another?" She ask and I nodded.
"Yeah anything but romance I need to get out of this mood." I told he and she gladly agreed.
"Do you wan start a series together?" She ask and I replied immediately.
"Yes. Bestie goal" I said and she laugh.
We settled for Power an action drama like movie. We watched it until it was at the last episode of season 1. We became tired and cleaned up then went to bed.
It was now one in the morning and I couldn't sleep. I got up and drank a glass of water then I wanted to use the bathroom afterwards. Great. I tipped toe trying not to wake Bri and made my way up to the stairs. I went into the bathroom and used it afterwards I came out and was walking back to the living room when I heard something in one of the rooms.
Run biss;Run !!!!
My subconscious say and I became paranoid. I gulped and sweat started washing my forehead. I took slow steps towards the door and when I reached it I turn the doorknob. Probably it's just my mind playing tricks on me. I look into the dark room and searched for the light switch. When I found it I saw a drunk Brent coming through the window. I blew out a breath of relief and walk up to him.
"Brent what the hell is wrong with you? Why didn't you just walk through the front door like normal human beings?" I ask and he began to laugh. I look at him in pure confusion.
"Relax Red Head stop being so paranoid I forgot my keys" he said like it was not a big deal. He finally came through the window and the way he emerge sent shivers through my body. He lost his balance and before you know it I'm on the bed with Brent hovering over me. My breathing stopped completely and butterflies grew in my stomach. I bit my lips and look into his eyes which were now very dark. Before I knew it my finger is now touching his lips and my mouth parted. He wasted no time devouring me exploring every corner of my mouth aside from the alcohol his mouth still tasted like mint. I moan in his mouth and he smirked against my lips. His hand ran along my bare skin and I sucked in a breath. I knew that I shouldn't be doing this but I can't help it he's irresistible. This would be called taking advantage.
He nibbles my lips licking and teasing them.....me. I frown my eyebrows and he chuckle lightly. His tongue then found its way into my mouth and I was now lost.
"Hmmm. B-Brent" I tried to say.
"Shh" he said shushing me.
"No I don't wanna take advantage of you in this drunken state" I said and he laugh at me.
"I wanted to kiss you for so long now but your little boyfriend won't leave you" he said and I blush. He captured my lips once more before I could say anything else. Everything became blank and it was just me and Brent.
"Get off of her" I hear a voice boom and I froze. Shit.
What do you think is gonna happen next? Will they stop doing whatever it is they are doing and just be friends or will they avoid each other again?
