You and Shawn were going on vacation to Miami, Florida to enjoy some time alone since you hadn't been able to get any of that due to his increasing popularity. You were currently in the airplane waiting for take-off but you were nervous, you had never really enjoyed take off.
"I can't wait to have some fun, what about you?" Shawn asked, nudging you a little.
"Me too." You said, smiling a little.
"Hey, what's wrong?" He asked, confused. "Are you not excited to go on vacation?"
"What? I am! I'm just not excited about take-off." You told him, "I know it's kinda dumb..."
"No, it's not dumb. Why didn't you tell me? But don't worry I'll be here with you the whole time. You can even hold my hand if you want." He said to you.
"Thank you." You smiled but it quickly faltered when the pilot started saying that the plane was ready for take-off.
"Here, take my hand," Shawn said, intertwining your hand in his.
You squeezed his hand tightly while gripping the armrest as the plane took off and started flying.
"Hey, hey, princess, we're flying now, it's safe. You can let go of my hand now." Shawn said, probably because you were squeezing the life out of his hand.
"Right, you know what? I'm just going to hold your hand... just in case." You said.
"Fine, but please don't kill my hand." He said.
You rolled your eyes but listened and intertwined your fingers softly.
"I'm gonna go to sleep now. Are you gonna be okay?" Shawn asked.
"Yes Shawn, I'm fine. Go to sleep." You told him and he nodded, kissing the back of my hand and going to sleep.
