It was Valentine's Day but you were stuck at work because your boss was an ass hole. You had plans with your boyfriend, Shawn but now you weren't even sure if you would be able to do them.
"Y/N! Have you finished typing the paper? I need it on my desk now!" Your boss yelled.
"One second, I need to proofread it!" You yelled, rolling your eyes.
"I need it now if you hadn't been slacking off this would have been finished." He said. "I'm very disappointed I thought you would be a good employee but all you've been doing is slacking off."
You wanted to yell at him but you kept your mouth shut not wanting to lose your job.

You walked up to his desk, handing him the paper. "Here you go sir, can I leave now?"
"Have you finished all your assigned work?" He asked.
"Yeah, plus Magaret's work that she didn't do." You told him.
He squinted at you probably not believing you. "You know, you're a pretty girl. How would you like to go to dinner with me tonight?"
"I'm sorry but I already have plans.' You said, backing away slightly. Even if you didn't have plans you still wouldn't go with him he was a greasy old man probably had a wife and child.
"Good night." You walked out of his office.
"Wait a second," He walked over to you and put his palm of your cheek. "C'mon sugar, let's go on a nice date we can have some fun."
"No thank you. I said I already had plans." You yanked his hand off you and went to your desk to pick your things.
He yanked your hand forcing you to face him. I said, go on a date with me." he snarled.
You kneed him in the place where the sun doesn't shine, took your things, and ran out of the office.
You went into your car, struggling to breathe normally since you were crying. You fumbled to take your phone out of your bag and called Shawn.
"H- hello?"
"Hey honey, what's wrong? Where are you?"
"I- I'm at work. Outside in- in my car." You stuttered.
"Ok, I'm on my way. Do you want me to stay on the phone with you?" he asked.
"No- no it's fine. It's not safe to be on the phone and drive."
"Alright, I'll be there soon." He said and you hung up.
You leaned your head back and let the tears fall freely from your eyes.

"Hey, honey. What''s wrong?" Shawn asked frantically.
"C- can you take me home?" You asked.
"Of course." He said, leading you out of your car and into his.
"What about m- my car?"
"We'll get it towed. Now let's go and get you into a bath." He said squeezing your hand as he drove.

You arrived at your shared apartment and he carried you bridal style inside and helped you stripped so you could get into the bath.
"Now, will you tell me what happened?"
"M- my boss. He tried to t- touch me." You said.
"What?!" He yelled, "Oh my gosh, princess. Are you okay? Did he hurt you or do anything?"
You shook your head.
"Good, I'll report him to the cops and we'll get a restraining order. He won't come near you ever again, okay?"
"Thank you, Shawn. You're seriously the best."
"It's no problem. It's the right thing to do."
"And I'm sorry. I ruined Valentine's Day." You apologized.
"It's not your fault, I promise. We'll watch a movie and eat ice cream or something, ok?" he said kissing the side of your head.
"Yeah, thank you. I love you."
"I love you too honey, I'll always be here to protect you. I promise."
