I flew up and out of the hole in the ceiling, before I was greeted with the sight of Deku, Eri and an empowered Overhaul, who had fused again with someone else.
Deku was crouched on the ground, arms around himself. "I-It feels like my body is being torn apart.." I heard him whisper. "She has no control. Said Overhaul. The ground cracked, leaving a huge hole that was headed straight for Eri! I grabbed her, and put her out of reach of the growing crack. Deku then got up and walked over to Eri, looking at me with confusion. Deku picked up Eri, holding her in his arms. He looked like he was about to ask me something, before he jumped up as two large spikes erupted from the ground. I flew to the side, dodging them. "She may have activated her Quirk at a good time, but she doesn't know how to stop it." "Isn't that right, Eri?" Asked Overhaul. Overhaul was either ignoring me, or hadn't noticed me yet and continued to talk. "She rewinds humans." "That's who Eri is." "Depending on how you use her, it might even be possible to turn a person back into a monkey." She's not a thing! I thought. "If you keep carrying her like that, you'll be annihilated." "Everyone who touches her will be rewound into nothingness." "That girl's Quirk is cursed." "Hand her over!" He shouted. "There's no way to stop her other than to disassemble her." He's going to kill her?! Deku tied Lemillion's cape over his back, which held Eri in place. "Never!" He said. Deku suddenly started to glow with green energy, as he activated One For All at one hundred percent. Oh.. he's going to break himself as Eri rewinds him to delay the process.. but that will only help until it starts to speed up. I realized. The power emitting from Deku dented the ground beneath him. Overhaul got into a fighting stance, crumbling some of the buildings around us. "You don't know Eri's value!" "A punk like you can't exploit an asset like her!" He launched himself at Deku, ignoring me. Is he only focusing on getting Eri? I know Chaos must have sensed me transform.. but since it can't possess him like this.. what are they doing? Spikes rose up around Overhaul, launching themselves at Deku. He moved faster than I could see, appearing in front of Overhaul. He raised his leg. "SMASH!" He yelled, as he kicked Overhaul's form in it's face. The impact broke off some of the ground, and sent him flying into the air. I reacted quickly, flying up into the air along with Deku. I raised my staff, and pointed it at Overhaul. A ball of blinding white energy appeared and I swung my staff, shooting the ball at it. Overhaul groaned in agony, then rose up into the air, becoming a storm of flesh.
"Why won't anyone.. look at the big picture?!" Shouted Overhaul. "What I'm going to tear down is this world-it's very framework!" I frowned as I felt Overhaul's negative energy skyrocket. What is he doing? "You only see what's in front of you." "It's mere sentimentalism." I hit a piece of flesh that was near me with my staff, and as the positive energy hit the negative one, it disintegrated. "You hero pretenders.. stay out of my way!" There! I saw half of Overhaul's body floating in the air, as he repeatedly tried to punch Deku. Deku dodged out of the way, and I made my way over there, disintegrating random pieces of flesh as I went. The less power for Overhaul the better. Overhaul screamed as one of his arms was blown off, revealing his regular arm. He then raised further up into the air, negative energy rising to meet him before huge arms and legs made out of flesh formed. If he keeps using up this much flesh, soon he won't have any left! I realized. I had finally reached them, and watched in disbelief as Deku screamed, then let loose hundreds of punches.
They hit him, decimating his body one limb at a time. Deku flung himself at Overhaul, getting rid of the rest of the flesh and revealing his original body. His body flew up into the air, his mask falling off from the pressure. Deku landed on the ground beneath me with a loud thud, still holding Eri.
Nighteye's POV
"I-I saw it." I stared forward in disbelief. "Chisaki succeeded in his escape, and Midoriya lost his life." Blood dripped onto the ground. "That's.. the unchangeable future I saw." And Serenity.. "I.. did not see.. this future." Uravity gasped above me. Does that mean..it can be changed? My eyes widened further in shock.
Uravity's POV
Ryukyu emerged from the hole in the ground. "Uravity, what's the situation?" She asked. "Nighteye is in the back!" "We've called for residents in the vicinity to evacuate!" I answered. "Deku and Serenity are fighting Chisaki but something seems off.. Serenity looks different."
Serenity's POV
I flew down, then ran over to Eri and Deku. "You should probably-" I was cut off when yellow energy surrounded Deku, emitting from Eri's Horn. I hurriedly grabbed Eri out of the makeshift pouch before she rewound him into dust. Deku fell to his knees, before a shadow fell over us. I looked up only to see one of Overhaul's hands looming over us, about to swing down and crush us. I swung my staff in an arch above us, creating a silver dome. As the hand crashed into my magic, I redirected the energy from Eri's quirk into the dome. I watched in shock as the glowing energy traveled up the arm, tearing it apart. It then rewound the body, throwing Overhaul and the other villain into the air. I lowered the dome, still clutching Eri. I bent down, making sure Deku was ok. The energy now flooded back into me, sending tingles throughout my body. I would probably be in agony right now if I could feel pain. I mused. Eri started crying, and yelling for her power to stop. I put my arms around her. "Hey, it's okay." I told her. "You'll burn yourself out before you manage to rewind me into dust." She'll have to rewind thousands of years back, so.. I noticed Eraser Head had managed to sit up, and turned to face him. His eyes flashed red, and erased Eri's Quirk. I held Eri in one arm, and with the other my staff. I pointed my staff down at Deku, and channeled my healing energy through it. The magic went into Deku, and he groaned. "Deku, are you okay?" I asked. He raised his hand, and put his thumb up. "I'm going to go heal the others who are wounded." I told his body. They started pulling out people on stretchers, and my eyes widened as I recognized Kirishima. He was covered in bandages, and unconscious. I rushed over to him, and put my hand on his stomach, sending my staff into my Sub-Space Pocket. The doctors looked at me. "Who are you?" "Are you a hero?" "Can you heal the other people who are hurt?" They asked. "Angel of Mystery: Silver Messiah" I told them, and showed them my provisional license. "And sure." I responded. I looked at Eri, who had passed out and her face was red. I took a deep breath, before channeling the healing energy through my body and into Eri's, not stopping. I headed towards Suneater, and put my hand on his shoulder. Some of my healing energy seeped into him, in addition to Eri. Fatgum stood beside him, also injured so I healed him as well. Out of the corner of my eye, I saw Nighteye on a stretcher. "Nighteye?" I ran towards him. Deku was crouched over him, and I heard their conversation as I got closer. "T-This is a different future from the one I saw.." Whispered Nighteye. He looked at me as I approached. "You both twisted the future.." Deku looked like he was about to cry then responded, "All Might said he would live!" "He said he couldn't face you.." "You should definitely see him again!" "See him and-.." "Hang in there Nighteye." I said. I stood back as Nighteye was ushered into the ambulance, along with Deku, Ryukyu, and the police officer. "Midoriya, Serenity.." Said Ryukyu. "There are many injured, so this isn't really the time to celebrate without restraint." "But.." She turned to look at us. "Thanks." Nodding, I walked away before they could ask me any questions. A doctor approached me. "Miss Messiah, we heard that you have been healing the injured." "Could you ride with us?" I looked up at her. "Sure." I was then escorted into the ambulance along with Nighteye, so I could make sure he didn't die on the way to the hospital. Before I got in, with a flash of light I detransformed.
I noticed despite me detransforming, my hair was now almost completely silver, and my crescent moon mark shined on my forehead. I got into the ambulance, feeding Nighteye my healing power.
