Ahh and we were finally back from paris and boy it was a well needed break, yes I hadn't forgot about what happened to me and omari, but I was moving on, I sure hope he was too. It was tuesday morning and I was due back at school and was getting ready. After I'd finished getting ready and whatever then I made my way downstairs. I walked into the kitchen and my mum was sitting there on her laptop. Samuel had finnaly left! Thank god! And now it was just me and my mum now.
"Good morning hun, you look nice today, trying to impress anyone?" When me and mum went to paris she booked me in for some mini makeover and I actually looked alright.
"No mum just doing me ahah, well I'm off see you later"
"Bye hun"
I walked out my house taking the essentials with me and made my way to the bus stop. In the distance I could see a shortish figure with long hair and big brown eyes. It was cecilia.
"Aaliyah oh my gosh where have you been?" She said hugging me.
"Ahh I was on holiday I've missed you man"
As we got on the bus we chatted about my holiday, omari everything.
"Ahh I'm sorry about omari love"
"Its ok its best we move on I hope we can still be friends though"
We got off the bus and walked towards the school gates. Then it hit me. This is where omari always is. Oh no!
"Hi guys"
"Wargwarn... Wait hold on Aaliyah?" Said steven
"Yeah its me I've been on holiday that's why you haven't seen me."
"Oooo check her! Where did you go?"
The whole time as steven was asking me questions I glanced at omari and his head was just down looking at his blackberry. The bell went for first lesson and as cecilia and steven walked off hand in hand omari just trailed behind. I kind of had an instinct to talk to him because the silence was just akward.
"Hi omari?"
"You good?"
"Yeah I'm kool you?"
"Yeah I'm bless"
"So..."
"So...?"
"Look I don't want it to be this akward everytime were together, I mean we can still be friends right?"
"Yeah sure"
We just walked to our form room, I told him about my holiday, he told me about school, but I could sense it something was wrong.
We reached form and I sat down at the back while omari sat by steven. I could still sense that something was wrong but it would soon calm down. Our teacher was taking the register and some guy walked in. But I decided to get my book and begin reading. I bought it on my travels while in paris. As I was reading, I could hear a noise interrupting me every minute.
"Sorry can you move your bag please." Said the unknown voice
"Oh sorry, no one normally sits here that's why" I replied still focused on my book
The person I guessed was a he because he had black nike trainers on.
"I hope your taking good care of my jacket"
Then everything stopped! It was him, the guy, the one from the park who gave me the jacket.
"It was you..."
"Yeah who gave you the jacket the park that time"
"Yeah, sorry I never returned it"
"How could you return it you don't even know my name"
Then the teacher cut in with the register.
"Zac Riely"
"Here"
"So now you know my name init :)"
"Ahahha I guess"
"So we kool then"
"Yeah were kool"
We sat there chatting for a while so I found out abit more about 'Zac' he was mixed race, had ocean blue piercing eyes and his skin complexion was a light peachy colour.
"So are you ok after the day when I seen you?"
"yeah, why are you so worried after all you don't even know me"
"I dunno you seem like a really nice girl so I'd like to get to know you"
In my mind I was thinking I should cuss this boy and say a few words but I just looked at him and smiled. He was so nice and genuine and he just made me smile for the first time in ages.
"So can I have your number then?"
"Wow! Your forward aren't you?"
"Nar it aint even like that I just need my jacket ahahhh"
"Oh yeahh sorry"
"Its kool,"
I gave him my number and we sat there chatting before the bell went for first lesson. Then the teacher came up to me to talk.
"Aaliyah can you show Zac around please"
"Miss I can do it init, he probably wants to jam with the mandem"
"Steven your unreliable that's why I didn't ask you"
"Miss how can you par man like that!"
"Look I'll walk with all of you man"
"See problem solved!"
So that was it! Me, Cecilia, steven, omari and Zac headed off to first lesson. This should be fun.
The day had gone by so slowly like Zac and Omari had a lot in common and were chatting away while Cecilia and steven did they're thing as usual. We was all walking to the bus stop when steven interrtupted us all.
"Oi you lot should come round my house yanna I got a free yard" there was just replies of yeah apart from me.
" I think imma go home"
"Nooo I want you to come" said Cecilia
"Mee too" whispered zak
I punched him playfully in his side and smiled at him. Then after about ten minutes we were all at stevens house. Steven put on some music and we were just in his house jammin really. Zak and omari were playing on xbox and well you know what the other two were doing and I felt like I had no place here. I sat there watching them playing and go on about 'COD' of which I thought wasn't too interesting yet to them it was like a baby or a link. I was getting bored and was about to leave when omaris blackberry disturbed me from my thoughts with its pinging. Then the doorbell went, I decided to go and get it as steven was too busy.
"Nah its kool Aaliyah I'll get it" said omari
"Well I aint got nothing better to do I might aswell get it"
He sighed and tried to stop me from opening the door but I got there before he did.
"Hello?"
"Hi, I'm here to see Omari is he in? I'm his girlfriend"
I don't know how to explain the feeling but I wouldn't want anyone else to experiance it. I just stood there. Shook. I was crying. I think. I was shaking. I think. I was so confused.
Chapter 30- End of the road.

I stood there blinking. It had only been two weeks, so much for that "you're my first love"; no I was the first person gullible enough to believe him. I realised that she was standing there; she was taking footsteps forward then stepping back. It must have been awkward for her, I was standing there tears running down my face, while this upgrade of me was standing there trying to look past if there was someone to help.
"Aalliyah come in" I heard and felt Cecilia's hand pushing me from the door and into the toilet. She left for a couple of mins and retuned looking concerned.
"Let's get you cleaned up yeah?" I was so numb; I just nodded as she wiped my face with tissue.
"Come wash your face" I stood up walking like a zombie and washed my face, then oiled it. Me and Cecilia left the bathroom and went into the kitchen; I sat on the table while she got out some ice cream.
"Looks like you know this house like the back of your hand" I tried to lighten the mood; we had been sitting down in silence for what seemed like years.
"Yeah comes with experience" we both chuckled sourly. She looked at me; and inhaled a deep breath. Here we go.
"Aalliyah?"
"Yeah I know Omari" she looked at me and sighed.
"If that's how you react when you find out he has a girlfriend then-"
"I knew he would obviously get another girlfriend but I just didn't expect it to be so soon" she studied me for a long time, I knew that what she was about to say would upset me.
"Okay , Aalliyah I'm just gonna tell you the truth; you getting upset cause he has a new girlfriend when it was you who broke up with him and asked to stay friends, FRIENDS would be happy for each other not breakdown in front of strangers. You can have Omari in your life but you can't expect him to always be single, yeah it's been a couple of weeks but true say this would have never happened if you didn't care what people said about you or Omari, cause if you did love him then you would be glad to see him happy" she paused waiting for my reaction, she saw I was calm and soaking up what she was saying.
"And you want Omari in your life; but yet you dropped off the face of the Earth without warning to anyone, you can't have him in your life on your terms. And big man tings; you were never this sensitive, you never said certain words; he's changed you I'm not saying it's a bad thing, but you can't always have everything on your terms. Either take him as he is; with other girls, or take him out of your life; cause you've crying how many times, breaking down, and he just-''
''Aalliyah lemme holler at you for a quick sec please'' Omari was standing in the kitchen doorway; Blackberry out of site. I stood up slowly and walked into the living room.
''Marya said you were balling'' He said as he closed the door and sat down opposite me. Cecilia said was right. I was the one constantly crying while he was just sitting there on his blackberry like nothing happened. I had to buckle up and take things like a person. Life's hard; but me crying isn't going to make it better.
''Is that what you wanted to ask?''
''Nar, I just wanted to ask if your okay?'' there goes his puppy dog eyes.
''Well thank you for asking; I'm okay'' I stood up about to leave. I had taken Cecillias advise, I knew that I couldn't handle him having other girlfriends but I wasn't gonna cry over or for him.
"Don't be like that"
"Like what" I was steps away from openening the door.
"Acting like you don't even wanna talk to me when it was you who asked to be friends" I chuckled. Was he serious, it was just something that I had heardon TV that seemed to soften the blow.
"Ite then laugh, its not be that breaks down on a regs" He obviously wasn't happy with me laughing at this situation.
"You really are as dumb as you look"
"You're such a hypocrite" he kissed his teeth and tried walking past me. How was I a hypocrite? I held him back on his shoulder; he looked at my hand then slowly at me. His brown eyes looked black and his cute chubby cheeks were replaced by his jaw musceles pumping blood.
"Aaliyah remove your hand" he was talking through gritted teeth while was looking at me dead in the eye; "How am I hyropicte?"
"Aaliyah real talks remove your hand"
"What did I do?"
"Aaliyah remove you're fucking hand"
"How am I hyprocite?"
"Aaliyah remove your FUCKING HAND"
"No cause you will just walk out"
"Aaliyah big man tings remove your blud clut hand from me"
"Ayyy why you lot shouting?" Steven was standing on the door way with Maria, Zac, and Cecilia.
"Tell your friend to remove her hand"
"Omari how am I a hyprocite?"
"You're gettin upset cause I'm not crying over you while you letting people move you, don't fuck about. Get the fuck out of my way" He shoved me out of the way but it wasn't a hard shove just one to get me out of the way.
''Omari, giving someone my number is not the same as having a girlfriend. Don't even compare-''
''Who says I have a girlfriend though?'' He stopped in his tracks and turned around screwing me. Cecilia and I turned to Marya.
''Omari I- I thought - because y-you said that last night-'' He turned to her and did that mini 'oh no you didn't' he raised his eyebrows. Steven started laughing in the background and walked upstairs.
''Marya; you're a nice girl, but I lost my BB last night and only found it this morning; you my boys sister. I don't do that shit.'' She stood there. It was getting kind of awkward, she didn't have tears in her eyes; but she seemed upset.
''Oh, errm well I'm just going to go then''
''Marya; I'm sorry''
''It's okay; don't know why I even believed it.'' She left and closed the door. Steven came back downstairs in deep breaths.
''Steven you prick, you can't mess with people like that'' Cecilia didn't find it as funny as him.
''But real talks did she think that would let him date my sister, I know his track history'' Baffled.
''What do you mean, that aint your sister''
'' Looool long story babes; I can tell you upstairs'' he said winking at her. She caved in and ran upstairs laughing while he was chasing her tickling her. I remember that used to be me and Omari.
He carried on walking out of the house. Nuh-uh this conversation was far from done.
''Omari'' I was putting out my hand to stop him.
''Don't touch me.''
''Then stop walking away from me''
''What? Like you did?''
''That was different''
''No it wasn't, just cause Samuel said one thing; you ended it. KMT, all you girls are the same''
''How old are you? You're throwing toys out of your pram just because you didn't get what you want.'' He looked at me; then chuckled.
''You think I wanted you?''
''So what everything you said was out of pure boredom?''
''Nah, you know what; you're the only girl that I actually ever opened up to and all you-''
''Open up? Oh palese; every time I would ask you any question, you would close up. I knew nothing about you, yet you knew me like the back of your hand.''
''Fine, believe what you wanna believe but do you seriously think that I ever said any of those things to another girl? Seriously Aalliyah. Everything I said that day in the beach I meant it.''
''So why are you acting like this?''
''LIKE WHAT? Aalliyah you broke up with me. You left without telling me. So I carry on life. What did you want me to do; commit suicide.''
''No; at least act like you care.''
''Just cause I don't cry doesn't mean I don't care'' I stayed quiet. What could I realistically say to that?
''Argh Aalliyah you're fucking frustrating.'' He walked out of the house; slamming the door.
