"Mayn your dad really said that?" Flaco laughed
"Im telling you i really wanna kill that nigga" i replied in rage.
"Who even told him you trashed the place?" Hè asked
"Probably his snitch ass bodyguards" i sighed.
I rolled a filter filled with marihuanna and lit it up.
"Im trynna clap some cheeks, you coming?" Flaco said
"Heck yeah" i replied.
We walked towards the car and got inside. I tapped my drivers shoulder so he could start driving
"To were?"
"My dads extense richards" i responded
"Are you sure-"
"It will be fine.. go head" i re-assured him
He began driving
"So who that rookie bodyguard your dad hired" Flaco asked
"Who JC? mayn i dont know but he thinks he can follow me around everywhere" i laughed
"Thats tuff"
I looked out the window, it was 5am
And the air was omnious as fuck.
"You really boutta lead the mara in 5 years" flaco randomly said.
"Its gon be weird huh?"
"You think im gonna be alive by then?" Flaco said
"Ofcourse! Mayn dont turn soft on me now" i chuckled
"Im serious, i want to be beside you through every step" he smiled
I lightly hit the back of his neck
"Me, you and hennessy five years from now" i mumbled.
"I hope so.. i dont wanna die" he said
"Non of us do"
We laughed.
We were only 17 at the time, we werent even legal but my dad let us do whatever we wanted.
"You ever wish your mom was here?" Flaco asked
"Dont" i said shaking my head
"You dont talk about her"
"I dont need to" i said getting irratated
"Aight" flaco slowly said.
"Here boss" the driver said parking his car outside my dads private lethal club
"Remeber, dont say nun" i said to him.
He nodded in a very scared way.
"Jerome wont do nun to you.. i promise" i reassured
"Ayy come on mayn" flaco said as he jumped out the car
I smiled at the driver and joined flaco.
We stood outside the place ready to make an entrance.
This play would always be flowing for my dads visitors all night and day.
It was a small section of vegas.
Flaco rubbed his hands in anticipation
I threw my cigar on the floor and stepped on it
"Lets rolll" i laughed.
We both went in, neon lights flashing left right and centre
Both me and flaco dropped high school
After i accidentally got a girl pregnant.. my dad called her family threatning to kill them.if she didnt get an abortion
Jerome payed for it and made sure everything went right.
I recieved a whooping and ever since dropping from high school my for real training started as the next heir of the mara salvatrucha leader.
A man bumped into me
I stared at him up and down and slowly squared up to him
"Mayn who let these lil kids inside?" He laughed.
"Lil kids?? My dad owns this shit dumbass" i yelled in his face.
He grabbed me by the neck
"You wanna repeat that again?" He gritted.
Flaco pushed him off me and i began punching him
People tried to break the fight up and all you could hear was murmuring
"Aint that jeromes kid?"
"Oh no, jerome gon' kill this man"
"Whats going on"
Everyone was whispering different shit but all i remembered was my rage.
Suddenly a buff fat man grabbed me and flaco from our shirts.
He lifted us both and took us outside
"Get the fuck off of me fat bitch" i yelled
He put both me and flaco down and shook his head
"David what the hell was you thinking when you came here?? Who dropped yall here cus im finna tell your dad" enzo said
I rolled my eyes
"No-one we came here ourselves" i said giving him a dirty look and fixing my shirt
"Ight imma call jerome-"
"Bro im not trynna face your dads wrath, it was Jamil.. the new driver yall hired" flaco snitched
"You fucking snitch" i said hitting the back of his neck
"Ey dont do that, you should learn something from him" enzos deep ass voice said.
That day my dad pulled up and beat my ass infront of errybody.
He ended up killing the driver even tho it wasnt even his fault.
I sulked all day and learnt my lesson

I woke up, my head was hurting so much.
All i remebered was drinking and arguing with diamond
Everything else after that was just a blurr.
I took my phone out to check the time.
It was
3:45pm
Damn i woke up late.
But something caught my eye.
The date.
Today would of been Flaco's birthday.
I had a flashback of the day he asked me in a car ride if i thought he would stay alive to witness my success
As much as we had our differences i missed him.
That nigga was my partner in crime.
And i fell in love with the girl who killed him
"Rise and shine bitch" cassie said as she burst in my room.
I groaned
"Weres diamond?" I asked
"She had a midwife appointment with isaac and troy" she replied
"How long have they been out?" I asked
Cassie shrugged her shoulders.
"Like three hours or something"
Three hours is quite long
"Did anyone acompany her?" I asked
"Shes a grown lady david, and your forgetting shes trained at fighting"
"And you forgetting despite her waist trainers that baby bump is still not gone which is still dangerous for the public eye" i said pulling my hair in anger
"You acted out yesterday you need to stop before you lose her" cassie let out.
"Im trying okay"
"Uh huh, well try harder and put yourself in her shoes" she continued.
I rubbed my eyes
"Im heading to the cementary" i whispered.
"Why?" Cassie asked confusement all across her face
"Today would of been Flacos birthday" i mumbled
"Ill come with you"
"Lets go"

DIAMONDS P.O.V
"Sorry for wanting to meet earlier, i wanted to get away for a while" i said as i hugged the man i met yesterday
I texted him a few hours ago after leaving the hospital
We met at barney's smoothies
"I have nothing else to do anyway" he hugged back as his 6'3 figure overshadowed me.
"Who are these cuties" he whispered as he kneeled down to reach the double baby stroller.
Isaac who was infront stared at his face and kept bobbing back and forth with his hands covered in drool
Troy on the other hand was fast asleep
"This is isaac and thats troy" i smiled.
"their beautiful"
"Very."
"Come on" he said leading the path and helping me carry the stroller inside.
We ordered our drinks and sat at a table.
I gave isaac a rattle so he could stay distracted
"So?? Boyfriend problems" he chuckled
I rolled my eyes
"Whats your name by the way?" I said before carrying on with the conversation
"Oh my bad, lets start again"
I laughed
"Im diamond"
"Im Damon"
"Our names are quite alike" i said
He nodded
"So what brings you out here today?" He started off.
"I mean i went to the hospital and i wanted to talk to someone who doesnt really know anything about me"
"I feel you"
"Have you sorted out your Baby momma problems?"
"Its complicated" he shrugged.
The drinks came over to our table, as we both thanked the waitress.. he smirked at me.
"What?" I asked him
"Oh god, is there something on my face?" I continued as i began to wipe my face
"No, no. Its the fact we speak to eachother as if we've known eachother for years" he laughed.
"Oh, well strangers come in my life 25/8"
He continued to eye me as he sipped on his drink
"So.. i need to ask you a crazy question" i quickly said
"Sure?"
"Are you a part of a gang? Or secretly working for someone" i raised my eyebrow.
He burst out laughing and looked at me like i was crazy
"No!! Why?"
"Well ive been kidnapped countless times by other gang members so im just trynna stay cautious" i whispered.
"Wait, are you?" He asked
"Im kinda not and i kinda am but Dont worry."
"Im worried."
"Then ill start from the beginning"
I took a deep breath in, its not everyday you tell a stranger a story as crazy as mine
"one day I met this gang member and ended up falling in love with him, little did i know he was soon to be a leader of a dangerous mafia.." i started off
Damon didnt flinch, he just payed attention to the story as if he was listening to a piano play
"I hated him at the start because he was a jerk but then little did I know I was starting to feel something for him, he was just so hurt we ended up being eachothers toxic medicine. It helps us but it becomes an addiction"
"But he is a monster??" Damon asked
"apparently I turned that monster soft"
Damon slowly became modern as he was starting to get the hang of the story I mean it was kind of cliche.
Girl falls in love with gang member, gang member turns soft, secrets un-ravel but their "love" is too strong to be defeated.
And they conquer it all!
But no, not this story
"The worst part is i found out his dad killed my dad." I shrugged.
"Wait what?!"
"I dont want to say much but yeah, i guess our dads were old friends" i smiled.
"I understand, lets change the subject" damon whispered as he held my hand.
I quickly snatched it back and coughed a little.
"Can you take care of them for me, im just going to use the bathroom" i said
He nodded
"Ill be back bebe" i said kissing both of my babies and heading to the toilet.
That was too close for comfort.
My heart was beating right out of my chest, i gripped onto the sink and stared at myself in the mirror.
My phone began buzzing
I quickly took it out my pocket.
It was david, i rolled my eyes.
"What?" I answered as i picked it up.
"I know you not giving me attitude" he responded
"Is that why you called?"
"I called because your with my kids and i tend to have alot of enemies. Now dont think of lying to me, where are you so i can pick you up" his rusty voice said
"Me and my babies are fine, and im with my midwife"
"Try again"
"Im at a smoothy brunch" i rolled my eyes.
Lying to david wasnt exactly my specialty.
"Which?"
"Bye" i said and hung up.
I giggled as i watched my phone ring again,
And then my paranoid ass realised i left my kids with a stranger.
"Oh shit" i mumbled and flung the door open.
I quickly walked towards the table i was at earlier.
My heart dropped.
The stroller and damon were gone.
"Hey, hey!! Weres my kids!" I yelled to the waitress
"The man who you were with?" She asked
My heart began beating and tears started to build up around my eyes
"YES" i yelled.
Everyone in the place turned around to look at me.
"Ma'am please calm down their outside" the lady pointed.
I wiped my tears and quickly ran towards the door.
A big sigh of relief left my mouth as i watched damon rock Troy back and forth in his hands.
I have never ever felt that type of fear in my life
"What are you doing?!!" I asked him
"Oh hey, troy started crying. I thought id take him outside so he could feel a little breeze"
"Breeze?? Do you want my child to catch pneumonia" i asked in disgust as i grabbed my child from his hands and wrapped him around his blanket, i kissed his forehead and placed him in the pram
"Im sorry-"
"No, im sorry.. This shouldnt of happend. Please dont ever do that i almost had a heart attack" i mumbled.
"My bad,i just wanted to know what it felt like to be a dad since my BM loves to keep my child away from me" he chuckled.
I sighed
"I should go home" i trailed off.
"I hope i didnt completly mess up" he whispered as he kept his hands in his pocket
I shook my head and laughed
"Naah, its cool"
We both stood there awkwardly staring at eachother
All of a sudden Damon came closer to my face, our lips really close to touching.
I pushed him
"What the fuck is wrong with you?" I said snapping my neck
"Shit, I misread that" he said rubbing the back of his neck.
I unlocked the stroller from its safety
"Yes, yes you did! I have a boyfriend"
"I know that was stupid"
"Not the first time a boy is only intrested for something other" i said giving him a dirty look.
"What no! I think you misunderstand me too, i aint into that shit" he laughed
"So why are you so intrested"
"Ive only known you for two days and your the realist person i have ever met so far" he shrugged.
The cap.. was unreal.
I aint gonna lie he was fine, real fine.
But i was loyal
And that was something i was always willing to stand by for.
But damn, david was wildin alot lately.
"Okay lets forget this happend" he awkwardly whispered
"Dont think i can" i laughed
He rolled his eyes and smirked.
Damm, its that smirk
He knew what he was doing.
I slowly moved towards him, he tucked a few strands of my hair behind my ear and slowly began kissing me.
Uh-oh.
Kissing is not considered cheating, is it?
