Flashbacks continued-
Kartik dropped Naira at her place as they both came out of the car.
N "Thank you Mr.Goenka."
K "kisliye?" He asked leaning against the car door.
N "Aajke date ke liye." He smiled.
K "You're always welcome! By the way..itni formality. Iske liye thank you kehne ki koi jarurat nahi thi."
N "Tumne pucha nahi?"
K "Kya nahi pucha?"
N "Capetown kab jana hai."
K "Oh haan! So tell me kab jana hai?"
She was scared of his reaction cause he might like the idea of her going at that time.
N "A day after our engagement. I mean we have only two days for that."
K "Only two days! Itni jaldi mera visa. Oh God! Naira tumne mujhe pehle kyu nahi bataya. How would I manage everything?"
N "Sorry nah! Dekho tumne promise kiya hai tum chaloge mere sath. You can't back off."
K "Maine kab mana kiya Naira. Main toh bas.."
N "No excuses Kartik. Theek hai. Main flight cancel kardeti hoon. Main nahi jaa rahi hoon kahi tumhare bina." She hugged him.
K "Naira.." She was surely not thinking practically. He sighed.
N "Chup raho. Maine decide karliya hai."
K "Theek hai. Main manage karlunga. but tum promise karo ki tum flight cancel nhi karogi."
N "But Kartik. Agar tum manage nahi kar paye toh? Hum 3 months ke liye alag hojayenge."
A lone escaped her eye. He wiped it quickly cupping her face.
K "I will manage! Pakaa promise. Ab yeh sab alag hone ki baat mat karo. Aur itni si baat pe kaun rota hai. Tum bhi na."
He was sensing her weird behavior since last few days. She was having some kind of negative thoughts as per he guessed. He needed to know that.
N "I love you."
K "I love you too." He smiled kissing her head. She hid her face in his arms.
"Ahmm! ghar nahi jana aaj?" He tried to make her mood light.
N "Tumhe koi problem hai toh tum jaa sakte ho lekin abhi nujhe apne husband ke saath rehne do."
K "Husband!! To be husband Mrs to be Goenka." He smirked.
N "Just shut up!"
K "Acha okay!" He was having a peaceful smile enjoying the moment with his love.
They passed 15 minutes like this.
N "Ab jao..she said breaking the hug.
K "kaam hogaya toh jao. Ab mera maan horaha hai apne wife ke saath time spend karne ka."
N "To be wife Mr Goenka." She teased him with his words.
K "Acha jii! Rukho tum!" He started to run behind her.
N "Kartik, dekho abhi sab so rahe hai. awaz mat karo." she said keeping a distance from him.
K "Toh main jau?" She nodded.
K "Sachmein jau?" She controlled her laughter and nodded again.
N "Of course jao."
K "Okay." He sat in the car. She came running to him and opening the door sat beside him. He got startled at her sudden action.
Holding his collar she pulled him closer. He was amazed seeing this side of her.
K "Kaun ho tum?" He asked with a shocked expression.
N "What!"
K "Tum meri woh sharmili Naira toh ho hi nahi sakti. Aaj ho kya gaya hai tumhe?" He actually asked seriously.
N "Hadh hai! Ab romantic horahi hoon toh usme bhi problem hai tumhe. kal tum officially mere fiance ban jaoge. Uske baad chup chupke milna bhi nahi hoga. Boyfriend girlfriend wali feeling bhi nahi ayegi. isliye socha aaj main apni boyfriend ko special treatment doon." She ran her fingers on his face, smirking.
K "Ayeee Hayeee! aise khayal tumhe rojh kyu nahi aate. Chalo chodo. Come a little closer." He held her waist.
N "Tum toh serious hogaye. Main toh mazak kar rahi thi. Ab mujhe jane do. please." But before she could open the car door he locked it from inside.
K "No you are not allowed to go."
She smiled and just planted her lips on his making him numb at his position. She cried in that kiss. Maybe it felt like it was their last one.
He responded to the kiss equally. Feeling her tears, he broke the kiss and engulfed her in his warm hug.
K "Naira?" She calmed down a bit.
K "Kya hua Jaan. Are you okay?"
N "Hmm."
K "Toh tum mujhe nahi bataogi?"
N "Even I don't know Kartik. Bohot ajeeb lag raha hai. Aisa lag raha jaise hum.."
K "Shhh!! kuch nahi hoga."
N "Kartik, can I ask you something?"
K "Anything."
She intertwined their hands.
N "Tum promise karo mujhse. chahe koi bhi situation ho kuch bhi ho tum kabhi mujhpe give up nahi karoge. You will never give up on me."
He smiled.
K "I promise! aur ye promise main apni akri saans tak nibhaunga."
N "Agar kabhi main tumse naraz hogayi toh. Tumse dur chali gayi toh."
K "Toh main tumhe apne paas keechke le aaunga. Jabardasti se ho ya pyaar se.
Har dard sehlunga lekin tumhe apne aapse dur nahi dunga. Aur tum nakhre dikhaogi toh tumhe bhi theek kardunga. apni tar tar se itna pakaunga nah ki sara gussa nikal jayega." His words were so true that her heart felt it. She was relieved.
N "I love you Kartik. You know nah?" While those tears were not stopping.
K "Haan mujhe pata hai. Meri Naira mujhse bohot pyaar karti hai." He left a warm kiss on her forehead for the last time. Maybe.
K "Ab tum bilkul nahi sochogi uss baremein. kal ke preparation, jewellery, makeup kuch bhi lekin yeh sab baate nahi. baki sab tum mujhpe chod dogi. main sabkuch sambhal lunga. Okay?"
N "jii mere hone wale patidev. Apka hukum kese tal sakte hai hum." He gave a loving smile to her.
He waved her bye not before hugging her last time.

K "Hi." He said on video call.
N "Kartik. Tum bhi na. Ab sojao aur mujhe bhi sone do."
K "Theek hai. Sojao. Sorry tumhe disturb kiya." He acted nicely.
N "Uggh! kitne bare nautanki hona tum!"
K "Toh tum bhi kuch kaam nahi ho."
They laughed for sometime at their own banter till she yawned lazily.
K "Acha ab sojao. Good night. I love you. Mere sapne dekhna."
N "Main toh kisi aurka dekhungi."
K "Main aajao udhar?"
N "Nahi nahi. Main toh masti kar rahi thi. Huh! Good night."
K "Missing you." He said hugging his pillow.
N "Yaha rukhjate phir." She smirked.
K "Acha!" She cut the call before he could tease her.
He laughed at her. Keeping everything aside they prayed for their happiness, most important day of their life.
