Jungkook P.O.V
"Kook, what do you want for breakfast?" Jimin barges in the room causing me to flinch a bit.
"Sorry, I didn't mean to startle you," he mumbles in a sad tone.
His eyes widen.
"W-what?" I ask a bit confused.
"I'm sorry, for a minute there I forgot that you eat-"
"Humans," I finish his sentence.
"Yeah, I'm sorry," he looks down, clearly upset.
"I think I should get going," I say as I stand up from the bed.
"No!" Jimin yells. This dude can yell for sure. He probably ended up yelling a lot louder than he intended to.
"I meant that I'm going outside to get some food," I tell him.
"H-human or bunnies?" He asks.
I haven't eaten humans in a while now. He acted all normal yesterday. I wonder what changed.
"Bunnies," I reply softly.
"Promise?" He asks me.
This makes me frown a little. Doesn't he trust me?
"Promise," I say before making my way out the house.
--------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
It's very cold outside.
I take a deep breath as I cross the street.
I know I'm different. I can't tell whether Jimin is my friend now because he accepts me or because he's scared of me. Maybe I should give it some time.
A surprised look appears on my face when I feel hot liquid fall down my cheek. I guess I value my friendship with him a lot. I don't know what I would do without my best friend.
My reflexes kick in as I strongly grab the innocent hopping bunny.
Hands covered in the same red liquid over and over again.
Growing up, I've always had a strong hate for murderers. Little did I know I would grow up to be one myself.
I don't usually hide in bushes when I eat my food, but taking the dead bunny to Jimin's house would be an extremely inappropriate thing for me to do right now.
I hear a sharp sound and look up from my food for a minute.
Y/n.
She's... crying? My eyes stare in awe. I admire her from a distance.
I quickly look away and put the bunny down. I wish I could walk up to her and be the one to comfort her. But unfortunately for me, she can't see me like this.
I throw the bunny behind the tree and try to stand up as silent as possible. My eyeballs are about to jump out when she looks up.
Without thinking, I start running. Extremely fast.
She can't see me like this.
She can't see me like
She can't see me
But she did see me, didn't she?
