I don't wanna tell my mom, cause then she'll feel bad and try to mother me and she'll drop everything (including her conversation with the visitor that she hasn't seen since 2008) just to try to help.
So I very unsuspiciously located the Tums, cursed the world when I saw they were expired, and then walked back into the living room.
Me: Hey, mom, these expired in 2005, but cna I have them anyway?"
Mom: Sure! ... Why do you need them?
Me: *is in extreme pain* Oh, I just don't feel too well.
