dad: "You know the drill. Grab a tray and help us out here. It's been a busy day."

dad: "So, how's school been?"
y/n: "Good."
dad: "And Soobin?"
y/n: "He's good."
dad: "...are you sure everything's alright?"
y/n: He's so nice here. So different. Too bad it's not real.
y/n: "Fine. Sorry. I didn't sleep well."
dad: "You can't stay up too late to study. Remember, study little by little everyday so that you're not cramming everything in the last second."
y/n: "I'm a student. Cramming is like second nature to me at this point."
dad: (laughs) "Well, hopefully serving tables is like second nature to you, too."
y/n: "It is. I'm on it."
[Y/N walks to table]
y/n: "Hello! My name is [y/n] and I'm going to be your server today. Can I start you off with any drinks?"

dad: "Did you audition as well?"
y/n: "Oh, no. My boyfriend is thinking of auditioning, though."

y/n: "He is."
dad: "Good luck to him. It's a competitive field."
y/n: "Thank you, sir."

lea: "Bahiye!"
bahiye: "I thought she was Hueningkai's friend..."
y/n: (laughs) "Thank you. So, any drinks?"
dad: "Four waters, please."
hueningkai: "And a milkshake? Please?"
dad: "Milkshake or a stuffed toy: choose."
hueningkai: "But--"
lea: "Kai."
hueningkai: (sigh) "Sorry. Forget the milkshake."
y/n: "No worries. Waters are coming up."
[Y/N leaves]
dad: "Hey kiddo, I'm sorry."
hueningkai: "No, it's okay, Dad. I understand."
dad: "We're just on a little bit of a budget while we're here."
hueningkai: "I know. You're right. Plus, we can always make a milkshake from scratch anyway."
bahiye: "That's what YouTube is for!"
hueningkai: (laughs) "Right."
dad: "Soon you'll be going off to South Korea and training..."
lea: "Here we go... Dad, can we start making a schedule for when you can be sentimental throughout the day? You just did this in the car earlier."
y/n: "I have your waters here."
dad: "Oh, thank you so much."
y/n: "Of course. Were we ready to order?"
dad: "Yes. But you know what, before that, you said your boyfriend was auditioning as well?"
y/n: "Yes."
dad: "You know, if he passes he may be training with our little Hyuka in South Korea."
y/n: "Really?"
dad: "Really. You said his name was Soobin?"
y/n: "Mhm."
dad: "Hueningkai, remember that name. You need an older buddy to keep watch over you."
hueningkai: "I'm not a baby."
bahiye: "You have over ten stuffed toys back home...
hueningkai: "Shut up!" (blushes) "[y/n], I'll remember Soobin if he makes it through his audition. Don't worry."
y/n: "Actually, he's auditioning with another boy as well. His name is Yeonjun."
dad: "Yeonjun and Soobin. Will you remember those, Hyuka?"
hueningkai: "Soobin and Yeonjun. Soobin and Yeonjun. Soobin and--"
lea: "Can we order now?"
