Troodon town 4:30 AM
Gilbert was asleep and he was dreaming about something but what was it?
"gilbert?" winter asked
"yeah?" gilbert asked
"what's wrong With you?" winter asked
"what do you mean?" gilbert asked
"i mean you haven't slept well for the past hour so tell me what's bothering you" winter said
"i dont know winter maybe its because so many things have been happening lately i just cant keep up" gilbert answered
"like what exactly?" winter asked
"like valkyrie and you and all the threats me and my friends are facing and the fact that shiny and i are now in a relationship i just cant keep up with so many things all at once" gilbert answered
"well i bet you can work it out besides your girlfriend is there to help you im sure you'll be fine" winter giggled
"for the last time winter she's not my girlfriend" gilbert said a bit irritated
"yet" winter smirked
"seriously?" gilbert asked
"well you two do look cute together" winter giggled again
"jeez can you just shut up already! I need some sleep" gilbert rubbing his eyes
"alright but dont think i'll stop teasing you" winter answered
"i really hate you sometimes" gilbert said
MEANWHILE
pteranodon terrace 6:30 AM
The sun was shining bright on the land the waves were washing on the beach the birds are chirping and a roar can be heard in the distance that was buddy waking his family up with a lower roar than usual as to not piss his big sister off
"rise and shine everybody!" shiny said as she got up
Don yawned and said "good morning"
"i had slept wonderfully last night" tiny said
"all i could think of was carrion last night i dont know why" buddy said
"maybe you're just hungry" mr. Pteranodon said
"yeah maybe that's it" buddy said
"well then if that's the case then lets go fishing" mrs. Pteranodon said as they went down to the beach
They went fishing shiny and tiny caught 5 fish and don caught a medium sized fish while buddy caught a fish that was just as large as the one he caught before
"why are you so lucky?" tiny asked her brother
"maybe because big fish like hunting small prey" buddy answered
"alright team time to eat" mr. Pteranodon said
Tiny smiled and she started to sing a familiar song
🎶if i could wish for just one dish my favorite wish would be....🎶
"i got this one" buddy said
"is it fish?" buddy asked
"yes!" tiny said as she ate a fish
While they were eating the fish their friend keenan chirostenotes was headed towards them
"top of the morning to ya pteranodon family" keenan said
"hey keenan" buddy said greeting his friend
"i got some news for you guys" keenan said
"what is it?" buddy asked
"i've heard there's an island im not sure what its name is but i've heard strange purple creatures are starting to go there" keenan said
"what else?" buddy asked
"they also said there's a purple pteranodon out there" keenan said
Buddy's eyes grew wide as he knew who this was buddy sighed
"valkyrie must be there then" buddy said
"yeah guess so" keenan said
"where is this island located?" buddy asked
"its far off the western interior sea so he wont be coming for us anytime soon especially after the beat down we gave him" keenan said
"yeah probably best if we dont go there he probably wouldn't even dare to fight us after what happened two weeks ago" shiny said
"hey how's about we go to the dinosaur train?" don asked
"sure and i think we should come with you guys this time" mr. Pteranodon said
"sure mom and dad can come too" tiny said
"alright then i'll get the others" keenan said as he went to get daphne lily and leroy
They went to the station where annie and valerie were already on the train
"all aboard!" mr. Conductor said
"so where to?" mr. Conductor asked
"hmmm" tiny was thinking
"troodon town maybe" tiny said
"oh okay then" mr. Conductor said
MEAMWHILE
in the observation car
Buddy was talking to annie about what keenan said earlier
"so valkyrie is alive?" annie asked
"yeah" buddy answered
"but how we all used all of our powers at him why is he still alive?" annie asked
"i dont know maybe it has something to do with his type" buddy said
"his type?" annie asked
"yeah im not sure what type he is but from what i can see he seems to have an electric side to him but i felt something else" buddy said
"what was it?" annie asked
"im not sure but all i felt was the coldness of nothing" buddy answered
"maybe he's part ice" annie said
"no that's not it its something else it didn't felt entirely empty i felt something else" buddy said
"what was it?" annie asked
"hate" buddy answered
"what does hate have to do with anything?" annie asked
"everything" buddy answered
"you see ever since we got out of the realm of elements i've been reading about the different type of elements and what they represent" buddy said
"ok then" annie said
"and i was reading about the element of dark and i noticed something" buddy said
"what was it?" annie asked
"it represented hate" buddy answered
"so are you saying that valkyrie is part thunder type and dark type?" annie asked
"maybe but we dont know for sure" buddy said
"doesn't fire represent hate as well?" annie asked nervously
"no it just represents rage and anger and even if those are similar to hate they aren't hate" buddy said
"but" buddy said
"but what?" annie asked
"valkyrie might not be a full dark type" buddy said
"huh?" annie said
"think about it in the book i read it said that darkness is the color of black and nothing else but valkyrie's attacks are colored purple maybe he hasn't ascended to hate fully maybe there's still good in him somewhere" buddy said
"im not sure about that considering he murders innocents" annie said
"he's got to have a reason everybody has a reason to hate and im sure he does as well" buddy said
"but we'll never know why cause remember when tiny tried asking him that? He just went into a rage maybe its something he doesn't want to think about" annie said
"yeah maybe" buddy said
"time tunnel! time tunnel approaching!" mr. Conductor shouted from the passenger coach as the train went through the tunnel and out into troodon town
The station was covered with a bunch of flowers and elemental symbols the team asked mr. Conductor why that is
"well you see there's something called an elemental festival its something that happens every few hundred years happens to celebrate the elemental guardians" mr. Conductor said
"that's cool!" don said
"yeah it is cool and you will even see fireworks tonight" mr. Conductor said
"wow so when will it start?" keenan asked
"this noon" mr. Conductor asked
"can we come?" daphne daspletosaurus asked
"sure! Anybody can come it is the celebration of the elemental guardians after all" mr. Conductor said
"um mr. Conductor?" shiny asked
"yes?" mr. Conductor asked
"is gilbert here?" shiny asked
"why yes he's in his house" mr. Conductor said
"has he told you about--" shiny trailed off
"yes shiny dont worry he told me everything about what happened while you two were alone in the big pond and dont worry i approve of it" mr. Conductor smiled
"really?" shiny asked
"yeah i mean it really doesn't matter to me who gilbert dates as long as he finds love" mr. Conductor said as he felt someone behind him
"good morning sonny boy!" his mother said behind him she made mr. Conductor jump
"oh! Hi mother" mr. Conductor said
"so are you kids here for the festival?" mrs. Conductor asked
"yes we are" buddy said
"uh does she know too?" shiny whispered to mr. Conductor
"dont worry she does" mr. Conductor said
"ok guys guess im off" shiny said
"woah woah woah where are you going?" don asked
"to gilbert" shiny answered
"oh i see what's happening here" buddy said smirking
"what?" shiny asked
"oh nothing just go to your boyfriend im not judging you" buddy giggled
"he's not my boyfriend" shiny said.
"yet" buddy laughed
"buddy!" shiny shouted
"alright im sorry you can go now" buddy said
Shiny flew away to gilbert's house to meet him there
She knocked on the door
"gilbert? Its me shiny" shiny said
Gilbert was sitting in his bed
"looks like your girlfriend is here" winter said
"can you please stop that?" gilbert asked and he walked towards the door opened it he smiled at shiny then let her in the house
"so why did you come here?" gilbert asked
"well there is a festival today right?" shiny said
"no i mean why did you come to me specifically" gilbert asked
"well i just wanted to spend time with you" shiny smiled
"i understand" gilbert said
"so how are you lately?" gilbert asked
"nothing much really apart from the fact that a few days ago valerie told me she was a phoenix guardian" shiny said
"wait really she is?" gilbert asked
"yeah and its real she showed me her powers" shiny said
"wow she's lucky" gilbert said
"yeah" shiny said blushing faintly
"i can see you blushing again" gilbert smirked
"oh you!" shiny giggled
MEAMWHILE
Buddy and the others were preparing the festival for the afternoon buddy annie and daphne helped with the stage while tiny and don helped with the tables
"so let me get this straight you are a phoenix guardian?" mr. Conductor asked
"yes didn't gilbert told you?" valerie asked
"actually no i think he forgot to tell me" mr. Conductor said
"ok then" valerie said
The stage was almost done the lights were the only thing missing from the stage
"hey tiny don can you guys lift the lights up there?" buddy asked
"sure" tiny and don answered as they lifted the lights up and connected them up
"nice job guys!" buddy said
"hey mr. Conductor what time is it?" keenan asked as mr. Conductor looked at his watch
"its 11:45" mr. Conductor asked
"alright all we need now is shiny and gilbert maybe i should go get them" tiny said buddy nodded then tiny flew to gilbert's house
MEANWHILE
Gilbert's house 11:45 AM
A knock was heard on the door
"i wonder who could that be?" shiny asked as gilbert and shiny walked towards the door and opened it and to shiny's surprise it was her sister
"hey sis so what are you doing?" tiny asked
"we were just talking to each other" shiny said
"is that so?" tiny asked
"what were you talking about then?" tiny asked
"please tiny dont ask me" shiny said
"ok then anything you say sis" tiny said
"so why are you here?" shiny asked
"well you see its almost noon so i thought i would come here to pick you guys up cause the festival is about to start" tiny answered
"oh right! I forgot it was today" gilbert said
"lets go" tiny said as she flew while shiny ran with gilbert
MEANWHILE
Elemental festival 11:53 AM
"where are they?" buddy asked
"they should be here now" don said
"RAK!" tiny came flying towards them with gilbert and shiny following close behind
"there you are what took you so long?" buddy asked
"dont ask" shiny said
"ok then" buddy said
The festival was starting and crowds were gathering mr. Conductor was at the front of the stage
"welcome everybody!" mr. Conductor said
"now how's about we get started?" he asked
The crowd cheered
The team were having the times of their lives playing games talking with others and even meeting old friends
"okay everybody can i please have your attention?" mr. Conductor asked
"may we introduce our new phoenix guardian" mr. Conductor said
"valerie velociraptor!" mr. Conductor said as valerie walked out and greeted everyone
mr. Conductor gave the mic to valerie
"hello everybody im valerie your new phoenix guardian you dont need to fear anymore while im here" valerie said
The crowd cheered now knowing a new phoenix guardian has been chosen even valerie's family was there
"that's our little girl!" vincent and velma velociraptor said
"i wanna be like my sister when i grow up" blake velociraptor valerie's little sister said
"you will someday sweettie you just need to wait" vincent said to his youngest daughter
"okay!" blake said with excitement
Everyone was having a good time
Elemental festival 6:30 PM
"okay everybody get ready the fireworks are almost ready" mr. Conductor said
"oh this is gonna be great" mr. Pteranodon
The troodons started lighting the fuse on the fireworks
"okay then ready in....." mr. Conductor said
"5 4 3 2 1 launch!" mr. Conductor said as the fireworks launched up when the firework blew up it created elemental symbols of fire nature aqua wind earth thunder ice mystic and a gigantic phoenix symbol
"its beautiful" shiny said as she looked at the fireworks
"just as beautiful as you are" gilbert said smiling
"really? Oh thank you gilbert!" shiny said blushing
"ahem!" buddy said standing behind them
"oh um" gilbert said
"go ahead enjoy yourselves dont let me get in the way" buddy said
"thanks buddy" shiny said
"anything for my big sister" buddy smiled

author's notes: jeez has it been 3 months? Cause to me it felt like a year so yeah im back and today i wanted to touch upon the culture of the elemental guardians and i also wanted to let the readers know where valkyrie has been and i also made this so i can improve on gilbert and shiny's relationship and noticed that my writing has improved as well that's because of my other story "ripper's journey" where i improve upon my writing see ya next time on DINOSAUR TRAIN EVOLITION!
