MERIELLE'S POV
"Okay so, let me get this straight," I said as I walk back and forth in front of Mammon as I try to process things. "So, you are now cursed by witches into having these bunny ears and tail at sundown and you will turn into a real bunny by sunrise? Is that it?"
"Yep," Mammon said as he took one of my pillows and hugged it.
"And right now, you don't have any idea of how to fix it," I said again.
"No idea," he said as he buried his head on my pillow and... did he just inhaled its scent?! Nah. Probably not.
"Can't you ask for Lucifer or Satan's help? Those two are most likely to have the answer to your problem," I suggested.
"I doubt those two would help me," Mammon said and looked at me.
"Guilty of something?" I asked as I crossed my arms.
"Stealing," he said with a grin.
I took a pillow from my bed and started hitting him with it.
"Don't. You. Ever. Stop. STEALING?!" I said as I hit him with the pillow with every word and also made the last hit harder than the rest.
I was about to hit Mammon again when he quickly stood up and stopped me! He held my right hand where I am holding the pillow tightly and took hold of my waist using his other hand and pulled me closer to him. I felt myself stop breathing for a second as I stared at his blue eyes that are staring intensely right at me.
"You know, I have been trying my best to," he then breathed deeply and whipped his head to the side that made his front hair flow then looked at me even more intensely once more to continue his sentence. "to... to refrain myself from doing things to you, you know?"
"D-doing... things?" I stuttered.
"I'll save the words for your virgin ears, sweetheart," he whispered in a seductive tone. "Just remember to think twice before hitting me again."
Mammon slowly let go of me and brushed his hair using his fingers. I can see beads of perspiration come down his temples. I feel like the world has stopped turning for a second there. I shook my head quickly and returned to the situation at hand.
"I-I'll try t-to look for a c-counter s-spell through some b-books at the l-library," I said with a continuous stutter! Argh! What is happening to me?!
"Why are 'ya stutterin', human?" Mammon asked as he turned his head at me, his body sideways, while his right hand is still at his head and his left hand at his hips.
If I am being honest, he is looking really hot right now. That must be why Majolish took him as their model.
"WHAT IN THE WORLD DID I JUST THOUGHT?!" I said to myself as I realized that I just thought that Mammon the MASOCHIST is a hot demon!
I mean... he really is but... BUT STILL!
"D-don't just call me human! That's rude!" I said. I feel my cheeks burning!
Mammon let his hands down and stepped closer to me. Then, he lowered himself so his face meets mine at the same level.
"But you are a human. It is an accurate description," Mammon reasoned.
"STILL! I have a name and you know that!" I said. "Just think of how would you feel if I just call you demon."
Mammon stood up straight and thought about it for a while. "Yeah, not too good to hear. 'Ya have a point, I guess."
Then, he turned his back on me and started walking out of the room.
"Where are you going?" I asked.
Mammon opened the door then turned his head and beamed a charming smile at me.
"You said that you will look for a counterspell at the library, didn't 'ya? Well, I'll see 'ya there later," he said. "I just have some... things... to fix to myself." My curiosity is running! "'Ya know,'ya have to fix yourself, too."
"And what is that?" I asked, trying not to stutter again.
"Your cheeks," he simply and closed the door.
I rushed to the mirror and looked at myself. My cheeks really are burning red.
"This is your fault, Mammon," I whispered to myself as I took the pillow that Mammon was holding and hugged it.
