Aashna's POV:
I sat down in the dining hall, neil went with a few girls.
Just another day in the life of Neil Oberoi,
i was all alone there with no company so i stood in line and waited to get the food.
There was a buffet system of self serve and the food looked delicious when i saw it. I took some chicken curry and rice and took some salad and a can of red bull and went to find an empty spot.
I was missing my airpods, usually when i am alone, music is my companion! Unfortunately this guy, threw them away, threw my companion away! I saw him later approaching me and I prayed that he goes past me but he had the guts to come sit next to me
"Umm u cant sit here" i blurt what i thought in my head
Fuck aashna! You dont say everything that you think in your head out loud
"Is this seat taken?" He asked but ironically he was sitting there already
"Umm yes" i said
"By whom? Your bag?" He said and laughed
Everyone was looking at him laughing hysterically for no reason! Some girls were drooling again.
Ughh i hated these many people looking and then whispering, i just want to be invisible pleasee
"Umm no by me" someone said tapping his shoulder
"Now if u dont mind, that seat was for me, so move your ass up" she said
He looked at her up and down or shall i say checked her out and sat in the other side facing me
The other girl sat down, who was sent by god to take that headache away
"Thanks" i said, i don't know why, but it was relief seeing him go away
She looked really beautiful. "No worries, its all cool" she said and i laughed a little
We ate our food quietly, the cook wanted us to have it silently ugh! I couldn't even ask her name
I got up and took my plate and while we all were leaving for our dorm, i finally asked her name and department
"Oh ya fuck, we totally forgot to introduce ourself" she said and laughed
"But i thought youwould recognise me" she said
"Shruti" Neil squeals and i was shocked
How could I not recognise her? She looks so goddamn beautiful
"Fuck" i said and hugged her tightly
"Even neil recognised me and not u " she said happily and then pouted
"Aww, i didn't imagine you this beautiful... i mean i imagined you as beautiful but this more of beauty" i said
"Well then" she said "i will see you tomorrow in class"
"Cool" i said and hugged her and Neil gave her a hug and we came in
We had an activity planned tomorrow, so i decided to get some cereal and munch them while laying on my bed watching netflix.
Yup i was guilty of never being able to manage my sleep schedule, though i have learned the art of waking up early!
Neil walks in my room and sits next to me. I don't look as I was too busy watching an important scene!
"You just look so beautiful" he said
I know where this is going
"What do u want?" I said still looking at the TV watching THE VAMPIRE DIARIES
"Nothing" he said
"Okay bye go to sleep then" i said munching my cereal
Yup i eat only chocolate cereal with no milk. Yup u can judge me!
"Okay well there is something" he said
I knew it
"What?" I ask
"First switch the TV off" he said
"No, its an important scene dont u see" i say still looking at the screen
"Ash" he said "pleaseeee" he said in the sweetest puppy voice
Ughhh
"Fine" i said and switched it off, knowing what's happening in my best friends life is important
I turn to him and he began
"So today in the auditorium, i met a girl..."
Here goes! UFFF. I know my best friend, we have been beesties for years! I know he likes someone, then dates them, ignores me when I tell him the girl is a bitch and regrets not listening to me when she breaks up with him and comes back apologising for his behaviour then and how will wont do it again and yet does it. Its the story ALWAYS!
"And u like her" I completed his sentence
He nods in agreement.
"Neil today was the FIRST DAY" i said stressing on the first day
"I know i just am attracted to her"
"Okay so what do i do?" I ask since i cant play the matchmaker as i barely knew the girl
"I dont know, help me woo her" he said bluntly
"Woah woah calm down Mr Neil oberoi" i said
"I will look and try my best to help" i said and he gave me a tight hug
"You the best" he said "what would i do without u?"
I smiled. I knew inside the history wasn't going to repeat itself this time so i was kinda happy .He promised me afterall.
THE NEXT MORNING
I wake up as my alarm buzzes and i get up from my bed and go take a cold shower. I wear this:
i go down for breakfast and take a few sandwiches, fruits and some orange juice
As usual, neil and shruti sat next to me, i saw Mr. headache entering in shorts and just.. shorts.
He came in shirtless! Though i hated him to the core, i couldnt stop my eyes from checking his body! Those abs and biceps
"Ugh, who comes shirtless?" Shruti said in disgust "yup i agree" i said sipping my juice, i too thought of the same thing but i couldn't deny the fact that he really has a good body!
He sat in front of me as usual and girls surrounded him, touching his abs and all.
Ewww
He looked at me, i reliased my eyes didnt stop checking him out. So I quickly diverted them but when ever i ate and tried to ignore his body, he was sitting in front of me, i could help but see it.
AASHNA STOP CHECKING HIM OUT
I tried to eat my breakfast as quickly as possible, i could see him smirk when i looked at him. Ughh. Finally i finished my breakfast and since we all were in different departments and had only a few classes together, we all gave each other a hug and left
I decided to go for a walk, explore the beautiful campus!
