I gently took my hand and traced his eyebrows, jawline to his lips. I looked up into his eyes, and moved my hand to his tattoos on his neck. I looked at the clock, it was only six and I had a day off. Eric followed my gaze, and looked back at me.
"You must be tired. Get some sleep, I'll take the floor." He told me as he got up. I grabbed his hand and pulled him towards me, and shook my head.
"Stay with me." I said. He hesitated, then nodded, and snuggled into the covers with me. I rested my head on his chest and listened to his calming, slow heartbeat.
"I feel safe with you." I started. "But if my brother finds out-"
He responded by pulling me closer and massaging my hair.
"You're beautiful, and don't worry about Four. I'm the leader, not him." He said.
I closed my eyes, snuggled in closer to his warmth and fell asleep.
