Aashna's POV:
"Umm hello" i said and got up. "Firstly who gave you the right to call something filthy? Do you know what its worth for someone? Just because you are a spoilt brat who disrespects almost everything and everyone, you don't get the right to do that to others, or to me especially" he rolled his eyes, "and who said i was dreaming about my obnoxious boyfriend, oh please who are you even, the topper or a mind reader, many of these girls or even your parents who didnt teach you manners clearly could tolerate your rudeness but not me!" I said and sat back
I was so not interested in an argument with him! And that too on the first freaking day
"You, dont cross the line okay" he said loudly and i ignored "is that clear?" He repeated
"Its okay, i can hear you, i chose to ignore the first time, what makes you think i will acknowledge the second?" I said and looked at him
Neil gave me that "uff that burns" expression when i looked at him and i laughed.
Everyone was hooting again at the comeback that i couldnt imagine I could give,maybe its right when people say "past changes you and makes you better" Soon the dean came in and greeted everyone, and began with the speech
"Here goes, boring speeches" he said to himself, loud enough for me to hear though as he plugged his ears with some cotton and i was shocked. Who the hell checked his papers and made him the topper!
"hello everyone, I am your dean, my name is Louis and I am glad to see you all here. First thing that you all may be wondering is that, there was going to be a GD and an interview before the admissions were confirmed right" (everyone shouts yes in unision)
"so to save you all this year, I convinced the VC to not do it this year" (everyone laughs happily) "now I know you all are tired and today is your first day so I wont bore you with long speeches, I just want to remind you all, that you are now the students of SPRINGFIELD, a place that produces Leaders and nothing else less than that, so we arent preparing you for examinations here, though its just a formality so you all have to give it anyways (everyone chuckles) we will transform you to better" " now, you all will be called department wise later, to form teams and to get your new technological phones, since you aint gonna be using the old one, I bought them by paying extra to the APPLE and these are your LOUIES." (he shows the louie and the hall gets filled with gasps and wows) "this have your information, your schdeule, any announcement would be on here and it has all the features you want, from camera to messaging to surfing the net to video calling" "you will be taught department wise, how to use them" "I will see you then only. GOODLUCK" he said and left the stage.
That topper guy just gave me a glare before leaving and I gave that fake smile and then turned around to find Neil, he was surrounded by girls. "umm, can I borrow him" I said and took his hand and moved with him to the dorm. The other girls were shocked to see me having him and taking him awayBut I don't care, i am his best friend afterall
IN THE DORM ROOM
SANKET's POV:
I jumped and laid on my bed, relaxed i just thought about my day! Looking back i do think, "why did i lose my temper over a bag?". Mayb because i was it same as her's! Ugh what has she made me, an angry person who bursted out on the first day!
But the new girl, damn, she was competitive, she had comebacks and all, i had seen many girls but she was different. If we would get along we would be like so cool. But she has a lot of attitude and i don't think we will get along anytime soon .
We will be just enemies! Forever
Why is this girl in my head anyways? The good part to look upon, i made a popular bad boy image haa, cool! I smirked ad then we were called down. I had to see that girl again.
Ughh stop thinking about her sanket and moveee
After lecturing myself to control my thought process for the stupid girl that i just met, I made my way to the auditorium!
Aashna's POV:
Me and neil happily came back to the dorm. We both sat on the comfortable couch, with our coffee mugs in our hand and my delicious coffee within it, we both discussed about what just happened
"dude, you were being sassy haa" Neil said as he took a sip from his coffee
I dont know was i?
"arey, even i didn't realise, but the way we bursted out with anger on me! I dont give that right to anyone" i said it as clear as i thought
Yup! Its better to say things straightforward on someone's face, so that they dont have false hope, even if thats your best friend!
"but those comebacks, i never knew this kind of aashna hegde!" He said as his phone buzzed and he looked at his screen and smiled but quickly hid it
Little did he know, i saw it!
"so get used to it" i said and kept my mug down and giggled
The smart TV then turned on and announced my department "Politics" to arrive at the auditorium!
"I will see yaa." I said keeping my coffee mug in the kitchen, i took my phone with me. I arrived at the auditorium and greeted Louis!
Soon that brat also came in and just the way he saw me greeting him, he left no chance and he too greeted Louis
Louis then asked all of us present there to take a seat everyone and after we all got settled , I realised that again unfortunately i had my seat next to him. He is so unbearable, thinking of him just gives me a headache!
"So guys, i am glad to have my two toppers, who will be the captains for your department, the face of the department in events etc" " now, i hope you all have got your phones (all say yes in unison). Good, so now, you will get your Louies and you can scan your phone apps and all information will come in it! Remember these are also going to be the key to your dorms, so dont misplace them and if you do, you inform me ASAP so that i can locate it for you" "now when ever you have to attend an call, you will open your louie and put it behind your ear, just like a carpenter puts a pencil. Simple" he said and we all nodded
"The captains however, will have a louie with different powers, since each of your department has a study room, it can be opened by the louies your captain have, your captains also have the power to shut your louies down in case of emergency, and the doors of the study room too" he said with a smile and handed us our louie, it looked the same yet the powers made it different. I scanned my phone and activated my louie.

"Now i want you all to keep your phones in the acrylic box and write your name on top of it, they wont be stolen and will be in my guidance for your persual" he said with a big smile.
We did as he told and as he was bout to leave i called for him "Mr. Osmond" i said and he turned around as my footsteps approached him
"Thank you so much for the opportunity, i promise there wont be complaints from my side" i said with a smile
After all many people did call me a nerd but I didn't mind that, its good to respect teachers and be in their good books! And i did like that
"Hey, Aashna, i know you can ace it, i see it in you! And call me Louis" he said and smiled and left
I was happy, i smiled looking at the small louie in my hand. Thats when someone hit my shoulder with theirs and said "NERD", it was expected that it would be him, what was his name again? Oh who cares! He is Mr Headache for me! I looked at him and scoffed. And moved to my room.
