My dad was dead, it was weird, i felt so happy i couldnt understand why.
Keisha hit me the minute i told her, she cried and locked herself in her room for a couple of days
We werent allowed to tell Lia, i dont think she would of understood that him going away would mean he would never come back
Zak and trey came to attend Jerichos funeral and jeromes, i didnt join either of their funerals.
Instead i stayed with Diamond, i wasnt going to let her out of my sight for one minute.
"Its over for good, right?" Diamond asked as she lay on my chest
I nodded
We were on a plane on our way back to New orleans, i resigned as the future owner of the mara salvatrucha. With jerome and jericho dead, and trey and zak underage. I gave my deeds over to June... its the least i could do to him after helping the federal prison capture banks.
June owned the mara salvatrucha now, and everything was in his name. Both him and Theo lived back in my mansion in harlem, theo already had a baby on the way which helped them more than i ever thought.
I wasnt the only one who resigned from something, a day ago cassie gave her badge in the federal prison and decided to work for los diamantes negros just like i planned.
"The pilot said Were about to land" JC said as he came over to our table
Even tho i wasnt the boss of the mara salvatrucha anymore JC stayed faithful to me and decided to work for the diamantes negros with me.
"Are you ready to meet my family" diamond smiled
"Durh" i replied messing her hair up
She rolled her eyes and grabbed my arm
"So what actually happend to the guy, jamar??" Cassie asked
"Well, uncle Mar said they have him held in the cellar for prisoners in the house, i havent figuered what im going to do with him just yet" diamond replied
"i think you should kill him" i told her
"Not just yet.. his my dads brother" she replied
"Take it from a guy who killed his dad and brother" i said
We all laughed
"What about trish, quan and paris?" Cassie said
"It was hard to let go of them but i ordered them to work for june, their my most trusted people. June will need them" i told her
It was just us on the jet, me, diamond, cassie and Jc
Keisha took lia to italy to give Lia a more normal life without any of us surrounding it

As soon as we landed in New Orleans i picked Diamond by her legs, she shrieked and laughed
I felt like she felt some type of guilt for killing my dad but it wasnt her fault, after all Jerome did kill her dad.
"Ive got some business to pick up here" she said as soon as i put her down
"Like what?" I asked her
"The last time i was here jamar said my mom was here in the city nearby" she replied
"What?!"
"Right!! I have a few words to say to that woman" she stated
I swallowed the lump in my throat, as i had just seen the reflection of my dad on the window, i rubbed my eyes like i was crazy! What was happening, why could i see my dad
"Hello? David! Is everything okay?" Diamond said
"Oh yeah! Come on lets go inside" i told her
When we entered the house, everyone welcomed me.
I couldnt believe it. I truly resigned as the leader of the Mara salvatrucha, it was worth it.
"Okay david im gonna leave with Uncle Mar now" diamond said to me
"Okay ill head in the shower" i replied
She got on her tip toes to reach me and gave me a peck.
"Call me" i told her
She rolled her eyes and speed walked out the door.
I hit the shower as soon as i got upstairs the water was warm, i was relaxed. It ran all across my body like a calm stream
And then, as soon as i opened my eyes hell hit loose, the water was starting to become Red.
I was showering with Blood!
I screamed without realising anything, my hands were filled with blood, the drain, the curtains the ceramic floor
The blood kept coming out non-stop, it was dark and concealing. Like the devil himslef, i blinked and blinked, blood!! Was jerome haunting me?
I quickly turned the shower off and began panting
"David... is everything okay?" Someone knocked
"Yeah.. sorry, urm everythings fine" i replied
I rubbed my eyes, over and over again. And then all of a sudden the blood was gone.. it just disappeared
I carefully turned the water back on.. it went back to its original colour
Thr momemt i closed my eyes for one slight second i saw Jeromes body smiling at me with blood smeared across his teeth
I began hitting the walls, what was wrong with me.
I wrapped my towel around me and pushed the curtains out the way, and grabbed my phone and started calling Diamond
"The number you have called is not availab-"

"Is he calling you again?" Uncle Mar asked
"Yeah, his probably asking for something stupid.. right now i just want to focous on what im going to tell my mom" i replied
This was the third time David called me.. i wonder what was up with him
"Okay were here" uncle mar said as he parked the car.
Butterflys began rising up to my gullet. I didnt want to do this anymore, i didnt want to see or speak to her
Uncle mar opened the door for me and we began walking
"She doesnt know that you guys are here?" I asked
"Nope, we spied on her a couple of times. And you might not like what you see" uncle mar replied
We carried on walking, there was a festival going on down the street, everyone was wearing colourful and festive colours.. if you werent blowing a trumpet you were dancing or chanting
"So what are we going to do with Jamar?" Uncle mar asked
"Ugh.. i need some advice with that" i told him
"Well.. as much as he is your dads brother he is still a threat to us, i told everyone he was evil!! But no-one believed me"
"Your right" i said
Then uncle mar stopped walking, he tapped my shoulder and i turned around
There was a woman i hardly recognised. As soon as she saw my face she dropped her grocery bags and took her hat off, hair flowing down all the way to her shoulders.. no cancer.. no nothing
She tried to give me a hug
"Dont touch me" i wisphered.
If i said anything louder than that tears would begin rushing down my face, i could feel the large lump of anxiety in my throat
"Diamond" she said on the verge of crying, she looked at me and then looked back at Uncle Mar
"You lied to me" i said in hate
"No, please... let me explain-" she said
"You dont get to do that! You dont get to explain why you lied about cancer! Abandonning me after the death of my father!! And eating my money" i said gaining my strength
"Its not like that i-"
"Lets go uncle mar, ive seen what i needed to see" i interrupted and faced uncle mar
I began walking towards the car, uncle mar shrugged his shoulders at my mom and walked behind me
"Diamond!! No come back please" my mom started pleading as she ran behind us
"WHY SHOULD I GIVE-"
"Mommy.. the ice cream truck left" a kid pouted behind my mom
I stopped walking
"Did he just call you mommy?" I asked, petrefied.
My mom nodded with tear marks on her face
I kneeled down on the floor to reach the height of the kid, he looked about 7, innocent and frightened
I opened my mouth, in shock
"I have a brother?" I asled bitting my lip and holding back my tears.
Uncle mar looked pretty shocked to
"D, ill stay in the car.. i think you should talk to her" uncle mar said.
I nodded, she really did have explaining to do.
But god i hated her with a passion, why does a selfish mother even exsist? I cant put into words how tired i am.. i spent blood wrecking money on her... literal blood-wrecking
We sat outside a cafe nearby, and watched the festival from far
"Years... you have lied to me for years, and you-" i couldnt even get the words out of my mouth
"Diamond! Nothing justifies why i left, but as soon as your dad died i couldnt take it, i left and if i came back.. there was nothing i could tell you" she said
"Did you even try?" I asked her
She didnt reply
"Ofcourse you didnt" i continued
"When i got to new orleans i fell in love with a man... we had michael right there" she said pointing at the boy
"Weres the man now?" I asked her
"His in prison.. ive been using your money to bail him out for years now" she replied
The sadness was gone.. instead it was replaced with rage and all i saw was the colour red
"You know what fuck you and your sorry ass excuses.. have a nice life, you and your kid" i said and got up
"Diamond please understand!" She said
"What is there to understand?? Do you want me to spell it out for you... F-U-C-K Y-O-U" i told her and walked all the way back to the car
As soon as i got in i slammed the door and crossed my arms
"What happend?" Uncle mar asked
"Shes been using my money to get a man out of jail" i responded
"What?!"
"I want nothing to do with her.. lets go back home" i said to him
He began driving.
There were no words that could explain how angry i was.
I had a half sibling.
And i didnt even know!!
Someone began calling Uncle mar
"Put it on loud speaker" i told him
"Hello?" Uncle mar asked
Someone was panting heavy on the other side of the phone which made me panick instantly
"Tell the boss... jamar escaped" they said
"WHAT?!" both me and uncle mar yelled.
Uncle mar stopped the car
"How did this happen?!" I yelled in anger
"We think someone inside the house might have helped him" they replied
"Were on our way home.. dont let anyone leave!!" Uncle mar yelled and accelerated the car to its full speed.
