JIMIN ;
it was finally round two and i was relaxing by my friends , they congratulated me for staying till the second round .
i of course thanked them , feeling like i was doing really good .. but then i started thinking & quickly humbled myself .
"jimin this next round is of backwards skating and vibing . you literally got this one in the bag ." yoongi spoke while slightly pushing my shoulder in a joking manner .
i giggled , "thank you , i will try my best" i spoke while stretching slightly , touching my toes .
as i was down i heard a few whistles , i quickly stood back up and turned around to see hoseok and jackson . i slightly blushed , before clearing my throat .
"hey jimin , i didn't expect you to be here !" hoseok exclaimed while smiling at me , i sheepishly rubbed the back of my neck .
"yeah .. im competing" i spoke , causing hoseok and jackson too look rather shocked .
"woahh , our friend is competing too .. i think he's in group five or something . we just got here so we missed out on the first round" jackson spoke up , wrapping an arm around hoseok's shoulder .
i nodded in reply but then a cough interrupted our conversation , i look over at the source to see gi , t , joon , and jin looking confused .
"and these guys are .." taehyung trailed of , waiting for an introduction .
"oh these are some guys i met yesterday , jackson and hoseok" i spoke up while gesturing to the males , they all exchanged handshakes and introduced themselves .
"may i get groups seven and eight out on the rink !! it is time for our backwards skating , our vibing round . the same rules from round one apply !! if your number is called out then you are disqualified !!"
"thats my que guys , i will see you before round three ! wish me luck !" i yelled out , while running over to the skaters of my group .
i could hear my friends cheering which boosted up my confidence .
backwards skating can be hard , you just got to trust yourself and then you'll be good .
(a/n: do not try this at home , sometimes trusting yourself doesn't always work-)
"THREE , TWO , ONE ... GOO !!"
once i heard the go i fell backwards , like i did during the warm ups- i stayed on the board and i glided backwards , i could sense what was around me- so bumping into others wasn't an issue for me .
"numbers 56 and 61 , disqualified !!"
'already ?' i thought to myself , feeling confused at how they're already out .
instead of focusing on them i chose to just worry about myself , & i soon fell into a relaxing headspace .
i felt like i was on cloud nine , i felt untouchable .
i was vibing , and it showed .
i got too caught up in my mind that i barely heard another skater being disqualified .
and before i knew it the round was completed .
"well skaters that is it for round two , the only numbers from groups seven and eight that are proceeding include 64 and 66 !! congratulations and good luck in the final round !!"
