1 month after our fight
The past month has been wild, Jeff got arrested for a DUI and we had to forfeit the Tag Team Championship. Sheamus got injured and that caused Cesaro to join forces with Nakamaura and Sami Zayn and put an end to our program with The Bar. I started a feud with Sami and beat him for the Intercontinental Championship which leads us to now. We're 4 weeks away from Summer Slam and tonight Smack down is in Jacksonville Florida. Since it's only a few hours from Orlando I headed up there early to go check out the Jaguars. They have practice going on today, I haven't been to a practice since Emma was younger and I'd take her to Atlanta to watch the Falcons. I became a fan of the Jaguars while I was working with AEW for that short period of time, I got to meet a lot of the players and some became friends of mine. All the free Jaguar stuff I got helped in me becoming a fan as well. While I was checking out the team I felt someone touch my shoulder and when I turned around it was Tony Khan.
Tony: It's been a while Oliver. How have you been?
Oliver: Pretty good, how about you?
Tony: Great man AEW has been killing it.
Oliver: I've been watching, I'm really happy for you guys.
Tony: I'm happy for you too Mr. Intercontinental Champion.
Oliver: Thanks.
Tony: Cody, Chirs, and a few of the other guys are at the stadium if you want to go catch up with them you're more than welcomed to.
Oliver: I got some time to kill so why not.
I went with Tony to the stadium to go see some of the guys. I spent some time talking with them for a few hours then I headed across the street to where Smack down was being held tonight. I just had to go a different way so nobody saw me. I didn't want to get fired for being around the enemy. Smack down starts tonight with Miz TV.
Miz: Welcome to the most must see talk show in WWE history. Welcome to Miz TV. Now tonight I have a very special guest so please welcome the Intercontinental Champion Oliver Pierce.
Oliver: Thank you for having me on the show Miz.
Miz: So how does it feel to hold my championship?
Oliver: I see where this is going Miz. Let me guess you want a shot at this title?
Miz: You aren't as dumb as you look. How about at Summer Slam you put that title on the line against me?
Oliver: You know what Miz? You're .........
I got cut off by Jackson coming down to the ring.
Jackson: Listen, if anyone here deserves a shot at that title it's me. I never got the chance to embarrass you even more by taking the NXT Championship from you so I thought to myself why not take the Intercontinental Championship.
Oliver: Still stuck in the past I see, that was two years ago Jackson. I've moved on to bigger and better things since then. I think it's time you do the same.
Jackson: If you're not going to give me what I want I guess I'll just have to take it then.
Oliver: Miz looks like we're going to have to fight another time.
I threw the mic down and Jackson and I started brawling in the ring. While we're fighting Sami Zayn, Nakamaura, and Ceasaro come running down the ring and I'm getting jumped. While the beat down is going on the crowd pops when the New Day's theme hits and they come down to even the odds. The locker room came out to break up the fight and then Shane McMahon came out.
Shane: Fellas enough. Since you guys want to fight how about we settle things in the ring tonight. In the main event Oliver and the New Day will team against Jackson, Sami, Shinskue, and Cesaro.
*Main Event*
I made my way out to the ring and then the New Day came out after me, then Jackson and his team came out. The ref rings the bell and the match is underway.
*End of Match*
Cesaro and I are the legal men, everyone is fighting outside the ring. Cesaro has me going in the big swing, he spun me around so much that he got himself dizzy and fell out of the ring but right as he was falling out Jackson made the tag and now he's legal. Once Jackson is in the ring the ref gets distracted on the outside because of the fighting so Jackson took advantage and he slid out of the ring and grabbed the Intercontinental Championship and once I got to my feet he hit me in the face with the title and then went for the cover. The ref counted to 3 and Jackson, Cesaro, Nakamaura, and Sami picked up the victory.
After the match I went backstage to shower and change, I was going to catch a ride with the New Day to get some food then head back to the hotel.
Big E: The night is still young gentlemen what do you say we go get some drinks.
Woods: I'm down.
Kofi: Say no more.
Big E: You down Oliver?
Oliver: Let me check with Lexi and make sure she's cool with it.
Big E: I know who wears the pants in that relationship.
I gave Big E the middle finger as we both laughed.
Oliver: (In text) Hey babe, do you care if I go out to get some drinks with the guys?
Lexi: I don't mind. I'll probably be sleeping by the time you get back though. I'm pretty tired.
Oliver: Alright, I just didn't want you to be worried that I haven't came back yet.
Lexi: Have fun with the boys.
Oliver: Goodnight babe.
Lexi: Goodnight
Oliver: Alright boys lets go.
We had a lot of fun we had a few drinks and just had a good time in general we didn't get drunk all we did was have a couple of beers and shoot the shit. After about 2 hours we got back to the hotel and when I walked into our room Lexi was already in bed sleeping, I changed into my joggers and took my shirt off then I kissed her forehead and went outside on our balcony for a few minutes to clear my mind. Lexi and I still have been fighting a lot lately and things aren't the way they once were. I was looking through the pictures on my phone and I found some from when Lexi and I first started dating. I came across the one of us we took at Disney when we were wearing Mickey and Minnie ears and were kissing. Then I came across another picture we took laying on the couch with the dogs and Larry Steve. I couldn't help but smile and think about all the good times we've had together.
Oliver: I really wish things were still like this. We were so happy and now we're always fighting.
I kept scrolling and I came across a picture from one of my trips with the Riott Squad when Liv and I had passed out in the backseat and Sarah drew on our faces with a sharpie. I cracked a smile and kept scrolling and then I saw the picture that Liv and I took in the locker room the night we faced Daria and Chad, she's on my back and we both have our tongues out. I decided to send her a text message. I doubted she was awake but I could really use a friend to talk to right about now.
*Liv's POV*
We just got back to our hotel from our live event and we were watching the WWE Network.
Ruby: What do you guys want to watch?
Sarah: Don't matter to me.
Liv: Can we watch Clash of Champions? I never watched our match back.
Ruby: Sure.
We were watching the match and I couldn't help but smile when I saw me and Oliver make our way to the ring.
*Midway through match*
Sarah: You two we're working very well together that night.
Ruby: You guys were a really good team.
Liv: Yeah, we really would make a cute couple.
Ruby and Sarah both looked at me and I felt my face turn really red. I just slid down in my seat because I was embarrassed.
Liv: Oops did I say that out loud?
Ruby: Liv Morgan you have feelings for Oliver don't you.
Liv: Yes, but he's with Lexi so none of that matters anyway.
I heard my phone go off and I looked and it was Oliver.
Liv: Eeek
Ruby: What?
Liv: Ollie just texted me.
Sarah: It's like he knew we were talking about him or something.
Ollie : (pic of us) I've been having a rough couple of days. I came across this and it made me smile. I miss you a lot, I hope everything is going well.
Liv : Awwww I love this picture. I miss you a lot too Ollie. Everything is good here, I'm with Rue and Sarah right now. Do you want to talk about what's been going on?
Ollie : Not really, I just wanted to let you know that I miss you and I've been thinking about you. Tell the girls I said hey.
Liv: You're the sweetest. I'll let you go get some sleep, I'll talk to you later and I'll tell them.
Ollie: Good night Gionna.
Liv: Good night Ollie

After I texted Gionna I looked at our picture one more time and couldn't help but smile.
Oliver: I think I love you Gionna.
