Let's take a few months leap. Bhavya recently entered her 9th month, so Rudra never left her side. Choti Radhika was 6 months old and loved her elder sister's company very much and would broadly smile whenever they played together. Chutki was much better, recovering well. Occasionally she would have a nightmare but the issue was easily tackled by both parents.
Shivaay: Anika
He called out to his wife who was brushing her hair
Anika: kya?
Shivaay: aaj Mom aari hai
Anika: I know
Shivaay: London se
Anika: I know that too
Shivaay: toh Chutki uske saath hogi and tum aur mein....
The last line resulted in his arms snaking around her figure and nuzzling into her neck. She kept the hairbrush aside and turned to him
Anika: I know what you mean. Lekin agar Chutki ko bura sapna aaya toh?
Shivaay: Mom ko pata hai kese handle karte. Aur agar humari zaroorat hai toh she can call us
Anika: are you sure it will work?
Shivaay: yes
It didn't take a second longer for Anika to make up her mind. In fact, her actions spoke for themselves, as her arms wrapped around his neck and her body leant against his. The two would have made out there and then if not Rudra entering and disturbing the moment.
Rudra: kuch toh sharam ki jiye aap dono. Darwaaza kabhi band nahi karte aap log.
Shivaay: bol, jaldi
Shivaay pointed to his watch and pretended to wait for a whole eternity
Rudra: Bhaabi, Bhavya aapko bula ri hai
Anika: mujhe? Okay mein aati
She quickly went to see Bhavya whereas Rudra was left to listen to the lecture.
Shivaay: agle baar ache time per aao. In fact maat aao in the first place. Tum toh.... humare romance ka number one dushman ho. Kabhi kaam hone deta bhi ya nahi? All I want is some quality tine with my lovely biwi, is it too much to ask?
Rudra simply nodded and swayed his head, pretending to listen. He was so fed up with Shivaay and his lectures. It's not like there's some sort of signal to warn him when he can enter.
Anika: Bhavya?
Anika called out as she reached the door of Bhavya's room.
Bhavya: jaldi aao aur darvaasa band karo
Her actions and tone of voice made Anika worry, so she immediately did as she was told and rushed to Bhavya, who was sitting in the bed.
Anika: kya hua Bhavya?
Bhavya: please get rid of Rudra for some time. Mera dimaag kharab ho gaya. Kab se twins ke saath baate kara hai aur mujhe utne bhi nahi deta. Bhaabi agar aap kuch nahi karegi toh mein sach mein pagal ho jaoungi
Anika laughed at this. She was so cute
Anika: awww, chinta maat kar it's fine
Bhavya: it's not fine Bhaabi, okay I have twins lekin usne esa banaya ki walk karna ek crime hai. Police wali mein hoon, voh nahi
Anika: shaant Bhavya
Anika cupped her face and smiled
Bhavya: kya?
Anika: you're so cute
Bhavya: okay, aab problem pe dhyaan do
Anika: dekh Bhavya, tumhare godh mein 2 bache hai. Isi liye Rudra bohot concerned hai. You know bohot mushkil hota hai doh bache ko carry karna. Kaafi dard hota toh he just doesn't want you to get hurt
Bhavya gave an uncertain look. She agreed with her Bhaabi but still wanted to walk around.
Anika: I'll speak to Rudra, kuch sort out karenge hum
She could easily identify the look on Bhavya's face, so smiled before leaving. She had just opened to door to leave when she saw Rudra standing with his arms crossed
Anika: Rudra please mujhe kuch baat karna hai
Rudra: Bhavya....
Anika: Rudra
Her stern voice worried him so he immediately listened and did as she told
Rudra: voh theek hai?
Anika: relax, sab kuch bilkul theek hai. Actually mujhe kuch baat karna tha
Rudra: bataye Bhaabi
Anika: Rudy shayad yeh tere lite jhatka jese lagega lekin...
Rudra: lekin...?
His eyebrows were raised as he waited for an answer.
Anika: Bhavya can walk. Pregnant hone ka yeh matlab nahi hota ki permanent bed rest per hona zaroori
Rudra: Aur agar usko dard laga toh?
Anika: she's gonna tell you agar voh hota. Dekh, chalna bohot important hai Bhavya ke liye.
Rudra: mein bas...pata nahi kyu I'm scared agar kuch ho jata toh
Anika: sab theek hoga
She kept her hand on his shoulder in reassurance
Rudra: thanks, samjhane ke liye. Agar Bhaaiya hota toh file deh ker bolta 'parlo'
Anika: aab andhar jao aur Bhavya ko garden mein leker jao
Rudra smiled before entering the room. Anika went to continue in her works before Shivaay found her and started his romance session.
Meanwhile, Little Chutki was roaming the great halls of the Oberoi Mansion looking for fun when she decided to visit her Prinku Bua. She ran ahead and didn't bother to knock the door. The tiny girl pushed the door open.
Chutki: Prinku Bua........
She quickly halted and covered her eyes with her tiny palms. Priyanka was also dying in shame, after all she was caught by her niece, nearly kissing a man.
Chutki: Ranveer Uncle?
The two adults were drowning in embarrassment, when Anika came along and saw the scene. She came to find her princess and when she did, Anika's hands covered her eyes and turned the girl around.
Anika: hawww, Priyanka? Mujhe Shivaay ko bolna padta ki khula khulam romance nahi karna, ghar mein bache ghoomte. Mujhe esa kabhi nahi laga ki yeh mujhe tujhse bhi bolna padega
That was when she recognised the man beside her
Anika: Ranveer? Police wala? Kya baat hai Prinku. Chal Chutki, Gauri Maasi ke paas jao.
She sent the little one away and teased the 'love-struck teens'. Anika didn't forget to close the door.
Priyanka: Bhaabi, hum bas ek case discuss kare the
Anika: oh really? Mujhe nahi pata tha ki log haath pakadakar case discuss karte
Priyanka then noticed their interlocked hands, and snatched her hand away.
Ranveer: Anika Bhaabi please
He shyly whispered.
Anika: dates per gaye?
Ranveer: does hospital count?
Anika shook her head negatively
Priyanka: phir nahi
Anika: toh jaaye phir.
Priyanka: aap naraz nahi hai, ki yeh baat humne chupaya
Anika: naraz kyu hogi? Mujhe sirf yeh lagta ki you should spend time away from work. Ese tujhe pata chalega ki are you guys compatible. Phir uske baad, humare paas aao
Ranveer: thank you Bhaabi, samajhne ke liye
Anika cupped their faces.
Anika: dekh kohi objection nahi hai. Aur tu Ranveer, meine tujhe apna chota bhai maan liya naa?
Ranveer nodded and smiled at his elder sister. Indeed she was right, they cared for one another. He really wished for her approval of his and Priyanka's secret rishta.
Anika: aab jaldi baar jao, cafe mein aur kuch baate karo
Ranveer: I know a good place, chalegi?
He asked turning to Priyanka, and she nodded in response. Like a gentleman, Ranveer forwarded his arm for Priyanka to interlock with hers.
Anika: haye mein marjaavaan
She did the famous 'nazar naa lage' action and wished the two well
Priyanka: Bhaabi ek aur request, agar aap mind nahi karege
Priyanka stopped as they both turned separate ways in the hallway.
Anika: bolo Prinku
Priyanka: kisi ko maat bataye. Jab tak hum dono kuch sort out nahi karte, hume yeh secret rakhna chaahte
She hesitated slightly since it was new to hide things from her beloved family.
Anika: of course guys, secret rehga
She pretends to zip her lips before walking off to her room. Moments after she stepped in, Shivaay covered her eyes with his hands
Anika: Shivaay I swear agar aapke dimaag mein kohi gandhe khyaal hai toh abhi chodo
Shivaay got a little worried since his wife's voice held a teensy bit of irritation. He withdrew his hands and looked at her concerned.
Shivaay: all okay?
Anika smiled and chuckled, making Shivaay realise she wasn't upset. He noticed some clothes in her hand and she was walking to the bathroom
Shivaay: kya kari ho tum Anika?
Anika: mann kara tha ki shower karo
She walked towards the washroom door and closed it almost all the way. The slightly ajar door caught Shivaay's attention as he also heard the water begin to rush down
Shivaay: Anika door
He called out, but then saw her peeking figure wrapped in a towel behind the door
Anika: Shivaay, kyu naa hum paani bachaa ker saath mein....
There was no need to finish the sentence as Shivaay jumped up and sprinted to join her. After their hot, steamy shower romance, both of then came out with a blushing face.
Shivaay: ek aur kiss?
Without waiting her response he leans in but the cursed phone decided to ring.
Shivaay: hello?
Pinky: haa, Shivaay?
Shivaay: ji Mom
Pinky: mera India aana ka plan cancels hua
Shivaay: kyu, kuch hua?
Pinky: badi baat nahi, sirf kuch chote mote problems hai
Shivaay: toh aap nahi aane wale?
Pinky: sorry, nahi aa paoungi mein
Shivaay: okay, well take care
Pinky: haa, aab challo bye
Shivaay cut the call and sighed
Anika: kya hua?
Shivaay: humare saare plans ke tai tai phis
Anika: tai tai phis?
Shivaay: Mom ne apna yaha aane ka plan cancel kiya
Anika: oh no, sab theek toh hai naa?
Shivaay: yes, nothing to worry about
Anika sensed how he was a little frustrated with all his plans being canceled.
Anika: kuch sort out karenge hum
Shivaay: right mein jaake Chutki ko dhoond tha
He left to search for his princess. After finding her they had some nice father-daughter time. The day quickly passed and the group had finished having dinner. They were all gathered in the hall.
Shivaay: Ani you know agar Dadi Punjab nahi jaati toh voh Chutki ka khyaal rakh sakti
He sarcastically taunted, remembering to keep his volume low and quiet.
Anika: Shivaay iss romance ke liye matlab, kuch bhi?
Shivaay: Not just that. Incident ke baad she hasn't slept without us in the same room. Agar kisi aur ke saath sone lag jaati toh shayad she'll be more comfortable
Anika: hmmm
Shivaay: just so you know, also for the....
The voice trailed off as he thought of teasing her. The mere thought of the ecstasy it bought to them coloured her cheeks in a red hue
Bhavya: Bhaabi, aap theek toh hai naa?
Her gaze shifted from Shivaay's eyes to Bhavya, confused at what happened
Anika: haan, kyu?
Bhavya: aapke gaal poore laal ho gaye
Anika's hand moved up to her face and touched her cheek. Not that she could feel any burning sensation or anything, but due to embarrassment
Anika: garmi
She looked at Shivaay hoping for help. To her dismay he shrugged his shoulders intentionally. As if he didn't know. Shivaay looked beyond her as a figure caught his eye. Getting a proper view of the girl, his heart began to dance.
Shivaay: Sakshi!
Before he could run up and greet her, he whispered to Anika quickly.
Shivaay: Mom nahi aa sakti thi, lekin Sakshi toh hai naa?
Anika rolled her eyes and watched Shivaay welcome his sister. The rest of them were happy as well, but just couldn't understand why he seemed to be celebrating like a mad man.
At the entrance, Shivaay hugged her tightly and placed numerous kisses on her hair, between which he looked up and thanked God for sending her.
Shivaay: Sakshi, I haven't seen you in time yaar, kya haal chaal
Sakshi: meine socha ki as Bhavya is nearly due, voh bhi doh bache ke saath. You could use and extra hand around here
Shivaay: YES OH MY GOSH SAKSHI YESSSSS
He received weird and confused looks for that reaction, so thought to tone it down a little.
Shivaay: yes, bohot acha idea hai. Now if you don't mind, Chutki tumhare kamre mein soh sakti, right?
Anika face palmed herself. Like, that was a little to quick Shivaay.
The others in the room finally understood what was going on and couldn't help but laugh on his eagerness.
Sakshi: of course Bhaaiya. Bhaabi ko itna wait karvaana achi baat nahi hai
Anika: Sakshi?
Sakshi: matlab enjoy, I'll go freshen up. Aaja meri Titli, dekho Sakshi Bua is here
She abruptly left picking up Chutki in her arms, followed by others who indirectly wished Anika and Shivaay a 'good night'
Luckily for them, the night was indeed a 'good' one, since the two found comfort lying in the arms of each other. Once again they consummated their marriage
