Now to say this wasn't Taylor's favorite Christmas song was an understatement. She freaking loved this song, she has played it on repeat over and over again. During the Glee performance Taylor danced with Sam and her sister. She wrapped tinsel around her boyfriend and they goofed around. They had the happiest smiles on their faces, which didn't go unnoticed by Santana. But what Santana didn't see was the blonde was staring at the girlfriends flirting with each other just as much. The two girls still have not spoken to each other and it was killing both of them. But they were both too similar and stubborn to do anything about it.
"So what are your Christmas plans this year?" Taylor asked her boyfriend who was across the piano
"Think I'm going to go back home. I know it's a long drive but it's worth it" Sam shrugged
"I agree, you should always be with family and the ones you love on Christmas" Taylor agreed walking over to her boyfriend and rubbing his shoulder "Plus, I know you really miss them"
"Your welcome to join you know" Sam offered "I mean I want to be with the one I love"
Taylor gushed at her boyfriend, she loved hearing those words come out of his mouth "I would love too, but I think I'm gonna stay home with Quinn. Being home has made me realize how close we were and I want to spend as much time with her before the school year ends"
"Sounds like a good plan" Sam commented "But just know that my Christmas present this year isn't gonna be anything under the tree. It's you"
Taylor couldn't hide her blush from the blondes words, she couldn't agree more. But in the back of her mind the Latina did come up. She then thought about how she would love to be able to spend Christmas with her. It was their favorite time of year but sadly she knew that wasn't going to happen.
"Hey you okay?" Sam asked his girlfriend seeing the girl look down as she thought about Santana
"Hmmm....y-yeah just thinking about how happy I am to have you here" Taylor had lied while looking up at her boyfriend.
"Me too" Sam beamed
Taylor has never seen Sam so happy before, even when they were dating in the summer. That just made Taylor hate herself because of course she was happy to be with him, but she still thought about Santana everyday.

"Hey sis" Taylor jumped as she reached her twin sisters locker
"Hey" Quinn smiled back while shutting her locker
"So tell me, how can I prepare myself for a Fabray Christmas. I haven't been to one in years" Taylor asked while linking her arm with her sister while they walked down the hall
"You're not going to Sam's?" Quinn questioned thinking that was her sister first choice
"I'd love to spend Christmas with him, but I would rather spend it with my sister. We were so close when we were younger and I want to get back to that Quinn. This is our last year together before we have to separate again, and this time I want to keep in touch" Taylor explained
"I'm really happy your back Taylor" Quinn admitted with a smile
"Me too" Taylor confessed as they both stopped in the hallway to hug each other.
"I thought I was your third choice to spend Christmas with" Quinn laughed as they continued to walk down the hall
"Who was my second?" Taylor wondered
"Santana" Quinn said which made Taylor's face turn white "Since you've been back you've spent the most time with her"
"Y-Yeah that's not gonna happen" Taylor stuttered which caught Quinn's attention
"What's going on with you two? I haven't seen you guys together since Sa-oh"Quinn said in realization
"Oh what?"
"Let me guess, she's mad because you didn't tell her about Sam" Quinn commented as the girls reached the choir room and sat down next to each other all the way in the back so no one was near them
"How-how did you know?" Taylor asked
"I might have been to one who told her" Quinn confessed and Taylor's face went red "She was looking for you one day and I told her you were probably with Sam. She asked 'why' and I told her about the summer. I'm sorry, I didn't know you were keeping it a secret."
"Thanks" Taylor sighed while putting her face in her hands
"Why does it matter so much anyway?" Quinn questioned thinking that Santana should be happy for her sister
"It's-It's complicated Quinn" Taylor mumbled with her face still in her hands
"Tell me" Quinn said while Taylor looked up at her sister "You said you want us to get closer. So tell me what's going on"
Taylor sighed into her hands and sat up. She looked at her twin sister, she knew that she could trust her and that talking about it might help her.
"Fine, but you have to sister swear to keep it to yourself" Taylor swore and Quinn nodded as the sisters locked both their pinkies together. Then Taylor told Quinn...she told her everything. She told her about Santana and her in middle school. About how they have kissed and confessed their love for each other but Santana was with Brittany. And Taylor being the girl she is didn't want to hurt Brittany. And to be honest, Quinn wasn't that surprised about any of it.
"Thanks to you she found out about Sam before I could talk to her about it. Now she won't even talk to me" Taylor admitted while leaning back in her chair with her arms crossed. Quinn sighed and rubbed her sisters shoulder "I never knew it was possible to love two people at the same time. It might sound fun, but it is absolutely horrible. I'm so so happy to be with Sam and have him here, but Santana is always in the back of my mind. I can't just focus on one and it's draining"
Before Quinn could answer her sister Finn and Rory came in. Finn announced that Rory was gonna sing them song. Quinn looked at her sister one last time before turning he attention to Rory. He decided to sing "Blue Christmas", which was fitting. During the performance Santana and Taylor would look at each other just thinking about being able to spend Christmas with each other right now. In any way, whether that was friends or girlfriends. Taylor looked across the room at Santana, who happened to be staring right back. They just stared into each other eyes until Santana broke eye contact when Rory finished and they all started clapping.
"Gosh, that song was so depressing. I may actually be dead right now" Santana mocked trying to show Taylor she wasn't affected
"I-I think, what Santana means is, although that...that was mournfully now that the whole glee club is back together, I think that we should focus on the more joyous and the pageant aspect of the holiday season" Rachel fixes which makes Taylor role her eyes and just lean back in her chair and tone everyone out. But she did hear that the group was gonna be in a Christmas special on tv, but honestly she didn't really care.

The New Directions were in the auditorium listen to Rachel sing a song for Artie. Taylor and Sam were sitting next to each other, which his arm around her shoulder. Personally, Taylor did not like director Artie. He was so rude and judgmental, she was not excited about the special at all.
"The Frosty story isn't fun. At the end, he melts and dies." Taylor explains to Artie as he goes over his scarp idea for the show.
"I'm rebooting Frosty. In my version, he doesn't melt. He...well, new pages forthcoming" Artie says which makes Taylor annoyed
"What's wrong with a story that's a little sad. Or a song that's a little depressing I mean, that's part of Christmas, too right? It's the sad things that make you remember what's really important" Sam says standing up and Taylor full heartedly agreed. If it wasn't for her sad story of her parents kicking her out, she wouldn't realize the importance of loving herself and surrounding herself with people who love her for her.
"Sorry, Sam, but the phrase is 'Merry Christmas,' not 'Morose Christmas'. That's the vision. That's what you have to buy into" Artie persuads
"Well, sorry, Artie I'm not buying into it" Sam utters
"Neither am I, without sadness their is no story" Taylor agrees while standing up next to her boyfriend
"We're gonna go downtown, see if we can ring one of those Salvation Army bells. Come on, Rory. I'll give you a ride." Sam says and they start walking away but Rory didn't follow them
"I should memorize my part, Sam" Rory mutters
Sam shrugs his shoulder as he starts walking away, Taylor closely behind. Taylor catches up her boyfriend and grabs his hand as the walk out of the auditorium together.
"I don't get them, don't they realize that without sadness they wouldn't be who they are today. There are some people out their so less fortunate but so much more grateful then they are" Sam complained as they walked down the hallway hand and hand
"When it comes to getting attention they become blindsided by it. But hey..." Taylor says bringing them to a stop and turning Sam's cheek to look at her "I know exactly what you mean. Without going through the sad part of my life, I would have never meet you. It makes me who I am and I'm proud of that"
Sam smiled down at his girlfriend and brought her in for a kiss
"How'd I get so lucky" Sam sighed while putting his hand on Taylor's cheek. The two smiled at each other and walked out of the school together.
What they didn't see was Santana coming out of the choir room and listening in to the whole conversation.
'I need to do whatever I can to end those two. Taylor is mine' Santana thought as she smirked walking into the auditorium

Taylor, Quinn and Sam were all at the homeless shelter serving food to the homeless. These three know more than anyone what it's like to be less fortunate. From Sam's family being homeless to Quinn and Taylor both getting kicked out of their house. They do whatever they can to help people like the people who helped them.
"What?" Quinn questioned as she saw Sam looking at her weirdly. Taylor was in between them serving food.
"Everyone's just been telling me you've been having a rough year, but you seem pretty good to me." Sam admitted while still serving food
"I'm better" Quinn replied which made Taylor smile at her sister and she smiled back "Think I was just stuck focusing on everything I didn't have and none of the stuff was good. Stuff in the future"
"I'm glad you turned it around" Sam said
"I agree" Taylor smiled "I didn't like that goth look you had going on. I like this Quinn better, the one who is my true sister"
"Portion control, Bee Sting. Come on." Sue interrupted squeezing in between the twins "Guess you're just not used to being on this side of the serving line"
"Seriously though, I don't think we have enough food for everybody" Quinn worried
"Economy gets bad, people give less" Sue sighs
"Hey!!" The three blondes and Sue look up to see the whole glee gang coming in
"I know we're late, but we were all hoping there's still time to help. We brought the turkey from the special with all the fixings." Artie said
"Yeah, it's a prop but it's real" Will added
"Why don't you put it on the table over there, kiddo." Sue directed
"You guys finally came around?" Sam asked
"Well, you can thank Rory for helping us see the light" Finn explained
"I was just following my Christmas sponsor's lead" Rory informed which made Sam smile
"We have a song too. We were gonna perform it. Is that okay?" Artie asked
"As long as it's not Jingle Bells" Quinn recommend
"It seem it's the only song our janitor knows how to play, and it's making my ears bleed" Taylor joked while looking at the group in front of her. She saw Santana and they both look at each other. Taylor smiled and Santana returned it.
The three blondes going their Glee club as the started singing. Taylor swayed back and forth between her sister and boyfriend. In that moment she was more thankful than anyone because she realized how fortunate she is to be here instead of alone with her grandparents like usual. She look to her right and saw her favorite Latina singing and she knew that she needed to get the girl back.
