"Heh heh heh," Naruto laughed a little bit as he slashed through the sound ninja at random. Flipping over one of them, he wrapped one of his arms around a sound ninja's neck and twisting over them and placing his feet on his back before using his feet to push off of him, a loud snap echoing in the village before he furtherly pushed himself off, flipping over several ninja before making two hand seals and incinerating them with a fireball.
His Sharingan spun in circles as his eyes darted back and forth as he fought off several shinobi at once, expertly dodging and reflecting attacks right back at them. He saw Kurenai also fending off several shinobi by herself but she was slowly but surely getting overwhelmed by the sheer number of them.
"Move," Naruto ordered as he quickly stuck a kunai into the back of a shinobi's skull. "Get out of my way, I won't let her die!" He said as he quickly jumped into the air only to be surrounded by several more shinobi. "You're in my way!" He shouted as his Sharingan morphed into its Mangeykou state.
"NOW MOVE!" He shouted as his right eye began bleeding profusely as all of the shinobi within ten meters from him all exploded in unison as he clenched his fist tightly, their blood raining on the battlefield and falling onto the blonde's hair, slowly making it crimson red as he moved forward, now duel wielding both of his swords as he literally tore through the crowd that separated him from Kurenai.
"No," He spoke.
She had been stabbed several times in the chest and even had one of her fingers cut off. It was a brutal death. He got closer and felt his throat tighten up.
It was Izumi.
"I won't allow it." He growled as he was about thirty meters away from Kurenai now.
Itachi fell into Naruto's arms, his eyes devoid of any life, blood leaking into the water below them and onto Naruto's hands, staining them red.
"Not again!" 20 meters.
Naruto's eyes began burning as tears started forming in his eyes. "Are there any survivors?" He asked.
"Only one," Hiruzen stated. "Sasuke Uchiha survived, and that is it." Naruto felt his heart sink into his stomach.
"That means. . ." Fugaku. . . Mikoto. . . They were gone. . .
"I will not allow anybody else I care about to die while I have the power to stop it!" Naruto shouted at the top of his lungs as the ground around him suddenly cracked as a dark blue chakra began swirling around him as the wind began picking up.
Badass moment coming up here in a minute
"And if I have to murder everyone in my path to protect them," Naruto spoke as his left eye began spinning as blood began pouring out. "Then I will bear those sins, Amenominakanushi!"
The world around Naruto Namikaze began to slow down to the point where a child could easily see what was about to happen on the battlefield. Taking a deep breath, Naruto kept his left eye open, straining as more blood pooled out.
He ran forward, using his right hand to hold a kunai as he slit the throat of every single enemy shinobi in proximity, not that they knew that their throats had been slit. The small lines have yet to even form at their necks, let alone the blood to come out.
This was Naruto's second Mangekyou ability: Amenominakanushi. This gave him the ability to slow time for as long as he wanted as long as he kept the Jutsu activated and his left eye open.
Naruto closed his left eye as all of the shinobi that were attacking them fell to the ground, blood leaking from their necks.
"Good," Naruto spoke before he fell to one knee, clutching the left side of his head.
"Huh? What happened?" Kurenai asked before she saw Naruto next to her and her eyes widened in worry. "Naruto, are you fine? What happened?"
"You wouldn't believe me if I told you," He said as he chuckled a bit, standing up as he wiped the blood away from his face, the faint stain of red lingering upon his skin. "Come on, we're not done yet."
"Are you sure you have enough chakra left?" Kurenai asked. Naruto flashed a bright smile and Kurenai felt the warmth from it and couldn't help but smile back despite being surrounded by hundreds of corpses.
"I'm fine. Thank you for worrying about me." Kurenai wasn't sure what she felt for the blonde. She was older than him by nine years and yet, he was a handsome young man that had one of the most successful shinobi careers of all time.
But, there was a looming darkness hanging over his head. She could at least tell that much, how dark was the darkness she did not know. But she felt it every time something went wrong or when someone was in danger, Naruto would then cover it with a bright smile.
It was weird.
Her thoughts were interrupted when a slow clapping was heard. The duo looked over and saw a skinny pale man with long black hair and bright green eyes with a sick smile on his face. Behind him were Ishida, Kishimoto, and Toriyama with a gagged Anko who was tied up behind them.
"Give me back Anko." Naruto immediately said without hesitation. Orochimaru laughed.
"Give her back? My dear little student is not just some thing one can just own, and if she was," He smirked cruelly. "Then she definitely does not belong to you. I found her, practically raised her and trained her! If she is a possession then she belongs to me!"
"She hates you," Naruto responded. "Now give her back or else!"
Damn, just now realizing you guys never seen Naruto go all out before. Welp. Let's get on with Naruto's first ever seriously pissed off fight as an adult.
"I think not, in fact, how about we make her scream instead?" He held up a single hand sign before the curse mark on Anko's neck began glowing red as she let out an agonized muffled scream due to the gag.
"STOP THIS NOW!" Naruto shouted, all signs of fatigued he had shown before was now gone. "I swear to everything I'll-"
"You'll what? Kill me? I'm one of the Three Legendary Sannin boy, you cannot do anything to me!"
"AGHHHH!" Anko screamed again. Naruto turned a bright yellow and flashed away before flashing back to where he had been originally with Anko in his arms, making Orochimaru's eyes widen as his smirk increased.
"Kurenai," Naruto spoke as his golden form faded away, his voice void of any emotion. "Take Anko and get away from here." Kurenai's red eyes widened at the tone of his voice. It gave no room for any arguments.
For the first time in her life, she was seeing Naruto, the true Naruto. Not the man who hid behind a smile, but the man who wanted to protect everything he held dear.
This was the true Naruto Namikaze.
"O-Okay," She stuttered as she took Anko from his arms.
"Now run." Was all he said before turning around, taking off his black cloak and letting it fall to the ground, his three tomoed Sharingan active. "Orochimaru, I hope you have everything arranged, for I have no plans on letting you live."
"Big words," Orochimaru said as he grinned. "For a small boy. Ishida, get Anko back for me and kill the woman."
"Yes, Orochimaru-sama." Ishida got out as he disappeared from sight, only to stop about halfway as Naruto held him by his throat.
"B-But how? I teleport, how did you grab me out of my teleportation?" He managed to get out. Naruto tightened his grip around his neck.
"You needn't worry about such trivial things," Naruto said as he squeezed as hard as he could, a loud resounding crack coming from his body before he went limp in Naruto's grip. "You're already dead." He dropped the dead body and glared at Orochimaru who was visibly shocked at the display.
"Impressive," Orochimaru said. "Ishida was the third strongest in the entire village, and you just killed him like that! How much power do you have Namikaze?"
"I won't need Kurama to deal with trash like you," Naruto said as he walked towards Orochimaru calmly, confidence radiating off of him that sent shivers down Toriyama's and Kishimoto's spines.
"Kukuku, my my Naruto, you're quite the specimen. I've heard many rumors of your strength, there are whispers that you even rival the Hokage himself! I want to see your power and see if those words have any value!" Orochimaru shouted.
"You're wrong, Orochimaru. Those rumors of me rivaling the Hokage are completely untrue." Naruto then let a smirk cross his face before popping his shoulder and vanishing from Orochimaru's sight, only to reappear just a foot away from the Sannin. "I surpassed him almost two years ago!" He then proceeded to backhand the Sannin across the ruins of the small outpost.
"What the hell?" Kishimoto uttered, his bald head glistening with sweat as he took several steps back. "O-Orochimaru-sama?" He whispered in total fear.
"Quit shaking in your own boots!" Toriyama shouted as he glared at Naruto. "He's only one man!" Naruto held his hand on the hilt of his sword before Ishida reappeared behind his teammates and flashed them away from Naruto and behind Orochimaru, who had recovered from his initial shock from being struck.
"Orochimaru-sama, what should we do?" He asked. Naruto rose an eyebrow.
"I could've sworn I killed you," Naruto wondered aloud. Ishida laughed a little.
"You grabbed me mid-teleportation, but you can't break my deck. Due to Orochimaru-sama's blessings, my bones are quite malleable, that bone you thought you heard snap was sound I've been able to replicate with my throat by listening to the sounds of constant bones shattering."
"If your bones are so malleable, why is your right arm gone?" Ishida's eyes widened in shock as he looked at his right arm, only to find it missing. He looked over and found that his arm was lying in the dirt where they had been standing just moments ago.
"Holy shit," Kishimoto got out.
"Quite petty, Naruto-kun," Orochimaru spoke. "You spared Kishi and Tori just to cut off Ishi's arm? I'm impressed and yet, for some reason terrified. I'm beginning to figure you out, kukuku!"
"You know nothing of me, trash." Naruto responded calmly before the wind began picking up around him, his blonde locks waving in the wind for a second. He quickly flicked his sword backward as the earth behind him rose several hundred feet in the air, the shadow enveloping the area.
"Oh? You're an earth nature type? I would've never guessed," Orochimaru stated in an excited tone. "Tell me, what jutsu is that? I'm not familiar and it looks quite powerful?" Naruto rose an eyebrow.
"What Jutsu?"
Orochimaru's eyes widened.
"Heh heh heh," Orochimaru chuckled loudly. "I'm going to leave now, but feel free to play with your new toys!"
"Orochimaru-sama?" Ishida spoke in a betrayed voice. Orochimaru grinned.
"No hard feelings, but if I were to stay then I would most likely perish. I need a body up to par with this boy's. Goodbye now!" Orochimaru then disappeared into the ground.
"Hmph, your creepy ass master betrayed you to die. How fitting." Naruto then pointed the sword at the trio of Sound Jounin. "Now it's time for a Jutsu." The huge wall of earth began glowing a bright blue before it began thinning out as several large long spikes appearing on the wall before he grinned.
"When you get there, tell the shinigami that Naruto Namikaze will be there soon." He whispered before sheathing his sword. "Now perish." Naruto snapped his finger as the spikes suddenly shot forward and impaled the trio Jounin, killing them all instantly.
Naruto's serious demeanor suddenly changed as he grinned. "Well, that's enough for today. Time to go home."
And done. A little rushed by I'm tired. How was it anyway? Good? Bad? Tell me!
