MERIELLE'S POV
"Thank you for taking me to your study, Lucifer," I said with a grateful smile. "It really is quiet in here."
"No problem," he answered.
"Are your brothers really not allowed in here?" I asked.
"Not without my permission. You are not an exception there, but I will allow you more often," he answered.
"Thanks again," I said.
"Don't mention it," Lucifer said and went to his desk.
I pulled out my phone and started browsing through my downloaded pieces of music. I am still using my human world phone since all of my favorite music is downloaded there.
"Hmmm... hmm... hmmm..." I hummed.
"That sounds like an interesting song," Lucifer said as he smiled.
"Oh! Yeah, but I don't think it is your thing," I said as politely as I could.
"Do I know that song?" Lucifer asked.
"Well, do you listen to Filipino songs?" I asked.
"No," he answered.
"Then you probably don't know this one. You probably won't even understand it," I said.
Lucifer walked towards me. "I might not be able to understand it, but I might still like the music. Why don't you play it?"
"Uhhmmm... okay?" I said and pulled off my headphones and unplugged it from my phone.
I turned the volume high up so the music can be heard well. The lively music gave a smile to Lucifer's face. I know he could not understand some parts of it because it is in my native language, but he can still understand some of it because a little part of the song is in English.

All throughout the song, I looked at Lucifer to see what his reaction would be. Would he be weirded out? Will he hate it? Even though those thoughts run through my head, I couldn't help singing along with the catchy song.
Lucifer stayed looking at my phone as he listened to the song. His hand on his chest and he wore a slight smile on his face. I guess he does like it? I dared to ask the question at the end of the song.
"I like it," he answered after I asked. "It is really catchy."
"Do you want to listen to more of the songs in my playlist?" I asked with a smile.
"What's a playlist?" he asked.
Seriously? He doesn't know what a playlist is? What is he? A '90s kid? Even Levi knows what a playlist is and Levi is his third younger brother!
I mentally facepalmed myself at that thought.
Of course, he doesn't know. For one thing, Levi is super into gadgets for his games. So, he really knows its features. Second, Lucifer is a mature-brother type who spends his time devoted on his work most of the time.
"A playlist is a list of songs," I explained. "You choose which songs you like best, download them, make a folder on your phone... or D.D.D. and play it. It is just like your CDs of songs."
"Ah. I see..." Lucifer said. "Well, I would like to listen to this playlist of yours."
"On it!" I said happily and played the next song.
"Feel free to look around, just be careful not to break or ruin anything," Lucifer said as he sat on his seat.
"Thanks," I said as I looked at all the books.
All of his books are so interesting! I wish I could read them all! Has he really read all of this? So amazing!
"So you listen to these kinds of songs?" Lucifer said in a teasing voice, but his teasing voice is... n-nevermind.
"Why? What's wrong with it?" I asked as I turned around to face him. He is still sitting on his seat.
"Do you not listen and try to understand the meaning of the songs that you are listening to?" he teased again.
"Of course, I do!" I said.
"Then have you tried listening and actually understanding the meaning of this song that is playing from your playlist right now?" he asked with a smirk.
I haven't been focused on listening to the song that is currently playing on my phone since Lucifer gave me permission to look around in his study! I looked at my phone and listened.

"OH... MY... SPARKLES!" I said and quickly reached for my phone to try to stop the music.
But Lucifer grabbed it first and hoisted it high so I couldn't reach it.
"Give it back!" I shouted as I jumped to reach. Why am I so short?!
"Why would I?" he teased.
"Stop the music!" I said.
"But I want to listen to your playlist," he said, still wearing that smirk.
"You will! But I will just change the song!" I said, still trying to reach for my phone.
"Why are you blushing?" he suddenly asked.
"Wait... what?!" I shouted.
Unfortunately, after that, I made a wrong jump. I got out balanced and grabbed on Lucifer who fell back and landed on his seat with me on top of him! So embarrassing!
"Gh!" Lucifer muttered as he caught me.
Lucifer had his arms around me while my hands rested on his chest. I slowly looked up and our eyes met. I think I am blushing even worse!
"Uhh... so... so... so sorry!" I said as I hastily got up and grabbed my phone from him. I don't even need to stop the music now. The music is over. I just pressed pause before the next song even starts.
Lucifer didn't say anything and he got up. I think even he is embarrassed. He can't even look at me. It seems only fair because I can't look at him either.
I shyly looked at him, but not at his face. That's when I noticed something odd.
"Uhh... was there something in your pocket? It is wet," I said.
Lucifer looked at his pocket. His eyebrows furrowed as he saw the wet area on his clothes. He reached into his pocket and pulled out a cracked, small vial.
"It must have broken when I..." I said, but I did not dare finish the sentence.
"I wonder how this got into my pocket..." Lucifer said as he tried to think more deeply.
"What do you mean?" I asked.
"I did not put anything inside my pocket. How did this get in here?" Lucifer asked.
"Maybe it is a gift that your brothers wanted to give you?" I guessed.
"If by the gift you mean a prank, then yes. Maybe," he said.
How rude. What if it really was a gift?
Lucifer suddenly held his hand on his forehead and started groaning.
"Woah! What's going on with you?" I asked, concerned.
"I feel dizzy... and my body is painful..." he said.
"Just stay on your seat then. I will go grab some water for you from the kitchen," I said and ran outside.
"GRRAAGGHHHH!" Lucifer screamed and I heard a loud thump on the floor.
I saw Lucifer's clothes on the floor. He must've fallen because of the pain! I dashed to where he is and looked at him. I couldn't see his face, but his clothes seem to be reaching the ground for some reason.
"Lucifer? A-Are you okay?" I asked.
No answer.
I pulled his clothes away with trembling hands and stood there at what I saw because of shock.
The door of the study burst open and Asmodeus, Mammon, and Leviathan came in.
"We heard your scream!" Asmo said.
"What happened?" Leviathan asked.
"You guys might want to take a look at this," I said as I looked down.
The three scrambled towards my place and stopped short at what they saw.
There, on the floor, is a demon with neat, black hair that is parted on the right side of his face, black eyes with an outwards red gradient, charming eyes. At first look, it looks like a normal human, but all of us knew that it is a demon. In fact, it is a demon that all of us very well knew.
The demon took a look at us, then we looked at each other, then back at the demon. We have a serious problem right in front of us.
"Lucifer..." Mammon said nervously,
"Is... he really is..." Asmodeus said just as nervous as Mammon is.
"A..." I said, finding words that are stuck in my throat.
"A BABY?!?!" All three of us shrieked.
The three of us looked at each other, then we looked at the baby, then at each other again.
"AAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH!!!!!!!!!!" Mammon, Asmodeus, and I screamed.
How could this happen?! How could Lucifer turn into a baby demon?! And worst of all... how are we ever going to turn him back?!
As we screamed because of too much shock, there it was... Baby Lucifer... on the floor... staring at us with a stern look on his face just like what he had when he was years older.
Now... how are we going to turn him back again?! And how could this happen?!
