Bright lights

Standing over me he looks angry. "Sorry Nathan"
"You're apologising for being hurt? Olivia who did this? What happened?"
"Cara, my sister she hit me with a hairdryer, I left then I got dizzy then I woke up here"
The Dr interrupts with s concerned looked. "Olivia when was the last time you ate?"
What a weird question but it's definitely got Mr Big Shots attention.
"Why doctor?"
"It's just a theory but with the dark circles under your eyes & lack of energy I would say your blood sugar levels are low and could've contributed to you fainting"
Dark circles great I'm laying here like Dobby the house elf! Could my life be any worse. Why does he have to look so mesmerising, my life officially sucks.
"Olivia last time you ate, when?"
Mr Big shots eyes were locked on mine.
" eh yesterday breakfast"
"WHAT THE FUCK" running his hand through his hair he looks beyond angry.  I want to disappear shit I've pissed him off big time. But why is he here?
"I'm sorry my sister came to stay, my mum was acting crazy and I had to work, I forgot"
The nice doctor takes my blood pressure and a nurse comes to take a blood sample. As if I haven't lost enough.
Soon I was standing in the fresh air with Nathan beside me.
"Thank you for staying with me, I'm sure you've work to get back too. "
"Yes but I'm taking you to breakfast and this time you try and pay, I'll spank you... Hard!"
"Huh" eyes wide I stare up to him. He looks serious no hint of a joke. He can't be serious. I'm a grown woman for god sakes.
"You heard Olivia, now get in the car"
He opens the door to the car and I slide over. My heads banging but I can feel the tablets start to work.
"Where are we going?
"Well since you have the day off we're going to Fitzgerald's, they do a great breakfast and won't accept your money princess"
Fitzgerald's the hotel omg it's beyond posh people. I couldn't even get a job cleaning there. A chef I knew worked there and it's full of rich and famous people, not plain janes with dark circles under her eyes and a bloodstained too.
Nathan sat typing on his phone. I watched how he sat so at ease with himself, assured. It was something I could never master. I've never been assured in my whole life.
Pulling into an underground car park, Nathan jumps out & holds out his hand to help me out. I take his hand & that electricity feeling shoots through my body. Why does it happen with a man I will never have.
