2 weeks has passed since Zico and Altia's gathering with the Fanxy Child crew, so today they decided to meet up again.
Fanxy Child Gathering
Almost everyone was there except for Zico, Altia, Lia and Dean.
Tonight, they are planning to make a BBQ and cook a few menus. Apart from that, the girls member, Hyejong and Taeyeon took part in preparing the food and while the boys are currently struggling setting up the BBQ things.
While all of them were busy cooking and preparing for the dinner, Dean arrived. So he straightly went to them. Crush who notice Dean's arriving spoke
"Uh... wasso?"
"Hmm..."
She went to Taeyeon who is currently busy doing her job and then he hugged her from the side. She didn't noticed about his boyfriend arriving but when she turned her gaze after being hug she spoke
"Uh? Oh... wasso?"
"Hmm.. I'm here." he replied and give his girlfriend a smile
Shortly after, Hyejong asked, "How's the show?"
"Pretty well."
And next, Dean starts helping them.
Now, time is showing at 7 pm and the BBQ session has started. At that time, only Zico and Altia were still not coming. They ask each other.
"Ya, when Zico wants to arrive? He comes right? Did he call anyone of you." Penomeco asked
So, Millic answered
"Molla. He didn't call me."
Everyone said Zico had no contact with them.
While they were eating, finally Zico arrived but they couldn't see Altia with him. Staytuned welcome him and said
"Oh, wasso? We thought you didn't join us."
Zico replied, "Ani, ani. Mianhae. I must come."
Shortly after, Zico sat in front of Staytuned and started eating. In the commotion, Hyejong asked Altia
"Zico-aa, Altia didn't come?"
Zico who was busy eating stopped when he being asked about Altia and then he answered
"Ne. She cannot join us. At first, she wanted to come but suddenly at 7 she got called from hospital for an emergency. So I'll drop her there before going here."
"Aaahh..." all of them shouted
Then Taeyoen made a reaction. She cutely said while looking at Dean who are sat next to her and at the same time hit his boyfriend shoulder
"Humph... I cannot see her."
Everyone looked at her. Then Crush spoke
"You can just go to her house if you want to see her."
Taeyeon looked at Dean and said, "Should we?"
He just looked at Taeyeon. He didn't give any response. So, she continued
"Then, I have to set 1 day off to meet her. But, her days-off might be different from me."
Zico spoke, "Ya, Taeyeon-aa, you can just call me if you want to meet her. So that she can find a day for you guys to meet."
"Really? Alright, then."
After a few hours, they are still in the gathering. Men are busy playing foot volleyball while women are just sitting around talking and preparing some night snacks. Then , after they finish preparing, it's only Hyejong who are still at the table.
Hyejong POV
While I was going through my phone, I saw a lot of incoming messages. So, I went through it one by one but then my eyes were focused on a message from my colleagues group chat. I become serious as I read the messages but then I stop scrolling as I didn't believe what I've read just now. The message stated,
"Night fellow friends, tonight we just lost our beautiful little girl, Joy."
I was shocked and then put my right hand to cover my mouth while the other hands were still holding my phone. But suddenly, I remember Altia. I whispered to myself, "Altia... no way.."
This is because I remember Zico said Altia could not attend the gathering because she received an emergency call from hospital so I thought this must be closely related to the news I received and I think Altia is the one who undergo an operation on Joy.
Personally, Altia didn't want to be the head of operation for Joy but she resisted. She only wants Altia. Apart from that, I become worried, "Oh no... she must be sad."
All staff and the hospital all are well aware of Altias relationship with Joy. They are like mother and daughter to them. Altia is Joy's favourite doctor. If anything goes wrong with her, Altia will be the first person to be looked for.
Soon after, I tried to call her but she didn't answer it. I tried a few times but still didn't respond. I said to myself, "please Altia, pick up your phone. Come on."
While I was looking at my phone, the men arrived. Peno noticed my sudden seriousness and worried expression. So, he sat next to me and asked me with low voice which only can be heard by both of us
"You okay? You look different? What's wrong? Is our baby okay?
We have a daughter who is 10 months old now. Today, we left Chaerin at Peno's parent's place.
I didn't reply, instead holding his hand. I know he noticed something is wrong with me but he didn't say it because he was afraid others would hear us.
During our conversation, I just kept quiet and reacted. As we were about to enter our own room, I tried to talk with Zico to tell him about this. I am sure Altia wouldn't tell Zico about this since Altia is a very secretive person. So, when I saw him, I immediately call him and said
"Zico-aa, I think you shoud going home."
Zico was confused by my sudden word, "Ne?"
I tried to explain, "Altia... ani... I mean... I think she needs you right now."
"Ne? What's wrong with her? He asked with his worried face
Then I continued speaking and explained to him everything that happened to Altia. Shortly after, he rushed to go home. But before he left, he able to order me
"Then can you tell others that I'm going back early."
"Yeah, yeah. I will. You don't have to think about that. Just go. Btw, careful."
Zico POV
After I heard Hyejong's explanation just now, I keep thinking about Altia. I tried to call Altia several times but she didn't answer. I'm speeding to my house and after 1 hours, I arrive. As soon as I entered the house, I saw no one in the living room. Then, I looked around the house and saw someone sitting near the kitchen. I saw she sat while both hands were covering her face. I felt sad watching her like that so I tried to get closer to her.
The closer I got to her, the more I could hear Altia's sobbing. My heart ached and I felt pain when I saw Altia crying like that. I rarely saw this. I know this must be hard for her. Apart from that, I start hugging her from her side. Her sobbing became louder as soon I did that and I let her cry for a while. When I was about to spoke, she opened her mouth first
"I killed her."
I immediately replied
"Shuuut... don't say that. I know you already give the best to save her. It's not your fault okay."
Altia continued sobbing
"Hey, hey... don't cry okay. I'm here."
After 20 minutes, finally she felt calmed and stopped crying. I let go of my hug. I sat in front of her and held her hands to make sure she was fine. She spacing out for while I kept myself quiet. I just looked at her.
After that, when she felt better, I asked her to clean herself. I stroke her hand gently and spoke
"Hey... why don't you clean up yourself and then take some rest. You must be tired."
She just nodded and got up. I follow her.
After a few minutes, I went to her room. I knock her door and said
"You want me to accompany you?"
She didn't reply, instead I came inside and sat beside her. We didn't do anything, just sat close to each other while my hand was holding her. Shortly after, I felt something on my shoulder. So, I turned my face to my side and saw Altia who fell asleep on my shoulder. I let her for a while and after that I brought her to his bed. I cover her with her blanket. I lay beside without any mats and blanket.
Before I slept, I looked into her face. Her tears were falling. Maybe she is still sad about what happened today. I wipe her tears softly so I don't wake her up. When I saw that, I whispered to myself, "Do you always like this? Sorry for letting you face this alone. I promise, I will protect you and make you happy."
Then, I slept.

Altia POV
On the next day, I woke up from my slept. As soon I opened my eyes, I saw Zico sleep next to me. I tried to remember what just happened last night. Before I tried to wake him up, I checked my phone. It's already 9 in the morning. So, I move Zico's hand slowly to make sure he is not surprised. Soon after, he opened his eyes. While my body is still in the position where I'm facing toward him, he spoke
"You wake up? How do you feel?"
I didn't answered his question instead I'm asked him
"Why do you sleep there? You might catch a cold."
Zico smiled and said, "Kwenchana."
"You didn't work today?" I asked
"What time is it? No... I have scheduled today."
"It's 9:10 am."
So, he stood up and said
"I have to go in another minute."
Zico went from my room and got ready for his work.
