Chapter 29 - I'm Tired
Zico POV
I'm sure this week I will spend my day at the studio more than at my house. Apart from that, before I went to my studio I called Altia to let her know
"Hello.."
"Hmm... what's the matter?"
"Ani... I just want to tell you that maybe I will not go home until this Thursday."
"Ah... chincha?"
"Ummm... I have to finish all these."
"Ummm..."
"You fine?"
"Hmmm... kwenchana."
I become silent, then, she spoke
"Just don't forget to eat, sleep and rest okay?"
"Okay, bye."

For the past 4 days, I haven't called Altia to say hello because I've been busy taking care of my work. Now, everything is under control and well prepared. At 7 pm sharp, I leave my studio and arrive at home at 7:25 pm. Altia is not home. She is still working.
When I arrived at home, I sat on the sofa for a while and not long after that I cleaned up myself. After that, I went back to the living room and watched some TV shows. At first, I wanted to wait for Altia but I didn't feel good. Plus I was really tired and finally I slept on the couch while the TV was still on.
Altia POV
When I'm home, it's already 11:30 pm. As soon as I entered the house, I heard a noise which came from the TV. I thought Zico was already asleep and forgot to turn off the TV.
So, I went to the living room to turn off the TV but I was shocked looking at Zico who slept on the sofa. I shaking his body softly and said
"Hey, why are you sleeping here? Go to your room."
He didn't say anything instead moaned in pain.
I saw he was frowning and his forehead was covered by sweat. Then I spoke worriedly
"Hey, what's wrong?"
He still didn't answer me. Apart from that, I put my palm on his forehead. It was hot. So, I quickly tried to get Zico and bring him to his room. This is my first time entering his room.
As soon as I lay him on the bed, I covered him with a blanket. I'm checking his body temperature once again and his pulse. I said to myself, "you are too busy for this 2 weeks straight so no wonder... I'm sad watching you like this."
While I about to looking for medicine, I heard Zico spoke with his weak voice and at the same time hold my hand
"Stay."
I'm facing towards him and answered softly
"I will. But I'm going to check some medicine first. This will not take longer, okay?"
After looking through the kitchen I grab the fever medication. Since he is too weak, he has to eat first before taking this medicine. Apart from that, I straightly cook some porridge for him and I leave it for a while.
I came back to Zico with some medicine and a wet towel in my hand. I put the towel on his forehead. I'm watching him lying weak and he falls asleep.
After that, I left him for a while to clean up and saw my porridge that I had left earlier. After few minutes, while I was about close to his room, I heard Zico calling my name
"Altia.... Altia...."
So, I rushed to him and then stroke his head. I asked
"Wae?? Wae?? Wae?? Where is hurt?"
He take a few second the answered my question
"Stay with me. I'm scared."
"Alright, alright. I'm here okay."
After calming him down, I sat on the floor while leaning my back on the closet beside Zico's bed. Soon after, I fall asleep too.
I don't know what time is not but I was awake when I felt someone touching my arm. It's Zico who is doing that. He spoke
"Hey, why are you sleeping there? Come, sleep right next to me."
I turned my head towards him. Before I answer his question, I'm checking my phone first to make sure what time it is. I saw it's already dawn.
"Ani, kwenchana ya Zico-aa. I'm fine here."
Soon, I stood up and heated the porridge I cooked last night. But then, Zico asked
"Where are you going?"
"I'm going out for a while. Later I'll come back here okay."
He didn't reply.
When I was done, I came back and went to Zico. I touched his forehead and it was still hot but started to recede. I left the room again to prepare his food and 10 minutes after that I came with a bowl of porridge and glass of warm water. I move his body softly and said
"Hey, let's eat first."
He didn't say anything instead I'm helping him to change his position.
I put a smaller table on top of him and then put the tray that I've brought just now. He looked at the food in front of him and then turned his head towards me. I know he don't have appetite to eat it so I spoke
"Eat a little bit okay. If you don't, how are you going to get the medicine?"
He just does what I am saying and starts eating. While I was looking at him, suddenly my phone rang. I grabbed my phone and went out of Zico's room to pick up that called. But before I left, I said
"Eat. I'll answer this first."
I start talking with the person on my phone
"Hello."
I become quite because the person is talking but shortly after I continued
"Hmm... I'm sorry I cannot attend work today cause I've an emergency. Can you replace me?"
I waited for that person to answer me.
"Alright. Thank you babe."
After the phone call ended now it's my turn to call someone.
"Hello."
"Hello.." that person replied
"Hmm.. yeah... sorry for calling you so early in the morning."
"Hmm... thank you for that. What's the matter?"
"Hmm.. ani. Can you replace me for the meeting today?"
"Wae? Kamchagi.."
"Well, I have an emergency so yeah..."
"Okay. Then, what should I do?"
"Hmm... later I will email all things that I've prepared. You just have to read and understand all that. Make sure to explain well to the client."
"Okay.. no problem."
"Alright thank you. Thank you so much."
That person is my cousin. His name is Juman. He is my partner handling the cafe and one of the important people at the cafe plus he knows more about the cafe's progress than me. Since I can't give my 100% commitment to the cafe, I'm lucky to have him here in Korea.
After that, I come back to Zico.
"You done? Okay, lets eat some medicine."
When I'm about to left the room after cleaning up his food, I stopped when I heard Zico spoke
"I'm sorry. Other staff must be looking for you."
"Gwenchana. Cha... take a rest."
Days have passed with Zico just lying on the bed while I am busy going through my documents plus I received non stop calls from my staff and others. I worked at Zico's room because he didn't want me to leave him.
Soon after, I was called by my father. My father is a very cool and relaxed person in my family but when it comes to work, he becomes the most strict and professional person that you will meet.
My father called me to ask about some projects that he currently undergoes. He asked for my help since I'm in Korea now. So, we spent almost 10 minutes talking on the phone about that project. But before we ended our phone call, he asked about me and Zico
"Okay. Where are you? Work?"
"No, dad. Zico is not well so I'm just being at home."
"Really? Is that too bad?"
"His recovery and getting better from last night. I'm worried."
"Tell him to get rest okay, honey. You too. Don't work too much."
"Okay, dad. I love you."
"Love you too sweetheart."
After we ended our phone call, I was spacing out for a while and covered my face with my hands. It's because I'm too tired to think about my never ending work.
Soon, I checked Zico. I stroke his hair softly and I spoke with my low toned
"Get well soon okay."
He was aware of my actions, took my hand and held it. He asked worriedly
"Gwenchana?"
"Uhm?? Buga?"
"You seem to have lots of work? Gwenchana?"
"Uhmm... yeah. Gwenchana. You don't need to worry."
"If you are tired, just take a rest. I don't want you to be sick like me. It's killing."
"Arasseo, arasseo."
