Wanting
I was enveloped by this familiar scent,
Inciting unwanted tears to my eyes.
Now, I have fallen down the chasm twice,
And fear was still the cause of my descent.
Indistinguishable sounds from below,
Cacophonic calls and songs of sadness,
Stirring my slumbering soul to madness.
When did I remember you say hello?
That distant past was long gone or dying.
A cruel delusion that torments me,
Shackles me, depriving me to be free.
Drenching in these memories is tiring.
A never ending taste of agony,
A wishful heart that longs in mystery.
