Sophia Blossom
"Come on Sophia, hurry up. We don't wanna be late." I heard a very excited Jennifer from the living room.
"What are you talking about? We still have 45 minutes till we have to reach the airport." I said as I continued packing my suitcase.
We are flying to Paris today. Yes, I did sign the contract with Stella's a week ago and currently we're all preparing to board our flight to Paris. Mrs. Stone was nothing what the magazines write about her. She's so talented, cheerful and grounded. I got to meet her and Marco Louis, her head photographer. She even bought her daughter, Estelle, who she lovingly calls 'stella' and has named the company after. Even though Estelle works with her father at his company, she's very involved in her mother's brand too, which is very nice.
I zipped my suitcase and descended down the stairs.
Jennifer saw me and stood up from the couch. She is so damn excited. More excited than me, perhaps. She already has so many plans of shopping, touring and enjoying Paris. I chuckled at her behaviour.
"Hurry up, girl." She called out and I rolled my eyes at her. She came towards me, and took my suitcase from my hand and walked out of the house to load it in the car.
Violet came towards me and engulfed me in a sisterly hug. I gladly hugged her back.
"I'm gonna miss you." I said pulling away.
"I won't, Soph. I'm gonna call some hot dudes over and have the time of my life with them. I'm having the whole house to myself and it's gonna be a wild week." Violet said with a kinky smile.
"God Forbid, Sophia will actually kill you, if you pull a stunt like that." Jen said standing near the doorframe and giggled a little.
"That, I will." I said a little sternly and we all ended up laughing.
"You guys just have, what, 35 minutes left until you have to reach the airport. Move those sexy asses of yours, ladies." Violet said checking the clock.
"Right, come on." Jennifer said and dragged me towards the car. I yelled a 'bye' to Violet and she did the same.
We sat in the car quickly and Sam drove us to the airport.
When we reached the airport, Alex and Kevin were already waiting for us. Two flight attendants came and took our bags. As we followed Alex and Kevin, they led us to a scheduled place, which was away from all the other runways.
We stopped before a private jet with the words 'Grey' carved on it. Of course he owns a private jet. What else would you expect from a Billionaire?
The flight attendants loaded our bags as we all walked inside the jet. Let me tell you, everything Alex owns is luxurious and this jet did does not disappoint.
It actually had two floors. The theme was créme with black and it was so homely. Kevin gave us a little tour of the plane while Alex went to have a word with the pilot.
There were 2 bedrooms and attached bathrooms on both the floor. The plane had a small kitchen, a small room filled with some books and a big cozy lounge. It was so so beautiful.
After the tour was over, Kevin and Jennifer stayed on the upper floor where they'll be resting so I walked down to find Alex.
I was lost in my thoughts staring out of the window at particularly nothing, because Alex was no where to be found and we still had some time before we took off. I felt a hand on my shoulder. I turned to find Alex smiling down at me.
"Did you like the jet?" He asked as he took my hand in his and started walking us towards the lounge. We had a seat and someone bought us two cups of steaming coffee.
"It's beautiful." I replied shortly and sipped the coffee. It's a Latte with coconut milk. Alex knows how crazy I'm for Lattes especially when they're made with some non-dairy milk.
"You wanna meet the pilot?" Alex asked after sometime.
"Yeah, Sure." I replied shortly and he guided me to the cockpit, where I met the pilots who were flying us, Dylan and Matthew.
After we had a talk with them, I climbed the stairs to check on Jennifer and guess what I saw.
Kevin had her on his lap and they were having a full on make out session. My eyes widened seeing them and I quickly made my way downstairs.
Alex saw me and joked saying, "You look like you've seen a ghost. What happened?" He asked making me sit on the couch.
"Get ready to be an Uncle." I joked and his eyes widened.
"What are you talking about? Be clear." He asked after taking a long breath.
"I just saw Kevin and Jennifer making out." As soon as I said that, Alex stood up from the couch yelling a 'What?'.
"I hope, no, I pray he knows Jennifer isn't some random girl he can mess around with." Alex said shaking his head.
"Have you ever seen the way Kevin looks at her? Like his whole life revolves around Jennifer. He knows better than to hurt her." I assured Alex.
"Do they even like each other?" Alex asked as he once again sat on the couch beside me.
"I know Jennifer does. They might not admit it, but they are very involved with each other." I explained keeping a hand on his shoulder.
"And what am I suppose to do?" Alex questioned.
"What are you supposed to do. They like each other and it's the truth. Why do you need to do anything?" I counter questioned him.
"It's just that, since our parents died, I've made it my responsibility to look after Kevin. Even when he thinks he can do things on his own, he needs me and I know that. I just love him dearly, and want the best for him. I sincerely hope he finds someone who will make him truly happy and indirectly give me some relief too. Even Kevin himself is unknowingly in the quest of someone to show him what real love is but until, he finds that someone, I do not him to hurt girls like Jennifer in the process. Jennifer deserves a good man in her life as much as Kevin does a true someone."
"Who knows, maybe Jennifer is that someone." I said, after a silence of about a minute, as I lifted my gaze to meet his beautiful brown eyes.
"Maybe." He said with a small smile.
This chapter wasn't suppose to be published today, but it's my birthday so......
