Chapter 13 (Pool party)
Again I slept in this morning. I woke up with a little headache. I guess I was still a little shock over the horror movie. I kind of remembered someone hug me. I think it is my imagination. Then, I saw beside my bed it is empty. I began to sigh because I have never sleep with anyone other than my family members or with my buddies when were young and went for camping.
However, to my dismay, the bed seems to have a dent, does that mean that someone has slept here, Wait, let me think, Xiao Zan brought me in, did he sleeps here.
Gosh!!!, the more I think the more headache I have. I decide to put these thought aside or I won't be able to enjoy my days, I tries to get out but then I can still smell his scent on my bed which is also sending me some sensation. This has driven me further into a state of infuriation.
I went for a long shower and had make some decisions to master my days.
First, I have to pretend that sleeping with him does not matter to me. DOES IT!. I am also confuse because we are after all both men and have no romantic link. Although, this is not the ethos that I have been brought up.
Secondly, I need to be STRONG and ask him permission to organize the pool party which some of the staff has been hinting to me.
Thirdly, I need to survive until my birthday comes to avoid been married to a man who has a girlfriend. This is because, in my simple mind, I think my parents will dropped the arrangement when I am passed twenty. My heart aches when I think of this matter. Xiao Zan looks so caring to me but does he even wants to marry a man, oh no, a boy as I am not twenty one yet. He has a girlfriend that means he is straight. As for myself, I have not fallen in love yet but I usually finds girls disgusting because of the way they did their ugly pout with their heavy make-up.
After some thoughts, I got into my clothes and as usual hop and jog my way down the curvy steps.
I saw Xiao Zan sitting on the table reading some documents, today is Sunday. I wonder if this man ever rest. He saw me and immediately raise his head.
"Hi, Bodie, how are you feeling" Xiao Zan smile with his bunny teeth.
It is really attractive I can tell you but my firm mind have some afirmative tasks in it.
"I am very good, thank you sir" I begin to do a bow which I don't usually do. I actually don't know why I did that, maybe because I am scare as we share a bed. OH, NOT IN THAT SENSE, but STILL.
I could see a frown on his face and he seems to find it irritating that I am so formal.
"Sir, can I ask you something?" I walk towards him and asks
"Yes, Swe.., Ahemm....Bodie" Xiao Zan raise his eyebrows and looks at me.
"Can we have a pool party, since today is Sunday" I asks bravely
"YES!!!! Sure, anything for your Bodie" I frown at his reply. What do you mean anything for me and I have a deep thought but I decide to dismiss it. I think businessman can be a sweet talker. I am studying finance and I think my lecturer told us that we also need to be a good speaker in order to get our ideas across.
I just did my teenager thingy and jump up and 'YAY!!!", I ran to Mrs Lam and told her the news.
I told them to be in the pool by 1 am.
I ran into my room and starts to rampage through my clothes for a swimming togs. I found and I starts to change into.
Today is hot, I came down with my bare body but I am still a little shy so I put a towel over my body and walk towards the pool area.
Everyone is already there. Xiao Zan came down with his aviator and togs, and worst, bare body. He had a tog on but that body is too smoking hot I would say. Although he does not have six packs like me but he had a very broad shoulder with defined muscles, also he has a thin waist which is every man's envy. Of course, he walks like a celebrity and he is indeed one.
He stops when he saw me. He glaze looks intensely at me and I feel kind of shy. However, I put on my bravest look.
"Hi" I say to him. He looks kind of funny because his mouth is agape. I began to wonder why.
Then it came upon me, that I quickly use the towel to cover more of my body. My mother has always praise me because of the growling and translucent skin I have. I have apply sun block lotion and it makes my skin kind of shining when the sun hit on it. I might look like a growling "LAN WANGJI" in the movie "Untamed" when he is playing the guqin in the Shen Wu cave. This is the reason that I never swim in public pools. Even when I am in sports team I wear a top but today is really hot.
I could hear all the "Wow, woo, and ah" as I past by them. This has deepen the pink on my face.
Just then, a heard a "thug, thug, thug", oh my gosh, the spoiler is here again. Ms Ziyi just walk in.
"Zan, why is there a pool party and I am not invited" she asks Xiao Zan.
"I am not the organizer, Bodie is" Xiao Zan did not even turn his face to her but still his eyes trailing me.
"But you are the house master, ma"
She really emphasizes master so as to belittle me. I just ignore here and continue my fun. I group the staff in their respectful age again. For me, nothing beats have fun with competition.
I watch them slide, jump, dump or climb into the pool was already an enjoyment. Some of them couldn't swim, so they begin walking into the pool to reach the other end. But. All I could see were faces of people having joys and fun. Sometimes, I also forgot myself as I clap and laughs with my jaws extended showing my perfect teeth. I would also jumps high when they reach the end of the pool with their durable efforts that is praise worthy.
The last group were people of fifty and above. Again, my compassion goes to Mrs Lam. She seems terrify by the water but bravely get in as she looks into my eyes. I dump my towel and join her in the pool. I swim like a fish towards her.
"Hold my hands, I guard you" I told Mrs Lam
"Anything for Bodie" She laughs and hold my hand. I turned to face her while holding her with my both hands and I walk backwards as she proceed forward. Finally, we reached the end, although she came last but everyone cheers for her.
"Bodie, why is your skin make you like an angel descend from heaven, so growling and beautiful" She told me as she admire my skin like a mother.
I helped her out of the pool. Then, I pulled myself up, Instantly, I felt someone put a towel onto me.
"You are too exposed" Xiao Zan told me.
"Rubbish" I looked at him with infuriated eyes, he is making of my fair skin AGAIN, in front of his girlfriend.
Of course, Ziyi never lets me off. She came toward me with her overly exposed two piece suit. I wonder why Xiao Zan never complaints that his girlfriend is overly expose but comes and bother me. I think this is what it means that you always side your girlfriend at all cost.
"Bodie, how about a swimming challenge, I can't believe that you will be good in all things" I ignore her and walk away.
This persistent bitch never gives up. She came to me again.
"Don't tell me you are a bad swimmer". I stand up from my seat and throw my towel down. I am a teenager and I have a competitive spirit.
"Let's go" I told her. I think my face is already angry and turning pink.
I saw Xiao Zan came running toward me or her, I don't know.
"I will join you" He said the "you" facing me but I think he meant his girlfriend, so I didn't answer him.
I walked and stood on one edge of the pool as there were eight lanes in the pool. Ziyi choose to stand at the other extreme end. Guess what!!!, Xiao Zan choose to stand next to me. WHAT!!!!, he must think I will harm his girlfriend or what. So silly!!!!!!
The whistle begin. I just spring into the pool with a long strike. I already knew I am ahead when I plunge in because there is no one ahead of me. I began to swim with every precise stoke as I was trained.
When I reach the end. Xiao Zan is closely behind me. Oh so, he is quite a good swimmer. Of course, Ziyi is slightly behind Xiao Zan meaning she also can swim but not as good as me. The two has already got out of the pool as I decide to stand up after they move.
As soon as I come out of the pool. I was down the pool again. Someone pushed me into the pool. I was totally shock and so I kind of lost my balance and the splashing water hit my arm. It is nothing but because I am fair, I know my arms will be pinkish red.
I saw an extended hand from Xiao Zan but because I am so angry. I slap it away. I pushed myself up.
"You can't even loose fairly" I yell at Ziyi and walk away.
I heard Xiao Zan shouting at her
"Ziyi, I have enough of you, I cancel our contract and you are prohibit to enter into the Xiao mansion".
I don't even know what kind of contract they are talking about but enough is enough. I walk towards the mansion.
Then my phone rings. The caller ID is Seongyoun. At least my buddie calls me
"Hello"
"Yibo, tonight Wen Han's birthday, we want to hang out, can you come"
"Of course, can you please bring my BABY along, I haven't touch him for a long time"
"Sure, meet at the gate" Seongyoun asks
"Yes"
Then, I felt someone just behind me, I turn around and saw Xiao Zan, his hand is extended but retract again. I glared at him with anger because again, he allows his girlfriend to bully others like me.
