Arizona: "Oh, look."

Mark: "Aww."

Lucy: "Nice size, good-looking placenta."

Callie: "Is that an arm?"

Lucy: "Yep."

Arizona and Mark: "Aww."

Lucy: "All good. Did you schedule an amnio yet?"

Callie: "Um..."

Mark: "We don't need an amnio."

Callie: "Um...we don't?"

Arizona: "Of course we do. We'll set it up."

Mark: "Why do we need an amnio?"

Arizona: "I can think of a hundred reasons why."

Mark: ""You want me to take 'em down one by one or all together?

Callie: "Hey, hey, hey."

Lucy: "It's so nice that there are three of you."

Mark: "I gotta go. Don't let her shove a giant needle in your belly before we discuss this."

Lucy: "It's not giant. 9 inches." she holds her fingers up and Callie looks at them before making them wider  to demonstrate the actual size of the needle

Richard: "When was the last time you put in an application to the FDA?"

Sky: "It's been a while, sir."

Richard: "Well, it would have to be, because if you had any recollection of what's involved, then you wouldn't interrupt me in the middle of compiling 357 pages of an application. Do you know how easy it is to lose one page out of 357?"

Sky: "It's gotta be quite easy."

Richard: "They look for reasons to kill a study. Do you know what they consider a good reason?"

Sky: "A missing-"

Richard: "One missing page. Now you're a smart woman, Rivers. You have leadership potential, management potential. I mean, I think you shy away from that."

Sky: "That may well be, sir."

Richard: "I mean, you can handle a V. I. P. patient. I mean, if you don't mention the chief of surgery, they won't ask for the chief of surgery. Did you mention me?" he whispers when they stand in front of a curtain

Sky: "I think I did, sir."

Richard: "Now why would you do that? Did you not know about my application?"

Sky: "I think I knew, sir."

Richard: "Then what on earth were you thinking?" she pulls back the curtain to show Adele laying on a bed with a bandage over her head as she bleed a little

Sky: "Your wife, sir. That's what I was thinking."

Adele: "I was in the cereal aisle, and I tripped on one of those big display...fruit spreads or...or some nonsense and the whole thing came down."

Mark: "Lido and an epi, please. 5-0 prolene."

Nurse: "Okay. Excuse me."

Adele: "Oh, it's a cut, Mark. You don't have to show off. You can give me a couple of band-aids and be on your way."

Mark: "Yeah, that's not how this is gonna go."

Richard: "You...you tripped on the display or you tripped over your feet and fell into the thing or-"

Adele: "The chronology escapes me, Richard. I was more focused on the fact that there was jam and...and shard glass all over my coat and my pants and the pants of the store manager, who would not leave me alone until he packed me away into an ambulance. Oh!" she groans when Sky examines her arm "You know, this whole thing is just ridiculous!"

Richard: "This is twice, honey. I mean, your wrist-"

Adele: "It's those shoes. Now they are supposed to tone your derriere, but I cannot feel the ground when I walk on them. I am going to throw them away. If somebody would just give me a couple of band-aids, I can be on my way."

Richard: "You're not going anywhere."

Adele: "No, if you make a big fuss about this-"

Mark: "Mrs. Webber. Hmm? I'm about to put a needle in your face. I'd be extremely grateful if you'd stop moving."

Adele: "Mm." she wines before laying back down on the bed

Mark: "I've lost too many babies in my time...Sky's had miscarriages, Addison terminated, Sloan disappeared. I'm not letting it happen again. I don't care what kind of baby it is." Sky hears as she looks into the room where the three are arguing before they walk out over to the desk where she's at

Arizona: "Okay, you know what? You can't be glib about this. A special needs baby can be a very sick baby. We could be talking about a lifetime of surgeries and hospital stays and pain. It's not all hugging and the Special Olympics."

Mark: "Amnios come with risks, too. One in some not-insignificant number result in miscarriage."

Sky: "1 in 300." she says as they look at her and she shrugs her shoulders before looking back at the work in front of her

Mark: "She's not 45. The Down's rate isn't all that high in women her age."

Arizona: "Can...can we have...can have a minute? Can I just...just...I-"

Mark: "There's no pulling anybody aside."

Arizona: "We have a relationship, Mark. Part of that doesn't include you."

Mark: "She's carrying my kid. All right, if she gets a minute, then I get a minute, too."

Callie: "Ok, you know what? No one gets a minute. I have a patient. The patient gets a minute."

Arizona: "Oh." she groans as she walks away

Sky: "Everything okay?" she asks seeing the look on Mark's face

Mark: "She wants Callie to get an amnio." he sighs and comes to sit next to her

Sky: "You're not a fan of it."

Mark: "Not really no" he sighs before scooting closer to her "Wanna go to an oncall room?"

Sky: "Seriously?"

Mark: "I need something to calm me down."

Sky: "Sure." she shrugs her shoulders and they get up

Arizona: "The miscarriage rate is lower. It's even lower with wildly talented OBs, and we have wildly talented OBs."

Mark: "It's a risk no matter who does it."

Sky: "Should I leave you guys alone?"

Callie: "No. You stay right here" she stops her from leaving "And, you know what? I'm trying to eat, which is more important than it's ever been now, because I'm an incubator. Okay, I know what each of you thinks, I'm weigthing the options, I will decide."

Mark: "You'll decide?"

Callie: "Yes, I'm the tiebreaker. And anyhow, I have the bigger vote, because as we've discussed, I vote on behalf of the baby and on behalf of the-"

Mark: "Vagina."

Callie: "Yeah."

Sky: "What?" she mutters to Arizona who waves her off

Mark: "Right. That's not gonna cut it, okay? We're co-parenting, all of us. This isn't a joke. It's not some cute arrangement where you humor me and use me for babysitting when you want to see a movie. This is my child. We're doing this together. You don't get a bigger vote. I'm a parent!" he snaps before storming away and they watch him leave

Sky: "Ooh. Daddy's mad."

Callie: "Well...I want the amnio. I just...I want to have the information, whatever it is. That doesn't mean I'm gonna act on it. It just...I...whatever the situation is, I want to know about it."

Mark: "Okay. Thank you."

Arizona: "That's it?"

Mark: "Well, I just wanted her to think about it. I wanted all of us to really think about it. And you did. There's three of us. I got out voted. As long as my 33% is considered and nobody's body parts get more votes than I do, that's all I can ask for."

Mark: "If we had a kid would you want an amnio?" he comes over to where Sky is standing near an OR board

Sky: "What?" she takes the pen out her mouth

Mark: "If we had a kid...would you want an amnio?"

Sky: "Yeah. I think I would. Would you?"

Mark: "I don't think it would matter. I'm gonna love a child of mine either way."

Sky: "That's sweet. So is Callie gonna get one?" she goes back to writing on the board

Mark: "Yeah."

Sky: "Are you okay with that?"

Mark: "Yeah. I just wanted my opinion to be respescted. I mean I'm the dad you know."

Sky: "Oh everybody knows. You yelled it out to the entire cafeteria." she chuckles

Mark: "Yeah, wasn't one of my finer moments."

Sky: "It just shows how committed you are. Nothing wrong with that." she shrugs

Callie: "I gotta tell you, I was impressed with Mark today. He...he is really being an adult about all this. I think that he's gonna be a great dad."

Arizona: "Yeah."

Callie: "Right?"

Arizona: "It'll work."

Callie: "You didn't think it was...that impressive."

Arizona: "Sure. He handled it, and not like a 4 year old. Is that supposed to make me excited?"

Callie: "I thought I was supposed to be the cranky, hormonal one."

Arizona: "I'm not cranky. I don't get excited about Mark. I'm not delighted by Mark. I love you. And I can honestly say that I'm gonna love this baby. But Mark? I somehow ended up agreeing to a lifetime with...Mark...a lifetime of decisions...bottle or sippy cup, basketball or tap, Dartmouth or Berkeley. Christmas morning with...Mark."

Callie: "Okay."

Arizona: "I never picked him. And I don't hate him, but...I don't want a life with him. And yet, somehow that's...what I got."

Callie: "What am I supposed to do, kick him out? I mean, it's his kid."

Arizona: "Yeah, you don't need to remind me of that. I never, ever forget that."

Callie: "Wow. Okay, we're gonna go down that road again."

Arizona: "Okay, can we just be honest about the fact that this is some kind of bi dream come true? I mean, you get the woman that you love and...and the guy best friend who's also a great lay, and then you get a baby. I mean, you get it all. And me? This is not my dream. My dream doesn't look like this."

Derek: "Yeah, she didn't think she needed to tell me she couldn't see. She figured it was, you know, not relevant. I don't know if I'm more mad at her as her husband or as her attending."

Owen: "You were extraneous to the process. Kinda like Cristina. She doesn't need to talk to me about whether we're gonna have kids."

Mark: "That's nice."

Owen: "Yeah. Not only do I not have a say, she doesn't even want to discuss it."

Derek: "They want to hold all the cards."

Mark: "I want you to imagine for a minute what it's like trying to negotiate with two women. Two."

Owen: "That's a nightmare."

Mark: "At least you guys get 50% of the vote. I get a measly 33%."

Owen: "I get 50%? With Cristina, I get maybe 10%."

Derek: "Meredith won't even put anything down on the table. She doesn't want me to vote, she simply omits the information...leaving me with zero."

Sky: "Here you go. Don't worry I'm not staying. I'm too tired anyways." she comes over to the three and hands Derek a case of beer

Derek: "Thank you."

Mark: "I'll see you at home." he kisses her as she waves goodbye before going over to the elevator and waits for Richard to get back on

Richard: "Gentlemen."

Mark: "Chief. Want to join us?"

Owen: "Can I, uh, offer you a 9-iron?"

Richard: "Yeah, I...I can't stay. I just need to borrow Shepherd for a minute."

Derek: "Yeah, sure. What's up, chief?"

Richard: "Adele was in the ER today."

Derek: "Is she all right?"

Richard: "Yeah. She just, uh, she took a spill. Nothing serious."

Derek: "Mm-Hmm."

Richard: "But it's the second time recently. So I had Bailey work her up. Nothing comes up. C.T. , everything's clean. But she's...foggy. I need you to take a look."

Derek: "Of course." he pats him on the shoulder before going back over to the guys

Authors note: I don't know if it's because I'm older and rewatching these episodes but characters that I thought I liked just seem to irritate me more now. I'm talking about Arizona in this case.
