We were currently out at O'Charleys on a Monday night bc we didn't have nothing else to do. So why not eat
"I really don't know yet" i said unbothered
"Ian never met someone that was so last minute until now...bruh it's your birthday"he said all extra like.
"Exactly MY birthday not yours"i spat
"You know what?"he said mugging me
"What boy" i said annoyed cus i already knew it was gone be sum stupid.
"You been acting real rude lately what's going on"he said concerned.
"Nothing"i said taking a sip of my drink
"It's sum wrong"he said snatching my drink.
"Brandon let it go damn" i said
"No cause i'm the one that gotta deal with that shit. I took yo ass to the park you was complaining about the ducks, i take you to get some food and you picking over it. Loose the fucking attitude lay before i do it for you."he said rubbing his hands across his face
We've known each other for a good two weeks and now that the project is over we hang out more. I've never seen him get mad at me and this was the first time he ever been this serious with me and it scared me but it 🙈 ......well let's just say she was leaking. PERIODTTTT
I slid out of my side of the booth and sat right next to him.
"I'm sorryyyyy" i said laying my head on him. "Im on my "thing" this week so i been a lil moody today. But i'm not gone do that again"i said looking up at him.
"Your breath hot, back up" he said shooing me away.
I kissed his cheek and went back to my side. Ever since the kiss we haven't told anyone about it but we're just friends and he been trying to get with this girl so i'm happy for him.
"I'm thinking about just chilling for my birthday ion really feel like going out so i might just do sum wit my friends..I don't know yet"i said shrugging my shoulders and eating my mac and cheese.
"Ok what you doing friday?"
"Like Friday night?"
"No not friday night but friday night" he said sarcastically.
"i'm not doing anything" i laughed
"Ight i'ma take you out" he said.
"Like a date?" i asked curiously
"Take it how you want" he said messing with his airpod case.
"So do i dress up?"
"You finna make me take what i said back don't overthink it just do what you want" He said rolling his eyes
"Ok damn i'm just playing" i said nervously laughing.
"You ready for your away game?"i asked
"Yea we gone kick they ass"
I nodded my head
"That's why i asked so we could hang out before the game bc yo birthday the same day"he said
"I understand ,you just wanna be next to me. It's ok"i said cockyly (thats not a word but it is today)

This girl walks up to our table. I'm guessing she knows Brandon.
"Heyyy brandon"
"Wassup Leila"he said hugging her.
"Hey girl"she said
"Hi" i said continuing to eat my food
They chatted for a bit and she left.
"Heyyyy Brandon" "Wassup" i said mocking them both.
"Wowwww you jealous"he said smirking.
"No Im just messing but speaking of girls.Is it her that you like?"I said raising my eyebrows.
"You so nosy I promise"
"It is her"i said shockingly

"Bc she ain't got nothing on the girl i like"he blurted

"You guys need anything else"The waiter said
"Um yeah can she get a to go plate and we need the bill"
"You guys are such a cute couple!!Alright i'll be back with the bill" she said taking the empty plates.
We just looked at each other weird and laughed it off. Cus ewwww
"Now who said i wanted a to go plate"i said folding my arms.
"I did"he demanded licking his lips.
"Ok"i said lowly
He laughed at me and the waiter came back with the bill. After a few minutes of arguing trying to give our cards to the waiter. We finally came to the conclusion that he would pay and i would tip.
We got in the car and he dropped me off at Justice house.
"Thanks for the food boo" i said pinching his cheek trying to be annoying.
"Get out" he said unlocking my door

I slammed the door on accident and yelled sorry. I headed inside and greeted her mom.
"Hey Mrs.Tasha"
"Hey baby you hungry?"she said walking around the island in the kitchen.
"No i already ate" i said holding up the to-go box.
"Ok Justice and Ken is upstairs."
"Alright thank you"i said headed up the stairs
I knocked on the room door.
"Who is it"

"Who is me nigga?"Ken said turning the door knob
"I should've busted in here like i was the feds." i replied pushing my way through.
"Well come on in"Justice said closing the door
"What y'all doing" I asked slipping inside the covers of the bed.
"Nothing really just talking about random stuff. Snoh said she couldn't make it cus her parents found out about David "Ken said

"Anyways"Ken rolled his eyes flipping through netflix on the tv
"So how did they find out"i asked
"I guess her phone was in the kitchen and he was calling her and you know how the contact picture show up"
"Awww danggg"i said
"Yep and you know her parents want her dating a black guy"justice replied
"Yea so true, i feel bad for her cus they dated for like five months"

"So we hanging out all weekend for your birthday right?" ken asked
"Well not friday night"i said scrolling through twitter
They both looked at me crazy.
"Why not friday...."Justice asked
"Because brandon asked to take me out since he was gone be gone during my birthday"i said messing with my fingers.
"OOOOUUUU BITCHHH" ken semi-yelled jumping on me.
"Ok girl that sound like a date to me, i'm a proud mama" justice said sitting on the bed.
"I mean not technically"
"Well your gonna get cute for this birthday and date. I'ma do yo hair"
"Ken you already know i don't like to get dressed up.
"Ion care your doing it mamas"
I rolled my eyes.
"Ken play the movie already" justice said mugging him.
"Damn can't have a convo round here at all"he said playing the movie.
I just smiled and laughed at their arguing. I soon dozed off to sleep. I'll just explain to my aunt later.
