"Calm down Y/N, I'll be okay!" Nat tries to reassure the frantic Y/N, whose looking anywhere for medical supplies to help with her bleeding shoulder.
"How am I suppose to calm down...." he starts off as he finally gets a cotton ball, alcohol, and a bandage,
"When you are bleeding gallons of blood-" Exaggeration
"- which can lead to blood loss, which can lead to death!"
He sits her down and carefully goes to work, not noticing Romanoff looking at the teen's concentrated face.
"Ok....allll done!" He cries out minutes later as he examines his work,
"Not bad if I do say so myself.....and I do say so myself."
He surprises Nat when he grabs her in for a big hug, she widens her eyes for a second before embracing him back
"Don't do that to me again, you hear?" He whispers as he continues to hug her,
"I hear...." She smiles, finding it touching that Y/N wants no harm to befall her
"Agent Coulson is down." Fury announces to everyone through their earpieces
"A medical team is on their way to your location." A agent tells Fury
"They're here.....they called it."
After Y/N leaves Nat to freshen up a bit, he walks through the very quiet corridor and walks in onto Tony and Steve sitting quietly, with Fury looking at the two briefly while standing.
Y/N for once, has no words as he walks around Steve, who nods to Y/N in greeting and Tony puts a hand on Y/N shoulder with a small smile,
"Glad you're safe kid."
Y/N sits on the right side of the table and also joins in on the silent conversation, waiting on what is the next move.
"These were in Phil Coulson's jacket." Fury starts off as he holds up a pair of cards, splotched with blood.
"Guess he never did get you to sign them." Fury throws the cards across the table and land in front of Steve.
"We're dead in the air up here. Our communications, the location of the cube, Banner, Thor... I got nothing for you. I lost my one good eye...."
"You still have one left." Y/N states as he looks up from his lap, causing Nick to finally look at the Agent.
"Yeah...." Y/N starts off as he shakes his head slightly,
"Everything right now looks pretty shitty.... We lost the battle. And it was a heavy one. But we can't be down for long. We can't let that horn-wearing egoistical skinny bastard think he's won. He doesn't deserve that, and we shouldn't accept it with our heads down."
This causes Tony and Steve to also look up at Y/N, is this the same kid that they met a few hours ago?
"What we can and should do now....is regroup, try and find anything we can to locate Loki, and take back what isn't his. Isn't it our job to do what we signed up for? Shouldn't we live up to the name we were asked to bear? We're The Avengers, lets start acting like it." He ends with a crooked smile,
"Just something to think about."
He gets up, pats Tony and Steve on the shoulder, nods to Fury, and walks out.
As he walks away, he squeals slightly to himself
"Man.....that felt so GOOD! I totally gotta give out more speeches in the future!"
Nat and Clint are currently in a room, with a Barton strapped to a chair and straining mightily to get the remaining energy out of his head.
"Clint....you're going to be alright."
"You know that?" Clint asks with a small chuckle,
"Is that what you know? I...Ive got no window. I got to flush him out."
"You got to level out. It's gonna take time." Nat assures the struggles agent while pouring hot water into a cup to give him.
"You don't understand.... have you ever had someone take your brain and play? Pull you out and stuff something else in? Do you know what it's like to be unmade?"
This causes Nat to turn and look at him with a neutral look,
"You know that I do."
Clint takes slow deep breaths as he looks around the room their in,
"Where's the kid....still in school?" He wonders as he shakes in head in pain, doesn't he remember fighting Y/N earlier?
A knock is heard in front of them, causing the two agents to look ahead and see Y/N's face pressed into the glass window, smiling widely.
"Hey guys! How cozy is it in there?" He exclaims while waiting to get in.
Natasha shakes her head slightly with a smirk as she walks up to the door and activates the switch.
Y/N walks in and looks around the room with a frown,
"Feels as cold as Antarctica in here...." he looks at the strapped in Barton,
"Hey Robin Hood, hows the head?"
Clint smiles softly as he looks down,
"Getting better kid."
Barton looks up at the smiling Y/N,
"How'd you get Loki out of my head?"
Y/N shrugs as he tries his best to explain,
"Eh....well I think it had something to do with me touching the scepter. I absorbed some of it into my body, weird and creepy I know.... and when I was fighting you, I could sense it inside you as well, so I just grabbed most of it out."
"Thanks Y/N...."
Y/N waves it off, "Don't mention it....plus you hurt Nat so I had to show you up." He adds with a wide smile
Clint looks up at Nat in worry,
"How many agents did I..."
"Don't." She also looks up at Y/N who shuts his mouth before actually answering the question.
She then looks back down at Clint, "Don't do that to yourself, Clint."
"I was gonna actually answer that question too. A whole shitload of agents." Y/N declares in his head
"This is Loki. This is monsters and magic, and nothing we were every trained for."
"Well, there's a first time for everything. I for one, am excited." Y/N interjects while rubbing his hands together
"Loki, did he get away?" Clint asks eagerly
"Yeah.... don't reckon he told you where?"
Clint shakes his head, "didn't need to know. I didn't ask."
"Goddamn it Clint. You were his pal for a hot second, you gotta know stuff like that."
"He's gonna make his play soon though." Clint adds in as he sips on the water Nat poured for him earlier,
"Today."
Y/N then widens his eyes as he look at the archer,
"Then we got to stop him!"
"Yeah? Who's "we"?
"I don't know." Nat says,
"Whoever's left."
"Well, if I put an arrow through Loki's eye socket, I'd sleep better, I suppose."
"Tch tch tch-" Y/N interrupts while waving his finger,
"Not before I shove those curved horns up Loki's a-"
"Y/N, focus." Nat firmly directs towards Y/N, causing him to quiet down
"Sorry.......it's not a bad plan though." He whispers the last part to himself
"Kid, you sure you're up for this? We're spies, not soldiers. Now you want to....wade into a war. Why?" Clint asks the teenage agent
"Why not? Loki's threatening us with war....he hit us all right where we live....."
"But what is Loki up to...." Clint asks himself
"To tear us apart I presume..." Nat answers quietly
"Yeah, I mean divide and conquer is cool and all, but he know he has to take us out to win, right? He wants to beat us and he wants to be seen doing it. He wants an audience...." Y/N rambles on as he puts his hand on his chin to rest.
Nat worryingly puts her hand on Y/N's shoulder,
"You okay?" She whispers, by which Y/N ignores the question
"I caught his act in Germany first hand. But that was the previews. And THIS is the opening act, and we are going into.....the climax. What better way to be recognized then by a monume-" Y/N starts to space out for a second,
"Stark Tower...."
The door opens up and Steve in full uniform walks out,
"Time to go."
"Go where?" Nat asks
"I'll tell you on the way. Can you fly one of those jets?"
Y/N raises his hand and waves it frantically,
"Oh I can! I can! Let me!"
"Ignore the kid. I can." Clint interjects, causing Y/N to glare at the archer in mock anger
Cap glances at each of the agents,
"You got a suit?"
Clint nods, "yeah"
"Then suit up." Steve finishes before walking out
Y/N looks at Clint and Natasha,
"Welp, what are we waiting for? Lets give Loki hell."
Thor is seen picking up his hammer and thrusting it towards the air, electricity comes out as his armor crawls up his body.
Cap is shown lifting up his famous red,white, and blue shield.
Hawkeye places numerous arrows into his holster and grabs his bow from the corner.
Nat activates her Widow stingers on her wrist as they shine bright blue.
Tony is working on the operating table, repairing his Mark 6 helmet, which went through a lot during the hellicarrier battle.
Y/N carefully places pieces of his armor onto his body, wearing a small smile as he does it. He then grabs as many kunai and shuriken as possible, a couple smoke pellets and his dual swords and staff.
He takes a deep breath as he reaches into his bag and pulls out a small photo of his family back at the orphanage. He traces his finger over it slightly, closes his eyes for a few seconds and puts it back into his bag.
He puts his mask illusion over his face and leaves out the room, flapping his cape for dramatic effect as he does.
Cap, Titan, Widow, and Hawkeye walk through the corridor side by side as they prepare to board the jet.
As they approach the jet, Y/N glances at Rogers,
"You know....as cool as you look in that outfit. I prefer your 1940's suit. Just wanted to let you know before we..... go off to battle." Steve gives him a look before they finally reach their transportation
"Hey, you guys aren't authorized to be in he-" An agent starts off while in the jet
"Son, just don't." Rogers lets him know, shutting up the agent instantly as they go into the cockpit of the jet.
"Yeah son, DONT." Y/N emphasizes as he smacks the walking agent in the back of the head.
"Sir, I've turned off the arc reactor but the device is already self-sustaining." Jarvis states to Stark as he flies towards Stark Tower, spotting a strange device harnessing the Tesseract, with Dr.Selvig near it.
"Shut it down, Dr. Selvig."
Selvig turns around at Tony's voice,
"It's too late! She can't stop now." Erik then examines the beauty he created, still under the influence of Loki's scepter.
"She wants to show us something! A new universe."
"Okay." Tony lets out as he charges up his Repulsor blasts. As they fire, a energy field appears around the device, seemingly absorbing the blasts, and deflects it back at Tony, whilst also blasting Erik Selvig away, who hits his head against a electric box near him.
The loud noise causes citizens below to look up in surprise
"The barrier is pure energy. It's unbreachable." Jarvis lets Iron Man know,
"Yeah I got that." Tony responds before looking down at Loki, who's looking back at Stark with a stoic look
"Plan B."
"Sir, the Mark 7 is not ready for deployment."
"Then skip the spinning rims. We're on the clock."
Tony then lands in his landing circle as the machinery starts to come off the billionaire. Loki and Stark keep each other in their sights as they both walk into Tony's Towers.
"Please tell me you're going to appeal to my humanity." Loki starts off, looking up at a suitless, this defenseless Tony
"Actually, I'm planning to threaten you."
"Should've left your armor on for that."
"Yeah..." Tony replies as he walks down the steps,
"It's seen a bit of mileage and you've got the glow stick of destiny."
This comment causes Loki to look down at his scepter with a smirk,
"Would you like a drink?" Tony asks as he goes behind the bar
Loki laughs a bit, totally oblivious to what's Tony's doing,
"Stalling me won't change anything."
"No, no. Threatening." Tony corrects him,
"No drink? You sure? I'm having one."
Loki, visibly annoyed, faces the window as he looks out into the city,
"The Chitauri are coming. Nothing will change that." He faces Tony again,
"What have I to fear?"
"The Avengers." Tony replies while pouring his drink
Loki gives him an confusing look, causing Tony to elaborate
"That's what we call ourselves. We're sort of like a team.... "Earth's Mightiest Heroes"- type thing."
"Yes, I've met them. If I'm not mistaken, I handled them as well...."
Tony smiles widely,
"Yeah..... it takes us a while to get any traction, I'll give you that one. But, let's do a head count here....
Your brother, the demigod, a super soldier, a living legend who kind of lives up to the legend....A man with BREATHTAKING anger-management issues, a couple of Master assassins.... and who can forget the wide-eyed kid....."
This causes Loki to let out a little amused smirk,
"You even brought that little sproutling into your little team, cant say I'm not surprised by the desperation."
"Call it what you will...." Tony continues as he puts on a wristband,
"But something tells me very few will be able to match him in a few years.... and you, big fella, have managed to piss off every single one of them."
"That was the plan."
"Not a great plan.....when they come. And they will. They'll coming for you."
"I have an army."
"And we have a kid that can twist your ass 50 ways in a blink of those strange eyes of his, you getting the point?"
On the ship, Y/N starts to clean his swords, swings his staff a bit to let loose, and does numerous stretches before he stops and sneezes into his armored arm.
"Geez, how popular am I? I've been sneezing almost this entire jet ride." He then continues what he was doing,
"I sure love being talked about I guess...."
