Even after lying down for an hour or so I couldn't sleep and I know that Laura must be awake too so I climbed out of my bed and sat myself on my wheelchair (something that I have mastered in this past year) and wheeled myself to her room. I knocked.
"Who's there?" she asked.
"Laura?"I replied.
Silence and then I heard her getting out of her sheets and running to open the door. I knew that she will be surprised to see me even worried and I guess I was right.
"What happened Lynn is everything all right?" she asked confirming my theory.
"Yeah I am okay I couldn't sleep can I come in?"I said simply.
She nodded and then wheeled me to her bed and laid me down on the bed opposite her.
"Laura?" I mumbled, "Sing to me, it helps me sleep."
After thinking for a while she decided to sing me a poem that I have heard before but I couldn't remember where:
