When does the journey end?
is it when our lives begin to descend?
as the cusp of life bears its fangs,
and we lose touch with what makes us sane,
nothing can stop our quest to fame,
for we made a promise to come back again.
As our effort falls forth as a fatal miss,
And our dreams and hopes fall down the abyss,
I now know how our journey ends,
the greatest treasure thats value knows no end,
a final breath I could never hope to bend.
You will not die to this pit,
I will not succumb to this pain,
We will not leave this den,
without showing it the power of our kin.
