I would like it to cease,

I would finally find peace.

I stand at its threshold,

A sharp blade away.

Yet you cover this sight,

As you smile and face me.

We all stand at its cusp,

like the silence on an open sea.

As the breeze fills our hearts,

we ignorantly let it be.

between the sky and our feet,

attracts and repels us,

crafting our fate unknowingly.

Our soaring time will come to an end,

our lives will change, ascend or descend.

I would like it to cease,

I would finally find peace.

As I stand on this breeze,

Filled by the silence of the open sea,

threatened by the edge of time,

I can say,

Your love has set me free.

Maybe not today,

just one more day.

For her sake.

Because,

Her heart still needs me.
