Shuichi's POV
I can hear everyone, everything. I can feel everything. But why can't I move?
I feel Kokichi clinging onto my legs like a lifeline. I hear the story behind all of Danganronpa. I can sense everyone in the room. But I can't move.
Kokichi's POV
"We have to call 911! We need to get out of here!"
Tenko exclaimed, and everyone seemed to agree.
"Well that's the problem. We all are actually in a hospital."
Rantaro's message shocked everyone even more.
"And they never bothered to help us?"
Korekiyo spoke up.
"Well, since we agreed to it, they had no right to disconnect us. Not it mention it was quite dangerous to disconnect the person without them dying in game."
"So if we disconnect Shuichi..."
I began, but cut myself off before I could say anything else.
"Yeah."
Great. This was just great.
Who knew if Shuichi would even wake up at all. Even Tsumugi. Well, who cares about her. She's the one who put us into this mess.
"So.. what now?"
"We should get you all back to your families and give you time to recover. Maybe even create a group chat with all of us?"
Everyone agreed.
Except me.
I had no family to go to, no phone, I actually used to live with Shuichi..
"I think I'll just stay here."
"What? Why?"
Did Rantaro really have to ask that many questions, damn.
"The only person I have is Shuichi. I don't have a family."
Well that sure shut everyone up.
"If you ever need someone to stay with, my doors always open."
"Thanks Rantaro, but I think I'll just stay here."
Everyone soon left the room, leaving me, an unconscious Shuichi, and an unconscious Tsumugi.
I wonder what'll happen if I unplug her device... No! You are not stooping that low, Kokichi!
Maybe I should get some rest... yeah that sounds good.
I lean on Shuichi's legs as I fall asleep on the floor.
Shuichi's POV
Everyone left and Kokichi was currently leaning against my legs, most likely asleep.
I should probably get some rest too...
I feel myself drift off...
Until I feel like I'm falling again,
And I fall...
Until I find myself back.
Back at the end of the underground tunnel. With Tsumugi Shirogane standing in front of me.
"What do you want..."
I hissed.
"What I want? Well, what we want is very different from what we need. Remember last time you wanted something? You died."
Tsumugi spoke cunningly, giving a mocking tone to her words.
I hated that tone.
"I said... what do you want. Why is everyone awake except me?"
I step forward onto the metal platform. One step closer to beating her with my fists if she tries anything.
"And what did you do to my memories?!"
Tsumugi formed a wicked smirk, going into full mastermind mode.
"Oh Saihara, I'm sure you already know what I did! Why don't you accept it yourself?"
She's right.
I knew what she did.
She gave me back all my memoried back, but i can remember everything. Everything she did to me. Everything she did to us.
Everything she did to Kokichi.
She used ya for a twisted game. After we agreed, she had full rights over us and our bodies. She could torture us and the law wouldn't even blink an eye at it.
I don't want to think about that now.
"What do you think I deserve?"
Tsumugi spoke up.
"Despair... would it ever rule over hope? What does despair deserve? To be crushed?"
"..yes. Despair will never win. You and I both know this."
Tsumugi gave a sly grin.
"Goodbye Saihara."
My vision starts to fade...
And I wake up.
Inside a room.
I'm hooked up to a strange machine and Kokichi asleep but my legs.
I'm back.
