As the storm clouds gathered, heavily dyed black. Leo, was practicaly running for his life.
'Huff, huff.'
What are those things. He thought
Lost in his thought, he hit a tree. Frightened, he looked back, searching frantically for the cloaked shadows chasing him.
I think I lost them.
Looking back, he saw them behind him. OH SHIT! You have got to be kidding me. The first figure, probably 6 feet 7 inches, six burning red eyes and finger nails as long as tree twigs. The second figure, same but only shorter.
'What do you want from me?' Leo asked. Silence was the answer received.
'Why don't you leave me alone? I haven't done anything wrong to anyone.' At the last statement, it began to rain, the shadows disappeared in a puff of black smoke. Maybe they don't like water. Exhausted, Leo laid down on the wet sand, allowing it to take its place on his body. The thought of snakes and scorpions here in the desert kept him from sleeping. I'll make the best of it. Leo slept well, only waking up every now and then to checking to seem if the shadows has come back for him.
'Ahh!' Leo screamed as someone or something grabbed his leg from the other side. 'Wake up lazybones. It's time for school.' Leo's mom.
' Do I really have to go?' Leo asked.
' Yes, you do.'
' Crap.' Leo said as he came down his bed. He entered the bathroom to brush(and obviously have his bath) when he noticed something strange. Holy piece of shit! The hell is that? In the mirror, his eyes were silt like (like that of an alligator). Meh. I'll have to forget about it sooner or later. He took his bath, was dressing up when his mom called,
'Leo, come down your foods gonna get cold.'
'I'll be down in a minute, mom.' A few minutes later, he came down, and met his younger brother about to dip his fork into Leo's breakfast.
'Don't you dare put that fork into my food, Troy!'
'Hehe, wassup Leo?' Troy said rubbing the back of his neck.
'Alright cut it out you two.' Their mom said, breaking up the miniature fight that was about to commence. Leo then sat down and started eating his food, enjoying the silence....until his mom broke it.
' So..Leo, how are you feeling about your first day in school?'
'...' was all she got as an answer.
'Leo, come on. What have I done to wrong you? Tell me please.' His mother begged.
'Oh, so you really want to know right. I'll tell you and that won't be a problem. You see when you keep moving it affects us in many ways you won't understand, not even in a million years. You keep moving from city to city, from town to town, from school to school, and you think you are doing this for our own good as you always say. You're only doing it for your own good not for ours! You call yourself a mother and yet you don't ened know the pains your very own children are facing. Path, I don't even know why am talking to you.' Leo said storming out of the house with the last statement. Outside, Leo grabs his bike and rides off to school.
' Hey.' A girl greeted Leo as he opened his locker to get his books for the first period.
' Hey.' He responded without any emotions.
' My name's Lizzie. What's yours?'
' Leo. Leo Mcgroover.' He turned to go, but was shoved out of the way, making his books fall.
' Hey punk, look where you are going will, ya?' A dude asked, earning laughter from everyone on the corridor.
' You're the one who's meant to watch where your going, you goddamn mother-fucking bitch.'
' Ohhhhhh, that's messed up son.' Someone from the crowd commented. Angry, Tucker grabbed Leo from his collar.
' I wouldn't do that if I were you.' Leo said cooly. Tucker raised his hand in an attempt to strike Leo with a punch. Traveling fast, the punch almost hit Leo but was caught.
' I'm not in the mood to fight, okay? I started off the day bad, so please leave me alone or I'll make you.'
' Why. You. Little. Punk!'
' Why you motherfucker!' (His part was said by Tucker. Sorry for the confusion.) Tucker tried punching Leo in the belly, thinking fast, Leo caught the punch and retaliated with his own straight to the mid-section.
' uff! *groan*.' Tucker groaned.
' I told you I don't want to fight, but you forced me to. Now look what befell you.' Leo said.
It has to be him. I'll know Denite when I see him. This dude's probably just strong. But....he has this strange aura coming out of him. Could it be? I guess I'll just stick around for a while. Lizzie thought.
-----Time skip to end of school-----
' Hey Leo.' Lizzie greeted
' Hey...' Leo answered trying to unchain his bike, but found it stuck. 'Shinanigans! (tell me if I spelt it correctly.) My bikes chain not coming off!' Frustrated he punches the lock, and is amazed when it broke. SHIT! Not here.
' Leo, are...you alright?' Lizzie asked, equally surprised.
' You know, I don't think I am.'
' Hey, you wanna go out for a treat?'
' Err...okay. Where?'
' Meet me at Sabor resturant. You know where that is?'
' I'll find it.'
' Sweet. It's a date then.'
' Okay.'
---At home---
' Hey mom.'
' Hey honey, how was school today?'
' Exciting.' He responded, grinning thinking about his fight with Tucker. ' Hey mom, I've got a date with a girl some minutes after now, could I go?'
' Sure, why not. I mean you're already of age so. You're free to go.'
' Thanks mom! You're the best.' Leo said as he ran up the stairs.
' I know.'
When he got to his room, he was really puzzled about what to wear. I don't have any shirt that matches with a blue jeans. Meh ( you'll keep seeing more of this as it's his favorite word) i'll just pick anything I see. With that, he got into the bathroom, freshened up, wore his clothes ( obviously ), and went down the stairs.
' Hey mom. '
' So fast! Looks like you're eager to go aren't ya?' His mom asked while he answered with a shrug.
' Hey Leo, where are you going? Finally got a date hun?' Troy asked wiggling his eyebrows.
' Hey, mind your business Troy.' Leo warned.
' Cut it out you two.'
' Hey mom, can I go now? I don't want to be late.'
' Sure thing honey.'
Leo rode down a couple of blocks(hey guys listen, I don't live in Canada, so am just making up the scenes), took a right turn and found the restaurant. He entered and searched for Lizzie. Ah, there she is.
' Hey Leo.'
' Wassup.'
' I'm good. You?'
' Meh, to say the least.'
' How 'bout we order, I'm starving.' Leo said.
' Sure thing.' Their orders came, Leo finished first, Lizzie gave him her's, they ordered for desserts.
~time skip to when they were done eating and Leo went out while Lizzie paid the bill~
' Mm?' Leo said as he felt his wallet being swipped from his pocket.
' Hey, stop!' Leo said as he rose his hand to catch the thief. Surprisingly, fire came forth of his hand, and burnt the man to crisp. Great now this, this day certainly couldn't get any worse.
' Leo!' Lizzie said as she came out of the restaurant. ' What was that?'
' Err... what was what?'
' You know fire shooting out of your hand and everything!'
' You saw that, didn't you?'
' As clear as the morning sun.'
' Shit! You think anyone saw me?'
' Nah, I don't think so.' Lizzie said looking around. 'Come on, let's go.'
' Hold on, I've got to get my wallet.' Leo bent to pick his wallet when he saw it. OH SHIT!
