[taylors point of view]
we had just won our game against tennessee and went out to eat to celebrate the tournament we won. i had a somewhat shaky start but ended up with 26 points. i went 6/15 from the 3 pt line which was decent. i had a funny slip up when i went to shoot a layup at the end of the second and a girl hit my nose really hard so i threw the ball and it hit and bounced off the side of the goal then busted my lip open. i just laughed about it because it was actually pretty funny but i had a bloody nose and had to get stitches at half time.
i usually made more but i just shot so much. we went sight seeing for the rest of the day in downtown memphis and i showed eva and jaida around. we then noticed a group of fans near the peabody hotel and when we looked i noticed a few tall men.
"oh my gosh taylor your man is over there!" eva said.
"wait who?"
"tyler you dumbass look at him he's like 20 feet away from us let's go say hey." she said walking towards him.
"absolutely not we will see him tomorrow i look like crap i'm not meeting him like this." i had busted my lip open
"you're gonna still look like that tomorrow TYLER OVER HERE!!" she yelled. jaida then joined her and they were screaming his name.
they started to moan his name and i immediately took off in the other direction. they tried to stop me and it worked for a second because they both pulled me back. i turned to face towards them with my back to the crowd.
"you guys are so childish. eva you are literally meeting him tomorrow please stop and jaida you're better than that."
"cmon you guys he's just a stupid boy," there eyes started to go wide,
"i know he's really hot and really good at basketball and everyone in the world is in love with him but still can we just not tonight i don't want him to see me looking like this i have dried blood all over my face and i look like i just got a train ran on me." they were looking behind me at the crowd i guess the whole time.
"i'll run a train on you." someone said from behind and i screamed and turned around kicking them really quick.
i then noticed it was him
holy crap i just kicked tyler herro and probably am the reason he won't have kids anymore that's how hard i kicked.
he fell down on his knees saying a lot of cuss words under his breathe and a few out loud.
"OH MY GOD ARE YOU OKAY IM SO SORRY!" i yelled trying to help him up noticing how toned he was.
"god damn taylor i thought our first meeting would be a little different i thought you'd do something else to my dick not kick it shit." he said trying to get up.
"on second thought maybe i'm not so sorry." i said dropping his arm so he fell back down.
"chill chill i was kidding taylor nice gam tonight though i was gonna go watch but couldn't because i slept in sorry."
"no no it's fine you didn't miss much."
"oh i still watched it my favorite play was when you busted your own lip open the stitches look kinda hot by the way." he said looking at my lips.
i quickly turned towards jaida and eva and they were still standing there fangirling over him.
"hey ladies jaida you had a nice game too i think you could beat taylor over here." he said putting his arm around my shoulder.
"and you must be eva the girl who took my spot during the netflix and chill session."
i took his arm off of me.
"oh as if i wouldn't netflix and chill with you."
"stop playing hard to get taylor i just heard you talk about how hot i am and do i need to pull up the overtime interview you did again? don't fight it i know you wanna chill with me."
"i was um- kidding and over exaggerating you know your actual uglier in person." i said nervous laughing and touching where my stitches were.
"well you're even hotter in person so at least on of us is lucky. we could both be lucky if you come back with me tonight."
"hahha i'm with my friends showing them around right now sorry though."
"i'll go!" both eva and jaida said stepping up to tyler as i stepped away from him.
"how about i come with y'all to go sightseeing?" he asked looking past both of them at me.
"i don't know we have to be back to the bus by 8 and it's already 6:30–"
"yes you can of course." they cut me off.
"cool hope it's okay with you tay."
"yeah it's fine i'm a big fan of you."
"really i'm a big fan of you too what a coincidence."
"as of when? last week" i said laughing joking around.
"well actually as of when i saw you ball out in a kentucky game once that i went to but i'm a even bigger fan now especially with the lip thing." he said laughing as well.
we all walked around beale street and went in some stores. we took goofy pictures all 4 of us then i got tyler to take pictures of me eva and jaida. they both also wanted a picture with him so i took pictures of them.
"i know you want a picture with me to taylor you're playing hard to get come here." he said handing his phone to them and pulling me to him.
i put my arm around him and tried to smile even though it kind of hurt then made a goofy face for the other picture. tyler looked down at me laughing when he saw the face i made and i laughed too.
"oh my gosh y'all are so cute together y'all need to make some d1 babies pleaseee." jaida said as she handed him the phone back.
"yeah we do need to get to that" tyler said with his arm still around me. it was very low on my waist.
"yeah hahah." i nervously laughed and just agreed. i don't know why i did that. please someone do something dumb.
"wai—"
"oh my god is that TYLER HERRO!!" a group of screaming girls yelled. tyler of course took a lot of pictures and talked with them for a minute.
"oh my god you and taylor lee are hanging out i love you your my favorite girl hooper can we get a picture are y'all dating??" i of course took pictures with everyone and we talked for a bit.
after we all took a big group picture and tyler surprisingly didn't put his arm around anyone other than me. we all continued to walk around after and when it got around 7:30 we walked back to the peabody.
"i actually had a lot of fun with you girls tonight y'all are funny as hell." he said talking to all of us.
he was very thoughtful through the night and talked to everyone equal amounts giving all of us attention.
"jaida and eva i hope y'all get taylor to stop playing hard to get by tomorrow you play to damn much."
i put my hand over my heart, "ouch tyler that really offended me i'm not playing hard to get."
"yes you are." all 3 of them said.
"no i'm just like that you'll learn from it but we gotta go so see you tomorrow get ready to lose." i said as we all waved goodbye to him.
"she secretly love you." eva said.
"oh it's not a secret." tyler said.
"wait i wanna make a deal if i do win since you are so confident." he said.
"and what's the deal because i am confident i'll win."
"if i win then you have to give me a kiss." he said smirking.
"umm absolutely.... not."
"why not i mean you obviously like me and i thought you knew you were going to win."
"oh i do i'm just not a betting women plus in the .01% chance i lose i can't kiss you with my lip like this." i said looking at the ground.
"oh cmon i don't bite or i won't yet at least." he said smirking as jaida and eva giggled at him.
"no tyler."
"you scared awww you think your gonna lose your worriedddd" he kept going on.
"okayyy fine fine deal if you win you get a kiss."
we shook on it and then he said goodnight to us. i got the girls for encouraging him and we walked to the bus. as soon as we got back to the hotel i sat in the lobby for a little bit staring at the wall then i went upstairs took a shower and went to bed.
