It was midnight when Scarlett Henderson entered her house, with the help of Blake the two had changed Scarlett's tire so the brunette could drive home. As the blonde entered the living room she saw a small figure curled up on the couch. A soft smile graced her features as she walked forward to Dustin who had probably waited for her to come home, she pulled the old wool blanket over his body and placed a kiss on his forehead before she made her way towards her room.

"Remind we why we're involving my sister in all of this? I've seen her almost die of thirst because she didn't want to get up to get a glass of water." Dustin huffed as the trio walked towards their school "Because we need a responsible adult." Lucas retorted as he waved around his arms "She's seventeen." Dustin emphasised and Lucas opened his mouth to reply but Mike interjected "Stop it okay? Scarlett is going to help us now lets go talk to her." Mike said before taking off towards the teenager who was smoking by the school entrance.
"Scar!" Said girl looked up with raised eyebrows "What happened?"Lucas and Mike looked at Dustin expectedly, but when the curly haired boy kept quiet, Mike took the lead "Can you meet us by the power lines behind my house at three fifteen?" Scarlett nodded "Sure, why though? Are we going to fight some wicked monster?" She referred to the one time that she and Nancy had dressed up as monsters and had chased the boys at the power lines when they were younger "We're going on a mission, El's coming too." Dustin quickly smiled as he had some input, Lucas just rolled his eyes "We'll tell you more about it later."
"Okay, I'll see you then." Scarlett stood up as she threw away her cigarette and waved at the boys one last time as she walked into Hawkins High School.
Nancy and Steve kissing was the first thing that Scarlett saw as she entered the school, she was happy for them, Nancy and Scarlett might not have been exactly best friends, but they were friends. And yet, Scarlett was still a teenager, she was jealous of the sweet relationship that Nancy and Steve seemed to have. Scarlett's past relationship had ended in the guy having sex with her a few times before he dumped her, it was natural for her to want their type of relationship.
While she was caught up in her thoughts, Scarlett bumped into someone, or rather someone bumped against her "Ah, Henderson." Steve smiled down at Scarlett who offered a quick hello as she walked towards her first class, English "I was wondering, could you help me write my essay?" Steve asked and Scarlett turned to look at the taler teen "What?" Steve looked down at her "Can you help me write the essay that we have to hand in this week?"
As Scarlett turned to keep walking, Steve gripped her shoulder and turned her to look at him "Look it'll be like you're tutoring someone. I can even pay." Steve quickly said, reaching for his wallet "I don't want your money. Why do you even need my help? It's not even close to the end of the school year." Scarlett continued to walk as Steve walked beside her "Yeah well I want to be able to graduate next year." Steve turned so he faced Scarlett and made puppy eyes at her "Please? I can help you with math."
A laugh escaped Scarlett's lips "Sure I'll help you, but as I can remember you've failed math like every year." Steve put a hand over his heart in mock hurt "So have you. Can you help me today?" Scarlett bit her lip, she couldn't say that she was going out with her brother and his friends along with a weird girl with powers, who they had found in the woods. All so they could find Will Bryers "No, I have to help Dustin with.....homework."

As usual, Mrs. Daniels drove everyone to the point where they were questioning their existence and wether they still wanted to continue life. It didn't help that after an hour of Mrs. Daniels, most of the class had Mr. Rivera. Mr. Rivera was a man in his mid forties, who was convinced that Russians had, or would infiltrate the small town of Hawkins. Most of his psychology lessons were in fact filled with conspiracy theories. That and the image of the man scratching his long white beard and using said beard to clean his glasses.
Poor Scarlett had to endure the class alone, Blake was held back the previous year so she wasn't there to support Scarlett, Barb and Nancy had always been a grade below Scarlett, and Steve had dropped psychology so teasing him was out of question as well.
Mr. Rivera stopped his explanation of a simple Russian sentence and how it was a complicated code, when the lunch bell rang, "Remember class, I want you translate those Russian sentences with the help of your dictionary." The class rushed out of the room "What's Russian got to do with psychology." Muttered one of the boys as most of the group made their way towards the cafeteria.

To say that Scarlett was surprised that she couldn't find Blake anywhere was an understatement, Blake was never late for lunch or sick. Scarlett walked up to the bitch trio and Nancy "Carol, is Blake sick?" Scarlett asked as she stopped by their table, causing the four teens to look at the girl "No." Nancy furrowed her brows, first she hadn't seen Barb, now Scarlett hadn't seen Blake "Maybe she just got tired of hanging around with you." Tommy grinned "Or she finally realised that you're straight so you aren't going to fuck her." Carol added, her and Tommy laughing and Scarlett glared at the two before she stormed off.
"Seriously guys?" Steve sighted "Hey Scar. Scarlett!" The taller boy grabbed the girl's wrist "Let me go." The brunette pulled her wrist back as Steve looked down at her with sympathy "Don't listen to those idiots okay? I'm sure Blake just decided to ditch school or something." Scarlett scoffed internally "Blake always asks me before she ditches school. Something else is going on here." The brunette walked off and Steve combed his fingers through his hair before he returned to his table "That sucked guys."
As Scarlett made her way towards her car a few hours later, she saw poor Jonathan being cornered by the bitch trio, Nancy and a random third redheaded girl "What's going on here?" The other teenagers turned to look at the brunette "Henderson." Carol smiled smugly as she looked at Scarlett "I think you're loosing all your friends today." Steve handed Scarlett a few pictures, pictures that featured the ones who had attended the party the night prior.
There were multiple pictures that showed Scarlett smoking or drinking, but one picture in particular caught Scarlett's attention, the brunette had the top of her overalls loose and she had taken off her striped shirt to dry it, and Blake was staring at the girl's back.
"See that's the thing about perverts, it's hardwired into them, they can't help themselves." Steve, who had taken back Scarlett's pictures, ripped all of the paper "So you just have to take away his toys." Steve walked back towards his car "No please not the camera." Jonathan pleaded as Tommy held him back "Tommy. Tommy, let go. Here you go man." Steve held out the camera for Jonathan to take, but as the shorter boy reached out, Steve dropped the camera "Let's go, the game's about to start."
Nancy crouched down and gathered the torn pieces of a picture that showed her in her bra as Scar proceeded to do the same to the picture that showed Blake staring at Scarlett. Nancy walked off and Jonathan looked at Scarlett "Scar, I'm so-" "Not now, I have to go Jonathan."
Scarlett quickly drove home before to ditch her car and take her bike, she was going into the woods with a bunch of kids, so a car wouldn't be helpful. Scarlett made her way towards the power lines. To her surprise the boys were yet to arrive, however Eleven stood there all by herself muttering "Three, one, five."
"Hey Ellie." Scarlett pushed her bike forward with one hand as her other hand to return her cigarette to her lips, Eleven turned to look at the elder teenager "Ellie?" Eleven looked at the teen confused "It's a nickname, like El. If you don't like it I can stick to El." Eleven seemed to ponder on the offer for a bit "I like Ellie." Scarlett smiled fondly at the preteen "Okay, Ellie."
A cat hissed at the two girls and Scarlett, being the pet lover she was, bent down and slowly tried to pet the orange cat "Aren't you adorable? Yes you are." As Scarlett played with the ginger cat, the boys finally made an appearance "El, you okay?" Mike asked as he stepped off his bike and walked towards the brunette while Lucas and Dustin followed before they all turned around their bikes "Hop on we've only got a few hours."
Soon the small group cycled for a few minutes before they decided to walk, the ground being a tad bit too muddy for them to cycle. Mike and Eleven walked side by side as Dustin and Lucas followed behind them, and Scarlett almost walked between the two boys "Einstein, take my bike." Scarlett handed her bike to Dustin who clumsily held a bike in each hand while Scarlett took a cigarette and lit it up "You know that's bad for you right?" Lucas remarked as he looked back t Scarlett "Oh I know, that's why I'm telling all of you to not start smoking. When we're all old my point will be proven so learn the lesson." The girl blew smoke out of her mouth causing Dustin to smile and Lucas to roll his eyes.

It was dark and the group was still trying to find Will. Eleven seamed pretty positive and confident of where she was going so no questions were asked aloud, Lucas and Scarlett did share some questioning looks. Eleven stopped out the front of a house. She turned and looked at the rest "Here." Mike frowned "Yeah, this is where Will lives." Mike explained "Hiding." Eleven corrected and Mike shook his head "No, no, this is where he lives." Mike tries explaining it to her again. Lucas and Dustin took a step forward and Scarlett looked at the younger girl with curiosity.
"What are we doing here?" Lucas asked "She says he's hiding here" Mike
elaborated "I swear, if we walked all the way out here for nothing-" Dustin started and was quickly interrupted by Lucas "That's what we did!" Lucas turned to face Mike "I told you she didn't know what the hell she was talking about!"Scarlett rubbed her tired eyes.
"Why did you bring us here?" Mike looked at Eleven "Mike, don't waste your time with her." Lucas snapped "What do you want me to do then?"Mike snapped back and Scarlett interjected "Call the cops like we should have done yesterday." Scarlett spoke calmly to Mike and the boy looked back at her sadly "Scar-" Mike started "Mike, I worked at the police station last summer, I know good people there who can help El. Okay? We should probably get back home" Scarlett started to turn her bike around.
"No." Mike said and Scarlett pinched the bridge of her nose "Mike please, let's just go-" "No! We are not calling the cops or going home." Mike argued and Scarlett looked at him with sympathy, he just wanted to find one of his best friends "Mike what other choice do we have." Lucas waved his hands around, meanwhile Dustin took a few steps forward and looked out onto the street "Guys!"
The arguing stopped and they turned to look at what the youngest Henderson was looking at. An Ambulance and police cars drove past rapidly. Quickly everyone rushed over to their bikes and got on them and rode as fast as they each could in order to follow the cars.
Once they arrived at a lake they all got off their bikes and ran to hide behind a fire truck away from everyone's eyesight "It's not Will" Mike whispered softly "It can't be" They watched as they dragged a small pale body out of the water onto the water bank "It's Will. It's really Will" Lucas sounded shocked before his lips quivered lightly.
Mike backed away and Eleven followed him quickly "Mike-" she placed a comforting hand on his shoulder but he quickly slapped it away "Mike? Mike, what?" He snapped, tears forming in his eyes "You were supposed to help us find him. Alive. You said he was alive! Why did you lie to us? What's wrong with you? What is wrong with you?"
"Mike" Scarlett took a small step forward to try and calm down the boy "What?" Mike stormed off and headed towards his bike before he cycled away "Mike, come on. Don't do this, man." Lucas called out in vain.
The brunette quickly pulled the two boys into a hug, their sobbing quieted down against her jean jacket. Eleven had a seance of longing in her eyes as she watched the trio before Scarlett unwrapped her arm from Dustin and pulled the surprised girl into the hug "Come on, I'm gong to take you all home. Okay?"

After having dropped of Eleven and Lucas at their respective houses, Dustin and Scarlett had made their way home and after a few hours the teenager was curled up under her covers as she sketched Will's face. She could offer it to Joyce and Jonathan at the funeral.
"Scar?" Said girl looked up to see Dustin standing in her doorway, curls sticked to his forehead, his eyes red and cheeks blotchy "Can I stay here?" Scarlett put her sketchbook on her nightstand, only for it to slip off the mountain of books and tumble to the ground along with a bottle of hairspray. She pushed aside her covers and Dustin quickly crawled into the large bed and cuddled into her "Shhhhh, it's going to be okay."

Scarlett being the best older sister 24/7. So what do you guys think happened to the other redhead who's name starts with a B? Also, yes Blake has a crush on her best friend, because who has never had a crush on their bestie?
Also, Starlett is going to happen when Steve stops being a teenage idiot and Blarlett is basically a sister ship.
