Colton's POV
I was pissed. I was frustrated to no end! And so badly I wanted to beat the living shit out of this kid. Because of him, my baby sister is lost out in the middle of the night. With her heart broken of a stupid kiss this guy made with her cousin. Once, I find my sister, this guy is gonna be living in hell.
"Colton? Lets go home and see if she's there?" Asher says.
"Sure, lets hope she is."
We make a left walking down the sidewalk towards our house. After a few minutes, we reach our house steps, and I make a dash through the door up the stairs, and into her room. Hoping she's just passed out in her bed. My eyes fall upon her empty blue sheeted bed.
"Argh!!!!" I scream and throw my fist into the closest wall. Making a thud sound in the process.
That asshole! My baby sister is gone. I walk out of her room towards mine. I hear a voice in the bathroom and I realize its Merissa's voice. Probably talking to some guy.
"Nobody knows what's going on."
What is she talking about?
"Oh this is perfect-"
"Anything for you babe." Merissa's says sweetly into the phone.
Baby? Real pathetic but I wonder what she's talking about.
Unless she knows something about kara!
The conversation ended and when merissa opened the door, I stood outside, arms crossed looking at her.
"Ahhh! Colton you scared me." she says placing her hand over her heart.
"Who where you talking to on the phone?" I ask getting to the point.
"Just a good friend of mine. He's got my interest but there's another girl for him." she pouts.
"Right? You just want left overs? Have you heard anything from Kara?"
"Not a thing. Don't worry she should show up soon." merissa says before sliding past me and towards the living room.
Kara please be careful. And please come home soon! We miss you. I need to see my sis before college starts. Otherwise it went be the same. Your laugh when I tickle you awake, I am gonna miss that. Your my baby sister and I failed at protecting you.
KARA POV
My body shivered as another cold breeze brushed by me. I curl my knees in closer to my chest. Trapping as much body heat as I can. The cool air settles as time moves on. The bright moon creating the only light to see. I turn my head to view my surroundings better, when I see a quick flash of light over beyond the bushes. I blink a few times and then I see more quick moments if light. I stare for a few minutes and its a flashlight! I slowly scramble to my feet; slightly feeling a small pain in my knee where its cut. I move my legs towards the light as fast as I can.
"Hey!" I shout
"Over hear!" I shout again and this time the flashlight points to me.
The bright light blinding me as the person moves closer.
"Can you help me?" I ask. Nothing.
"Excuse me?" I inquire.
Again nothing. But the figure moves closer and then stops about seven feet away from me. Still shinning the light in my eyes.
"Its been a long time hasn't it Kara?" the figure states.
That voice? It can't be him! He's gone for good.
Next thing I know he grabs me by the arm and pulls me down to the ground. My stomach making a thud on the ground from impact. Still having hold of my arm, he grabs pulls it behind me along with my other and ties my hands together. He picks me up over his shoulder and then throws me into the back of a truck. I hear him climb in behind the drivers seat and start the truck to go.
Please oh please somebody find me!
