"can we stop by the house?" mark asked.
kun agreed and he stirred the car towards the villa. it only took a good fifteen minutes to do so hence why kun agreed to the request.
haechan who was resting his head on mark's shoulder for half of the car ride was woken up by the latter because they have arrived at mark's home.
"hey, how was your sleep?" mark asked with care in his tone.
haechan felt his cheeks heat, "it was refreshing?"
"I bet," mark smiled, "you were drooling, too"
haechan cursed in his head, "yOu jUSt hAd tO bE eMbArrAsSinG hUH dOngHyuCkAh"
mark then opened the car door for himself and waited for haechan to come out after him before closing the door behind them. kun decided to wait for them in the car and jokingly told the two to hurry up the chit chats.
mark was actually looking forward to see his mother and not so much his father but since its office hours, the odds were with him.
the elder knocked on the door with patience. not long after, the wooden door was opened by mrs. lee. she smiled in comfort to see her son again. oh how her baby boy who used to have trouble eating by himself is now all groomed up like a man. she was distracted by her reminiscence of the good old days that she has not even paid attention to the unknown boy beside her son.
"how did high school treat my young mark?" mrs. lee questioned with a playful tone and her right eyebrow arched up.
the three then continued their chat on the living room couch.
donghyuck went ahead and answered, "quite friendly, mrs. lee. because of everyone's adoration for your son"
mark thought of teasing him, "are you one of those people, haechannie?"
haechan smiled awkwardly and pinched mark's arm. the younger whispered, "flirting in front of your mom? really?"
mark's mother crossed her arms and kept looking at the two with suspicion lurking in the movement of her eyes.
"oh, I see what's going on," she commented.
mark just chuckled and haechan nervously started sweating.
"what if she doesn't like me already???? I think my breath smells bad, can she smell it from over there? Oh no"
"would you be so kind and enlighten me?" she hummed.
"we're friends," haechan replied.
but mark answered too, "we're more than friends, mother"
"oh" was all that she could say at the moment.
"do you not approve of it, mother?"
"love is love. you are at the age where you are already mature and I have my trust in you, dear son," she caressed her son's cheeks.
she then averted her attention to donghyuck, "haechan, I hope you take good care of my son and never hurt him, okay? he's a crybaby and if my son ever hurts you, do not hesitate to call me so I can give him a good smack on the head"

After their quick stop by the house, they visited the office and mark immediately looked for johnny.
donghyuck was asleep again and this time, mark did not bother waking him. mark then told kun to look after donghyuck while he talks with one of the employees for some matter.
mark went up a flight of floors and marched towards his old friend. they both hugged each other the moment their eyes met.
"hyuuung, I missed youuu," mark said with the sweetest yet fakest tone.
johnny was about to say the same but, "wait a damn minute, I know that tone of yours. you want a favor, don't you?"
mark chuckled as if he was caught red handed. johnny really saw through him just like the before.
"so what is it this time?"
"I just want you to track my old phone's IP address right now"
"that's relatively easy but with the workload your dad gave me for slacking off is horrendous. but I can give you the results tomorrow noon," johnny winked and gave mark a shoulder pat.
"thanks, hyung"
"anything for my boy, just make sure you buy me food the next time you come here and see me"
mark then left the office and went to his apartment.
inside the car, haechan was sound asleep even though they reached the building. mark told kun to carry all the bags and mark will just carry donghyuck to the apartment. mark instantly regretted it. haechan was heavier than what he initially thought.
mark thought, "this would have been such a sweet scenario if I don't look like I'm about to shit myself. I wish I was strong like jeno. I kinda miss him."
after mark's suffering had ended and haechan was laid on the bed, kun decided to see himself off and made sure to lock the door.
mark stood there in his bedroom and admired haechan for a solid five minutes. he might not look that angelic while sleeping, it still makes him coo.
mark giggled, "he's drooling again"
before joining his sunshine in bed, he brushed his teeth and washed his face. he also slid in his pyjamas. not forgetting to also change haechan's clothes. he has seen him naked before so the idea is not new to him but he still closed his eyes when needed.
the older tucked both of them to bed and played with donghyuck's hair for a bit. he actually had other plans for tonight (fucking), but I guess, that will have to wait. right now, his baby needs his rest. he hummed a simple lullaby and hugged haechan close to him and he too fell asleep. he hope they will be forever.

sorry for not updating for so long, my simplycities :( I have no excuse, I was just tired and lazy to write.
