Chapter 8:

Emily's POV.
I watched the sky grow gloomier with dark clouds as I looked out the window of Niall's car.
We're about five minutes away from Joe and Caspar's flat and I'm a nervous wreck. Just thinking about how I'm going to tell them makes me want to vomit.
Niall on the other hand, looks like he's going to burst out into tears at any moment now. I feel so horrible for doing this to him.
I played with the strap of my overnight bag that Zoe told me to pack. We decided to make it a big sleepover thing because we all knew that we were going to stay late.
Niall was kind of weary about the idea, but I told him not to worry.
The rest of the lads, on the other hand, are at the flat in their rooms just thinking I suppose.
No one has really said anything after the decision I made.
We finally pulled up in Joe and Caspar's driveway and Niall turned off the engine and stared ahead blankly.
I unbuckled my seatbelt and turned to him, "Would you like to come in and meet my friends?" I asked softly.
He simply nodded and we both proceeded to climb out of his car and walk towards the front door of the flat.
I knocked a couple of times and stood and waited.
We sat silently side by side until the door clicked open and a cheery looking Zoe greeted us.
"Hi Emmy! And is this Niall? Come in! Come in!"
We entered the spacious flat and smells of pizza and sounds of laughter filled my ears and nostrils.
Zoe and Niall introduced themselves as I glanced around the classy looking room. I can't believe that Joe and Caspar own this much white furniture. It's a miracle that they haven't stained anything yet.
I then heard footsteps nearing the entryway and smirked to myself, with Niall here, this should be fun with Louise.
"Emily!" they all greeted me and one by one gave me hugs and kisses on the cheeks. I said my hellos as well and gestured to Niall.
"Erm, this is my brother, Niall."
He gave a small wave and started doing that weird handshake things with the guys. Louise just stood there, stiff as a board, and stared at Niall.
Tanya did look a little fazed at first, but did step in and give my brother a welcoming hug.
I smiled and walked over to Louise, "And this is Louise. She's just a bit shy sometimes." I patted her shoulder lightly and her cheeks turned crimson.
The rest of the group laughed at my comment and I stood in front of Niall again to bid my goodbyes.
"Well, the lads are at home doing nothing so I think you should go and cheer them up." He smirked and pulled me in for a hug.
"Love you." He said and kissed my forehead.
"Love you too." I patted his back and drew back from our embrace.
"Nice meeting you all! Goodbye now!" he called to the rest of the group.
Everyone said goodbyes to him as he left and shut the door behind him.
Joe clapped his hands to get everyone's attention and smiled, "Now, shall we film some collabs?" he asked.
I nodded, "Yeah, just let me eat something first, I'm starving."
Everyone laughed and Louis directed me towards some opened pizza boxes in the kitchen.
I sat down at the island started eating a slice of delicious cheese pizza and Caspar walked in and sat next to me on a barstool.
He had a worried look in his eyes, but have me that friendly smile of his anyways.
"How are you?" he asked.
Horrible. "I'm fine." I answered him with a small smile.
It looked like he was about to say something, but Alfie ran into the kitchen and hurriedly started cleaning up whilst talking to me.
"Would you like to do the smoothie challenge with me Em? It's for my channel." Alfie said as he threw the old pizza boxes away.
"Um sure." I answered, quite frazzled by his quickness.
I stood up and started to help them clean up as well and Zoe, Tanya, and Louise entered the kitchen.
"Would you like to do a couple videos together for our channels too, Emmy?" Tanya asked with a glint of excitement in her eyes.
I smiled and nodded at them as I wiped the counter clean. "Yeah definitely. Just wait until I'm done with Alfie first."
They nodded scurried off into the den to set up I suppose.
Then, Alfie came up to me with some paper and a pen in his hands. "Could you start writing down the ingredients we set on the counter please?"
I nodded and started writing the various food items down on the paper and ripping the words apart from each other.
My head buzzed with adrenaline as I quickly wrote the words down. How the heck are we going to get ten videos done tonight?
Assuming everyone is going to film one for their channel, this might be impossible.
Maybe I should make mine quick and do a challenge of some sort.
I finished writing and folded up the small pieces of paper and put them into a mug as Alfie set up his camera.
"Alright, ready?" Alfie asked me.
I nodded and looked up into the camera lens.
He pressed record and I smiled at the camera.
"Hey guys! Today I am with the whole group actually, but I'm filming with Emily today!"
He said and gestured towards me.
I smiled and waved, "Hi everyone!"
"Now today we are doing the smoothie challenge. We have ingredients out right here," he gestured to the left side of him where the assortment of ingredients filled the counter top. "And Em wrote them down and put them in this mug for us to pick our ingredients." I held up the mug for him and set it back down.
"Shall we begin?" I asked him.
He smiled, "We shall."

Now let's just say that our smoothies didn't turn out the greatest.
They turned out absolutely horrendous.
I had mustard, green olives, apple juice, chocolate sauce, garlic, and a whole lot of other nasty things in there as well.
I still felt nauseous as Tanya, Zoe, Louise, and I started doing a karaoke challenge for Zoe's channel.
"Hello everybody! Today I am here with Tanya, Louise, and Emily. And today we are going to be doing karaoke challenge! Now who wants to explain what that is?" Zoe said and looked towards the rest of us.
"It's where one of us starts to sing the first verse of a song, and we go on down the line and see if we can get through the whole song! And whoever can't sing the lyrics doesn't get a point, and whoever can, gets one!" Louise spoke up.
"I think you'll understand it more as we go on." Tanya added as the rest of us giggled.
"So I'll start." I said, since that I was the first one in the row, or on the edge I guess.
I thought for a moment, what would be a good song that none of them know.
I decided on a song by Fall Out Boy because I feel like the others wouldn't listen to that kind of stuff. Plus, I'm completely obsessed with them, so why not?
"I don't know where you're going but do you got room for one more troubled soul." I sang.
Zoe, since she was sitting beside me, thought for a moment then sang back, "I don't know where you're going but I don't think I'm coming home."
My jaw dropped at that moment. She listens to Fall Out Boy?
The only reason I got into them was because I met them when I went to the studio with the lads and they wrote some songs together or something like that.
Tanya was sitting next to Zoe and didn't know the song at all it seemed. "I give up!" she said as Zoe and I laughed.
"I can't believe you listen to Fall Out Boy." I muttered to Zoe.
"There's lots of things you don't know about me." She said and wiggled her fingers in front of my face.
I laughed and at that moment, I actually was enjoying myself a little.
But the news I have to tell them was still in the back of my mind and I was worrying about that the most.

I ended up winning the singing battle. After we made that video, we made videos on Tanya and Louise's channel. We did a best friend tag on Tan's and a YouTuber Whispers on Louise's.
I still haven't thought of an idea for my video yet, but I am helping Louis set up his camera for his video that he's doing with me.
We decided to do a Q and A because I feel as if I haven't had time to actually get to know Louis that well. Also, this kind of video is something that he would never do on his own channel, and he wanted to try something new.
"Hey, you ready?" He snapped me out of my thoughts and I slowly nodded as an answer.
He turned on the camera and I put on a smile that looked sort of real I guess.
"Hey it's Louis! Today I'm trying something different so bear with me here. Oh! and Emily is here with me today." I waved at the camera and he continued. "We're doing a Q and A today and we told some questions from Twitter and...." He trailed off and I looked up at him confusedly.
He chuckled and shook his head before standing up to turn off his camera.
"This is stupid. I'm never doing that again." He scolded himself.
I suddenly burst into laughter and started rolling around on Joe's bed which we were currently sitting on.
My laughs started becoming noiseless laughs as Louis just stared at me looking very amused.
My laughing session finally subsided and I sat up again, wiping my eyes from the tears of joy that I had.
I looked up at Louis and he shook his head at me once again.
"You know," he stated, "that's the happiest I've seen you since you entered this flat."
My grin immediately faded and I looked down at my socks that I was wearing.
"Hey," he comfortingly touched my shoulder, "what's wrong?"
I shook my head and looked up into his eyes that were full of concern and worry.
"I'll tell you later when everyone else is in the room." I merely whispered then stood up and left the room, leaving Louis behind in puzzlement.
I put on my fake smile again as Joe, Marcus, Caspar, Alfie, and Jim approached me.
"Will you do the YouTube boy band with us? For my channel of course." Joe smiled, his eyes lighting up with excitement.
I nodded, "Course. Then that only leaves four videos left that I have to be yet!" I sarcastically exclaimed.
The boys laughed and we proceeded to get setup for this video.

It's about midnight and every since video has been finished.
Even Louis got something done with me, even if it was a joking talk about eating healthy on his vlog camera.
We're all still wide awake, and are sitting in the kitchen eating more leftover pizza.
The thing I have to say to them had been gnawing at my brain since I got here and I don't think I can keep it in any longer.
I waited for everyone to stop talking for a moment so I could speak up.
I cleared my throat, "Can I tell you guys something?"
They all looked at me with questioning looks on their visage.
"Go ahead, we'll listen." Marcus insisted and nodded.
I took a deep breath and braced myself for their reactions.
And finally, the words came.
"I have cancer again."

So I changed the title and the cover and the description of this story.
I didn't like the other one very much :/
